You know (can't remember if this was previously stated before this omake ooc or not), this was a great reveal. Didn't expect Minako to be Junko's assistant at all, though it's a nice coincidence all the same. Just another way to make literally everybody family in the future, amirite?
It was never stated directly that she and Junko work at the same firm, but Minako did mention previously that she worked as a secretary for a big realty firm, and that her boss's right-hand woman was really nice. But, having not known that Archer and Junko knew each other until just now, she didn't see a need to mention it.

In short, this-
It wasn't outright stated but some hints have been dropped here and there.

Sooo, while we're waiting on the next chapter, I was thinking of testing something that I don't think anyone's done yet. If it was already vetoed earlier on in the quest (and I'm not combing through all the replies from the last thread hoping to get lucky in finding it), SVS, or if you want to veto it now, feel free to let me know or just ignore the Alaya DM. :smile2:

I'd think this would make sense, considering both Archers are technically both Counter Guardians summoned as Servants by the Holy Grail, so their situations should be pretty identical if not for Alaya focusing on the new and improved Archer from the start of the quest. Then again, there might be a ban on it for some reason? Maybe it'll work but we won't see that Archer's perspective, and he'll just send a message back? Who knows other than the all powerful QM? :V

*BOO!*

...

Did it work this time? *taps mic audibly* Is this thing on?

... Anyways, if you can [see/hear/smell/taste/feel] this, I'm sure you're glad to hear from your good old friend (part of) Alaya again! :whistle2:
Hey, have you heard the news? There's another instance of you that was summoned in Mitakihara, though I'm sure Rin's told you all about it. As a matter of fact, Rin should be talking with Archer right about now, depending on how much 5th dimensional lag we're getting around here. How have things been for you since the Hollow Ataraxia Grail War? Have you gotten a job and started a life, or are you just sticking around as a Servant for Rin and not bothering with it?

Ahem, more to the point. We should probably let you know, as the resident EMIYA around these parts before the latest EMIYA was summoned, that if Instance EMIYA-2 follows the plan and accomplishes his mission, we're going to be releasing Emiya Shirou from our service, which technically includes you. You don't even have to uselessly try to kill your past self to try and paradox yourself out of existence this time! (Not that that's how paradoxes work, gotta love alternate timelines, amirite?)

Of course, our plan was to reincarnate the Archer in Mitakihara and the base Emiya Shirou in our catalogue of Counter Guardians into a new body so that he could live out his life, honestly not sure how that's gonna interact with you. Maybe you'll just combine with the Archer being reincarnated? Maybe you'll be reincarnated alongside the second instance of yourself? Maybe you'll just remain a Servant until you dissipate and your memories return to the original? Who knows?

Your input on what kind of thing you want to occur would be nice, for once we figure out how that's gonna work.

Day 34 Chapter 6
[X] Plan Classic Fate/Stay Night Incredibly Lengthy Explanations (part 2)

You check your phone as the bell for lunch rings. Mochizumi-san and Satomi Kaede walk past you and file out of the library with your other classmates; you'll join them in a few minutes, but first you want to see what your teammates have to say about meeting with Archer's former master after class.

<Homura: Archer's former master is in town, and has requested a meeting with us after class. He says it's important; McRemitz-san's Association is spooked by what happened on Friday night, and Archer's former master wishes to speak with us so she can try to smooth things over and keep this city from being eliminated if the Association gets too scared of what's going on here.>

You scroll past your original message sent to the others through your group chat, looking at what each o your teammates has to say.
<Kyouko: Yeah sure. I guess i can make it. But it better not take 2 long. Ive got a date w/ sayaka later 2nite>
<Kure Kirika: As long as Oriko's fine with coming down to meet us after class, then i dont have any problems>
<Mikuni Oriko: That's not a problem at all. It will take me awhile to make the trip down to Mitakihara after school gets out, but I've done it before, so doing it again tonight shouldn't be a problem.>

Mikuni Oriko's response is the most recent; and Tomoe-san hasn't responded to your message yet. That's fine, you think, putting your phone away as you make your way to the cafeteria to join your friends for lunch. You can ask her what her response is when you see her at lunch. While you walk, you reach out to Assassin, and say to her "Again, I should apologize for not including you when Archer and I went on vacation. If there's anything I can do to make it up to you, please let me know."

"While I am disappointed that I could not join you, master, I understand your reasons for not including me."
A fact for which you are very thankful. Assassin could very easily make your life miserable if she only wanted to, or felt slighted enough by your actions to where she wanted to. "All I ask of you is to stay by my side, and that I may continue to bask in your touch each day."

"Are you sure? I'm sure there's plenty of things I could offer, within reason; all you have to do is ask."

Though you can't see her, you can just as easily imagine Assassin nodding her head for you when she says "I am sure. But if master wishes to remain insistent, then I shall let you know if I do think of something more which I desire."

With that, you terminate your connection with Assassin; and just in time. Madoka waves you down as soon as you and she have spotted each other, and you make your way over to your usual table to join your friends. "Tomoe-san, I was hoping to hear a response from you about tonight."

"What's going on tonight?" Sayaka asks, eying your lunch box as you carefully open it, eying her in return. "Some super-secret magical girl stuff, right?"

You nod, saying "Archer's former master is in town, on behalf of the same foreign magic Association which McRemitz-san belongs to. It seems that what happened on Friday night has them spooked, so she's been sent over here, to get some answers and to hopefully smooth over as many ruffled feathers as possible back home." Your eyes wander over each of your friends as you speak, settling on Tomoe-san as you say "Everyone else is fine with meeting tonight, but I hadn't heard a response from you yet."

Tomoe-san nods, saying "Yes, that shouldn't be a problem for me to make it tonight." Looking over to Sayaka, she adds with a slight playfulness to her voice "Though I do hope this meeting won't keep Sakura-san from meeting her date tonight. That would be a shame."

Sayaka pouts, crossing her arms as she says "She better not; and after the way she asked me out, too."

"Now, perhaps for a change of pace," you say, once more passing your eyes over each of your friends. "Given how our vacation turned out, I was wondering if everyone would be okay with inviting Kure Kirika to sit with us from here on." You know she's fine with sitting in the classroom by herself, talking to Mikuni Oriko over the phone as she eats her lunch; but all the same, you feel as though you should at least extend an invitation for her to join you, assuming everyone is okay with the idea.

"I'd be fine with letting Kirika-chan join us," Madoka says; and you smile at her words. Of course she would be the first to say yes to your suggestion. "I'd like to talk with her about getting the eight of us together again another time."

Tomoe-san nods, adding "Yes, I'd be fine with letting Kure-san join us as well. I've always felt bad about how little interaction she has with her classmates, and even now that she has Mikuni-san, I feel like she must be so lonely, sitting in the classroom by herself all the time the way she does."

Hitomi thirds your suggestion, and says "I know Miki-san has her problems with Kure-san and Mikuni-san, but the experience I had with them over the weekend was nothing but positive. I'd be fine with letting her join us as well."

That just leaves Sayaka, on who all eyes are turned. She crosses her arms, lets out a sign, and says "Fine. Since everyone else is okay with it, I guess she can sit with us." She gives you a look, and adds in a sharp tone "But I still don't like it. I just..." From you, Sayaka looks to Tomoe-san, and then back to you, saying "I know what you two said to me, but it's still hard to get over what those two tried to do. I'm glad they let us use their beach house for the weekend, but-"

"I understand," you say, taking your phone out to text Kure Kirika the good news. "I promise you, Sayaka, she won't be a problem."
<Homura: If you would like, the five of us would be willing to let you sit with us in the cafeteria from now on.>
<Homura: We figured you might be lonely sitting by yourself, and wanted to let you join us if you were.>

You put your phone away, and take your first bites of lunch - thin slices of fried chicken, marinated in a spicy sauce over a bed of rice with chopped red and green peppers; you liked it the last time Archer made this for you, so seeing it again is a welcome treat - as you wait for Kure Kirika to give her reply.
<Kure Kirika: *eyeroll* Do you guys really want to to join you, r are you just inviting me cuz you feel you have to?>
<Kure Kirika: Oriko says I should try to make friends though. Argh, what do I do?>
<Kure Kirika: I can't defy her, but I'm really fine just sitting here talking to her.>

Your eyes scan the messages you've received from Kure Kirika. She actually took the time to write out 'eyeroll'. You can't believe that girl sometimes.
<Homura: We won't force you to join us if you don't want to. But if you decide to join us, know that you are welcome to.>

You put your phone away again, and say to your friends "I don't know if Kure Kirika will be accepting our offer or not, but I have extended an invitation to her all the same. Now-" You turn to Madoka, and say to her "Saotome-sensei has been rather silent about her romantic exploits lately, hasn't she?" Madoka nods. "Does that usually mean good news, or bad news?"

Madoka wags her hands, making an "Ehh," noise as she says "Usually, when Saotome-sensei is being quiet it means she's in-between relationships."

Sayaka nods, joining in to say "Trust me Homura, you'll know when teach has found someone."

"And you'll know when her most recent relationship has ended, as well," Hitomi adds.

"So usually, when she's quiet like this it means she hasn't found anyone to either gush or complain about."

"I see," you say; usually, your mind is on autopilot through most of the school day, so despite being aware of Saotome-sensei's tendency to be vociferous in her romantic inclinations, you've never bothered to pay attention to whatever subtle cues her ranting might tell you about the state of her affairs. "I suppose I should hope she finds someone soon, then."

Do you
[ ] really want Kure Kirika to join you;
[ ] or are you just asking out of obligation?

It was neither brought up nor vetoed at any point in the past, but honestly whether it was or not doesn't matter because I've never given any thought about it one way or another. While they're both technically the heroic spirit EMIYA, the Fuyuki Archer has never factored into this quest outside of the fact that he exists, so I'm not really sure how to answer the question you've posed me.

I guess I'm not, in the most technical sense, going to veto it, but I don't know if I'd encourage it either. Nor would I tell you to expect a reply from the Fuyuki Archer or an acknowledgement that he received it, because like I said, the Fuyuki Archer just doesn't factor into this quest in that way.

[X] Plan Do You Have A Second?
-[X] kind of want Kure Kirika to join you, while you also feel obligated to ask anyways
--[X] for Archer and subsequently Minako's sake at least, obligation-wise
---[X] and you're curious about the phenomenon that is Kirika, and how radically different she appears to you now that you've gotten the chance to get to know her some; you see her in a positive light at this point in any case, despite how impossible that would've been to you a mere week ago
-[X] Learn about some up-to-date class gossip from your friends/girlfriend while you're still eating lunch, such as things Madoka might've seen as the Nurse's assistant, class pairings and who's pursuing who, making sure Mami's going to follow through on putting aside more time for her personal life like dating opportunities, etc.
-[X] If Kirika decides to join everyone, someone (probably Madoka) asks her what her favorite type of food is, her favorite genre of movies/games, what her favorite class is, etc. Presumably people reciprocate.
-[X] Offer dating advice to Sayaka with Madoka
--[X] What do you mean their experience and situation is completely different to Sayaka and Kyoko's? I'm sure Madoka and Homura's experience will translate over just fine!
---[X] Maybe Sayaka should act gallant and call Kyoko "My Lady", like a knight?
---[X] Regardless, Sayaka should maintain confidence that things are and will go great and not lose her cool or hope over their date and relationship regardless of what may or may not accidentally or inadvertently happen; chances are Kyoko wants things to go great as well regardless of what she might accidentally say or misimply, and Sayaka should forgive her for those mishaps like Kyoko should forgive Sayaka of such things
-[X] Get through the rest of the school day and meet everyone back at your apartment; inform Assassin of this beforehand, partly so she isn't left out of things and partly to make sure nobody is poisoned while the meeting is going on

Hm, I wonder how much headway Rin's gotten in the Second Magic since becoming Zelretch's apprentice so many years ago? 🤔

I get it. I'm still hoping the message will get through, and that he'll reply, mainly due to the question at the end of the message. Maybe you could have it that it takes a long time for a message to get through and subsequently a long time for a message to be sent back due to the presence of a second identical EMIYA being around in the timeline? We know Mitakihara's Archer is directly connected to Alaya as he was partly summoned specifically due to Counter Guardian business, so that would explain why it's so easy to get through to this quest's Archer as opposed to the other one who wasn't summoned for Counter Guardian business but rather through a catalyst. Not to mention the dimensional trickery that would ensue from having two identical... let's call them "Alaya terminals" for now... around in the same timeline, one of which Alaya isn't directly connected to at this time.

EDIT: Changed the "want versus obligation" part of the vote.
EDIT2: Added some more conversation stuff as per SVS' post. Nothing too important, and a lot of it could just be skimmed over except the 'getting to know Kirika more' part. Any thoughts on what to add/alter, anyone?
EDIT3: NMS has spoken; Homura's Guide To Successfully Wooing Your Date is a go! If there's anything wrong with it (be is formatting, unnecessary details, etc.), then I blame sleep deprivation. :V

I'll be honest, this sounds more like obligation than us wanting Kirika there; like we feel like we have to get closer to her because of the people around us, rather than because we want to get closer to her for her own sake.

Eh, it's more like Homura isn't adverse to getting to know Kirika better, at least subconsciously since she's at a 6 right now despite Kirika's past actions and twisted mindset, and due to how radically different Homura's seen Kirika as as opposed to prior timelines I can see her wanting to figure her out more about her and see if she can't understand her under all of the Incubator's reprogramming. I'm mostly using "for Archer and Minako's sake" as an excuse for Homura's conscious mind in this case.

It's equal parts interest in the phenomenon that is Kirika versus how Homura's seen her in past timelines, and obligation to get to know her potential future step-sister, actually. So kinda half-and-half, maybe?

I'll edit my vote to make it more clear.

I don't want to nitpick and make you change your vote again, but

It's pretty easy to understand the phenomenon that is Kirika, at least if you have access to meta-information. She goes from "You're Oriko's enemy, so you're my enemy too!" to "Oriko wants to get along with you, so I don't mind getting along with you either."

Maybe if we talk to Oriko, she can get Kirika to care about her studies as well.

But Homura doesn't have access to meta knowledge, at least without us throwing it at her through Archer as Alaya without it being vetoed. :p

It's very difficult to understand someone whose entire existence was overwritten to the exact point that their Element and Origin align perfectly; heck most of the first two routes of F/SN VN were pretty focused on people being baffled and confused by Shirou's self-sacrificial actions and abnormal mindset. In Kirika's case, Homura's essentially peering into the side of Kirika that isn't dedicated to Oriko, which before this timeline it probably seemed as if Kirika didn't have this other normal side to her to begin with considering her warped mindset. It's also been proven rather blatantly to Homura that Kirika can be very emotionally invested in people other than Oriko, which also contradicts Homura's prior thoughts that Kirika gave absolutely all of herself to Oriko's service. It also helps that Homura found out that Kirika has hobbies and interests that aren't made at the whim of Oriko, which helps cement Kirika as more of her own person and allows some degree of separation between Kirika and Oriko.

EDIT: Basically, Homura now sees Kirika as her own person, which was - before this timeline - somewhat impossible to presume consider how fervent Kirika's loyalty and service to Oriko was. Homura's interested to learn about this new person, and since Kirika's seen in a relatively positive light now she doesn't mind learning more about her at all. It definitely helps that she happens to have an obligation to get to know Kirika anyways, so like I said, half-and-half.

I know what you meant by this, but as I was reading it I couldn't help but picture George from Total Recall, except Oriko was George and Kirika was a little chocolate-haired Kuato sticking out of her stomach.

Alright chaps, my day's been long and tough, so no post tonight; and judging what's currently on the agenda I'm thinking that it's likely I'll only be getting an addendum to the previous post out of what we have, and not a full post all it's own. However, assuming all goes well and I get out of work at 2 tomorrow and not 5, I should be able to crank both the addendum and a full new post for you tomorrow. That being said;
-[X] Learn about some up-to-date class gossip from your friends/girlfriend while you're still eating lunch
This is something I wish I had the wherewithal to ask yesterday, but do we have any topics more specific that we'd like to talk about with our friends? Do we have anything we'd like to talk about with Kirika, assuming she decides she can't go against Oriko's wishes and comes to join us?

Done. 👍

Nothing pressing or important for Homura to talk about, really (we'll address Koito's whole situation later, probably after they finish talking with Rin). Just some regular chatter between friends, and getting to know Kirika more if she comes around.

This line of discussion here, asking Kirika about her favourite genre of movies, got me thinking, and I want to have some real talk with you guys. So, I don't have the greatest eyesight, and as a result of that I generally don't watch too many movies or TV shows. But I do watch and read a lot of film reviews and analyses, even though I'm almost certain not to have seen the movie in question except in very rare instances. The reason for this is that I find, by understanding the thoughts of other people about what works, from a thematic, narrative, or character perspective, it helps me to better my own writing.

And then I got to thinking about this earlier post from Enetious.

Kirika: Hey Oriko, have you seen Iron Man (Japanese Dubbed) yet? It's great!
Oriko: Oh, you mean Metal Man (name in Italian)? I wasn't much of a fan of it myself.

Poor Kirika, she'll be tugged between her love for Oriko and her disappointment over Oriko's propensity for watching Italian knockoffs of her favorite movies.
At the time, I thought you were just going along with my joke about Oriko watching Italian knockoffs over the movies being knocked off, much to Kirika's consternation, and just happened to use Metal Man/Iron Man as your comparison. But upon giving it some thought, I actually think Iron Man 1 would work as one of Kirika's favourite movies.

It's got a satisfying blend of action and comedic levity, a mix which Kirika has admitted to liking to Homura on the train ride back, and while I've never seen the Japanese dub of the film, I want to believe that the dub cast is able to replicate the charm that RDJ and his cast-mates bring to the table. And from a thematic perspective, Iron Man 1 mimics Kirika's own development, showing how a person can transform from someone the audience should hate into someone the audience wants to root for by punishing them for their flaws and giving the audience a look at who they are beyond those flaws. As an added bonus, all of the above works to give Kirika a favourite movie that's based off an American comic book hero, thereby serving as another building block on the path to showing Sayaka that Kirika isn't just a heartless monster, that she's a person too; which seems to be the angle we're trying to go for, at least in our treatment of Homura's exploration of Kirika's character.

It's also just a kickass movie, and I can easily see a 12-year-old Kirika enjoying every second of it the first time she sees it in theaters back in 2008.

Also;
EDIT2: Added some more conversation stuff as per SVS' post. Nothing too important, and a lot of it could just be skimmed over except the 'getting to know Kirika more' part. Any thoughts on what to add/alter, anyone?
If we could get some more input from the rest of you guys as to what we want to talk about over lunch, that would be great.

I'm not good at small talk. Maybe ask Sayaka more on what's she's planning on doing during her date or give her some advice?

Tbf I kinda figured that Kirika would've liked Iron Man when I found that knockoff image (which is why I referenced Kirika being miffed that Oriko is watching knockoffs of her favorite movies), though admittedly that may or may not change depending on how good the Japanese Dub for it was. Or maybe the released it in Japanese theatres subbed? Idk. If both exist, and Kirika had a choice, I'm assuming she'd go with the Japanese dub as a 12 year old who doesn't seem to like literature/academic stuff.

Also edited vote to add in Madoka and Homura giving Sayaka dating advice.

She'd definitely like it, but what I was saying is that on later reflection I realized just how well it would fit; and while I don't know whether earlier MCU stuff got dubbed into Japanese or just got subtitles either; I'm assuming it was dubbed, and I'm assuming based on the one dub voice that I do know (motherfucking Mizuki Nana as Captain Marvel, I'm not making this up) that the dubs are pretty damn good.
If both exist, and Kirika had a choice, I'm assuming she'd go with the Japanese dub as a 12 year old who doesn't seem to like literature/academic stuff.
Now hey, Kirika is perfectly fine with literature. It just has to be smutty literature featuring two girls in a romantic relationship.

Day 34 Chapter 7
[X] Plan Do You Have A Second?

"... So tell me, Tomoe-san, have you given any thought as to pursuing a romantic relationship with Kasuga-san?"

Tomoe-san shakes her head at your question, responding with "Well, it hasn't even been twenty-four hours yet since you convinced me that being a little selfish wouldn't be such a bad thing. You can't expect me to have come to a conclusion just yet, can you?"

"Yeah, but didn't you say he'd liked you since your sixth year?" Sayaka asks; both you and HItomi nod; you had all heard her say that on the train last night. "So, I figure you've probably at least got some idea about whether or not you like him, right?"

As you eat lunch, idling chatting with your friends about this or that while you eat, your mind keeps coming back to the response Kure Kirika sent you when you invited her to join your table for lunch. <Kure Kirika: *eyeroll* Do you guys really want to to join you, r are you just inviting me cuz you feel you have to?> Her, well, Kyouko-esque texting etiquette aside, she does bring up a valid point, and one which you couldn't answer for at the time. Do you really want her to join you, or are you only asking out of a sense of obligation?

It's difficult for you to answer, you think, because in both responses the seeds of truth are sewn. Her mother is a person who is growing in importance to Archer, and as such you feel an obligation as far as they are concerned; but you would be lying if you said you didn't also wish to get to know Kure Kirika for her own sake. You're seeing new sides to her, sides you didn't think existed in previous timelines. Before, all you ever saw of her was an obsessive committed solely to giving herself in full to MIkuni Oriko, even to the death of her own self. But that's changed; now, you've seen that she can and does share emotional connections with people that aren't Mikuni Oriko, and you've come to learn that she has her own interests and likes that don't revolve around Mikuni Oriko. Kure Kiriika is someone you once thought you had solved, but now you're finding out that you don't know nearly as much as you thought you did.

You don't like it when that happens, and you want to rectify it.

Fortunately, it appears that you might have that chance right now, as "Ah, Kirika-chan!" you spot a familiar face approaching the table. She waves back as Madoka calls out her name, hesitantly, as though deep down she knows she isn't truly welcome.

"Hey," is the half-hearted welcome which she gives back, taking her seat beside Tomoe-san at the farthest end of the table. "Oriko said I should try to make friends, so here I am." It's neither abrasive nor passive-aggressive, which is definitely an improvement from the Kure Kirika of even just a few weeks ago, but you can tell that she doesn't want to be here all the same. Deep down, you aren't sure you can blame her; a one-on-one conversation with the person you love, or an attempt at connecting with people that, in your mind, don't want anything to do with you; which would you take?

Well, as long as she's here, and as long as you're trying to get to know the Kure Kirika underneath Kure Kirika, you might as well attempt to make her see that, save for Sayaka, the people sitting at this table do want her to be there.

"Did you already eat?" Madoka asks, eying the conspicuous lack of a lunch box as Kure Kirika takes her seat. When a silent nod is Madoka's answer, she asks again "What did you have?"

"I had some of the vegetarian curry Oriko made a few nights ago. I know I said over the weekend that she made a lot and that we've been going through it, but I think it bears repeating; she made a lot. I love her, don't get me wrong, but I have no idea what she was thinking making so much of it."

"Well, do you like it?"

Again, Kure Kirika nods her head, but this time her response is less than silent. "I'll eat just about anything that Oriko makes. But I really like it the best when she makes sweets."

That's a response which both Madoka and Sayaka can agree on; well-made sweets are a manna you've ill had time to enjoy in your many iterations. Following Madoka's questioning, Hitomi decides to strike out with one of her own, asking "Do you have a favourite class, Kure-san? PE, perhaps? You do look to be in rather good physical shape; certainly you're a decent runner, if nothing else."

That slight twitch in Kure Kirika's eye as she turns her head towards Hitomi is all you need to know that wasn't a smart thing for Hitomi to say, given the reason she got to see Kure Kirika's running in the first place. "Don't really like any of my classes," she responds, thankfully not letting whatever level of displeasure she must be feeling show. "School's just something I gotta do in between spending time with Oriko; I'd rather if I didn't have to do it at all."

You don't want to know which of Hitomi's thoughts have betrayed her as, beet-faced, she asks "You certainly are rather devoted to Mikuni-san, aren't you?"

"Of course I am! Oriko's love takes me to my highest point! She's my everything, and I'd be completely lost without her." Though you say nothing, content to merely watch the reactions pass around the table at Kure Kirika's declaration of obsession, you know the truth in your heart; she's just as much of her own person as anyone else here. There's more to Kure Kirika than she's willing to admit. You wish you could understand why, then, that she insists on putting forward this front that nothing matters to her but Mikuni Oriko, even when everyone at this table has already seen that she has things she likes and cares about outside of Mikuni Oriko.

Is it because of how her Element and Origin are perfectly aligned? Is she afraid to admit that there's more to her than just her obsessive love? What's the reason behind it?

"... So, do you have a favourite movie, then?" Hearing Sayaka's question is what snaps you out of your thoughts; and you wonder just how much of the conversation you've missed thinking about this problem before you Clearly, you've missed at least the buildup that would have served as the impetus for Sayaka to ask the question.

Or maybe there was no buildup, and she's just trying to reach out of her comfort zone in as a comfortable a manner as she can.

"Uh... Well, I like a lot of older action movies, like Terminator, Aliens, Predator, stuff like that." You've never seen any of the movies being listed off by Kure Kirika, so you can't say whether those are choices you'd never have expected from her, or choices that in hindsight you should have seen coming. "And, after awhile I started getting into Oriko's Italian lesbian films; but I think I've got to give it to Iron Man if I had to pick a favourite."

Sayaka eyes Kure Kirika; you're not sure what that look in her eyes could mean, and your trepidation at not knowing is only heightened when she asks "You're into American comic books?"

"Nah, I'm more into yuri manga than American superheroes. I just thought Iron Man was a great movie."

You think you see what that look in Sayaka's eyes meant, but it's gone now. "Yeah, Iron Man was pretty good; the second one, not so much; but what I'm really excited about is seeing Thor in May." It was the look of someone who thought she had finally found someone else to gush about her favourite comic book heroes with. Sayaka turns to you and asks "So hey, Thor was a dude from mythology before he was a superhero, right? So, could you like, summon him? You know, as a servant? 'Cause that'd be so cool!"

You shrug, saying "I don't know. I would assume so, but I wouldn't want to give you a misleading answer when I myself don't know for sure." Sayaka looks downcast by your response, and so hoping to bring some levity back to her face you say "Cheer up. I'm sure your day will improve once you and Kyouko are on your date later."

Sayaka huffs at your words, firing back with "Yeah, that's what you think. That little brat'll probably make me pay for everything; and that's even assuming she'll ever still be free tonight after this big secret meeting you're all having." She shakes her head, muttering "Geez, why'd I ever agree to go out with her in the first place?"

"Just be confident and everything'll go just fine!" Madoka says, leaning over to offer what support she can to her friend. "I'm sure Kyouko-chan is feeling just as anxious about your date as you are."

You nod, chiming in with "Madoka is right. I know you're feeling anxious right now, but just be yourself, act confident, don't despair if things aren't perfect, and don't lose your cool no matter what happens, and everything will be fine. I know Kyouko might seem rough around the edges, but I'm sure that regardless of what she says to you or the impression that she gives off, she's hoping that tonight goes just as well as you are."

"Yeah, but like-" Sayaka sighs, shaking her head back and forth between you and Madoka as she says "Kyouko and I aren't as cozy as you two are. What works for you... I just don't know if it'll work for us."

"I know Sakura-san may seem abrasive and uncouth," Tomoe-san says, "But she really is such a nice girl underneath it. She just puts up walls because she's not used to having people around her to support her."

"And if all else fails, if she's being really annoying and she just won't stop saying stupid stuff no matter what-" Kure Kirika smirks; if the approach that you and Madoka have taken doesn't work for Sayaka and Kyouko, then perhaps the relationship advice of someone else who knows how to be abrasive just might. "-just ram your lips into hers and kiss her until she's too stupid to keep saying stupid things."

You look at Hitomi, who has been listening silently this whole time, as she eats her lunch and tries in vain to ignore the world around her.

[ ] Wat do?

[jk] Dramatically sigh.
- [jk] Throw an arm around Sayaka.
-- [jk] Break into a musical number about worrying about a first date and that it's no big deal.
--- [jk] Wonder why no one else joined in.

[X] Ask your muggle friends/girlfriend if they want to join in on the meeting as well, considering Rin's gotten Magecraft material for Hitomi and Sayaka and the fact that Rin wants to meet Hitomi
[X] Get through the rest of the school day and meet everyone back at your apartment; inform Assassin of this beforehand, partly so she isn't left out of things and partly to make sure nobody is poisoned while the meeting is going on

Just a copy and paste from the last vote, nothing to see here. :whistle2:

EDIT: Forgot to have Homura invite Madoka/Sayaka/Hitomi to the meeting; added it in.
