1. Three 'n's in Trunnions.
2. Again, whatevs on the Abrams being a medium.

Medium WWII tank is generally under 30 tons. The Abrams is 72 short tons(M1A2), The heavy Tiger I was 60 short tons.

That said, given "leveling effect" and "scared grunt who's been deliberately scared that his armor probably won't protect him", acting like his tank is more Sherman than Pershing is likely to keep him alive longer, and therefore in the fight longer.

IE fight as though his tank is a Sherman - keep to cover, or at least concealment. Arrange your tactics to assault the weak sides of the enemy tanks. Don't count on single shots to neutralize the enemy armor. Etc...

2. There really isn't a 'post-partum' distention like you're writing. Diastasis recti isn't that large.

Of course, he wrote "pre-partum" rather than "post-partum" - IE she was just about to give birth, but hadn't yet.

3. I get the feeling we missed something, intentionally or otherwise. This Abyssal is suddenly dead. Why and how?

I was thinking that the marines did the killing. Possibly an air strike. Something that should have been investigated. But, well, we have the body of a mother of demons and the creche of her youngest children. I'm willing to bet that they were killed by our hands, and ain't that going to give our boys nightmares for life? I can understand the call for thermite.

Oh really?
post-partum distention.
Marvin, you need glasses.

And the attention span to scroll down one post more.

You really don't need to be an ass about it, Always Late. You could have just pointed out that the author answered the question, and quoted theJMPer's answer.
If it was just the pre/post mixup, then I'd have just stuck a smiley on the glasses comment.
Missing the very next post answering that question? That's a verbal Gibbs slap. There's no excuse for missing it.

... they always were in red. I have not edited the post, as you can see by the lack of tiny 'edited' text at the bottom right. You're the one who has not paid attention, not I.

I'm not colorblind. They weren't red when I originally loaded the page, and when I went back the red was glaringly obvious. And the edited doesn't show up if you're quick enough. That said, sometimes there's oddities.

No one can beat Jane in a tank!

Jane: Using my Admiral power you guys are to eat this cookie! *takes out a tray of cookie*

Considering how Xenomorphs reproduce, when a facehugger attacks, a shipgirl is just going to inhale that aggressive sushi, then ask for some antacid.

The Face Huggers blood melted through approximately three decks, and badly melted a fourth of the Nostromo. It's probably an even scarier horror movie for them.

Those were internal decks of a civilian freighter designed for space operations, not landing. Maybe an inch of steel, total. It might give a shipgirl an ulcer.

Besides, my interpretation s funnier.

So since a lot of Abyssal steel has been sunk, anyone feel like guessing some the new USN ship girls we'll be seeing soon?

I think it will be
1. a USN Carrier - a couple of lights - author has said no Fleet carriers.
2. a few of USN Cruisers - heavy or light
3. ALL of the Fletchers - they basically killed an abyssal island, who knows how much tonnage that equals?
4. a Battleship - i feel like we have quite a few USN BBs, so i wouldn't expect another one

Nah man. It doesn't matter what you want, this is America. You get more destroyers.

Cruiser? Nope, just Fletchers.
Battleship? Fletchers with a Benson on top playing FCC
Carrier? Murderball of Fletchers throwing Clemsons at things.
Submarine? Mahan in a swimsuit.
Heavy Cruiser? Allan M. Summer holding up a pair of Fletchers
Destoryer? No, just a box. Inside? Catapult rated to throw Gearings.
