@Simon_Jester: The Personal section of your plan says 4/4 dice used but only allocates 3 to Private Investments. Did you intend to leave one die fallow (which would cost the 30F you projected) or use all four (which would add +10F to the cost)?

EDIT: Never mind, I (well, grimely) found the post where you said you only wanted to use 3 dice.

Is that before all of the dice modifiers or after?

IMHO, you can link a critical failure-success in education to a low throw in the census, in the style of "all the people from the census left to correct the failure in the educational system"

It is better we do the ullitarian option for it to tick off some Paranoia

The ones who where put there on bullshit charges are let go sons of korhall like minded are given over for duke to use because we the Qplayers know

We gonna need that extra manpower against the zerg in the future

The worst of the worst can stay there because that will only bring headarchs

Also, another note, we'll have to slow-walk doing Augustgrad Phase 2 as much as possible. Well, not as much as possible, but for a moment I was thinking about a plan to blitz it on Q4 to have two phases done in one year... but this would keep us from being able to use Vardona bonuses to save 1-2 dice on the Vespene Gas.

I think if we can afford it, and we might be able to, a single Free dice on Personal would probably not be remiss. I have an idea for Nephor Unions (two dice), Criminal Ties (one), and then two dice (to be safe) on one of the lower-DC other options.

I suppose I could do Unions, Ties, and leave a Dice Fallow, but that feels kinda one-note.

I can't help but burst out laughing at this after everyone was all like "Simon, why don't you care about Paranoia, Mengsk is going to kill us?"

In fairness to everyone, this has a lot to do with blind luck of how the dice played out, and the criticisms of my original plan draft were valid. But here I was all braced for like +25 Paranoia and instead... this.

In all fairness, our rolls are cursed on that specific project.

Next turn 2 dice on T& and 3 on Census I think. Yes, on "average" 1 dice just barely finishes TR, but we tried to get cute this turn and it didn't really work out.
Just watch us roll an 80 on the first die and blow through the project completion requirement next time. :p

No kidding. At this rate I'm tempted to vote for TRUST just so we have enough legbreakers to make the Department of Prisons fear for their kneecaps.
See? This kind of thing is why I don't consider TRUST an unreasonable choice.

They will fear briefly, then mourn.

Something along those lines seems reasonable, but what do you have in mind for the last two?

Others already found this, but to confirm it, yes, the intent was to leave the fourth Personal die fallow.

We now have only one turn to finish this if we want@Etranger to keep our bargain. That's going to need all our service dice and several free dice if we want to be safe.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we promised to have it done by the end of the year, giving us the 2507Q3 and 2507Q4 turns to complete the census.

Am I mistaken, @Etranger ?

You're not wrong. After rereading I realized it's turn three not quarter three so we do indeed have two more turns to work with. My concerns regarding it's completion before then remain however.

I suppose I could always renumber the turns so that you started on -1 instead of 1, in accordance with Mengsk's deal. But yes, you have all of Q3 and Q4 to finish your end of the yearly commitments.

If we can afford it, this would be a great 2 dice investment.

[] Fringe Worlds: Divert Supplies to Independent Settlements [NEW]

E: Yep, we could afford it. 20 F for Unions, 15 F for Criminal Ties, 30 F for Divert Supplies, out of 75 F total.

So, barring anomalous results from the critical successes, and making the following tentative assumptions:

1) No actual +Resource boosts, making this pessimistic, but in a way unlikely to cause real problems given the depth of our cash reserves.

2) Cost reductions in major projects from the SCV plant, the Nephor reconstruction, and other factors, are not accounted for, making this pessimistic.

3) Flesh Out The Remainder of the Bureaucracy is another +1 non-Personal die per category, like the action that came before it...

4) Giving everything a +15 omake bonus if needed for completion, which is optimistic for the chances of some projects if we don't have enough omakes.

Tentative draft. This is very much a work in progress.
