Hey guys what makes you think that rushing the farmsteads are going to actually solve any problems? Because the problem on Tyrador is this: Transport. Not Nutrition. And without transport, interstellar or local, we can't export food from Tyrador. So the food situation can't actually improve much until we do Tyrador Reconstruction 2.

Hey guys what makes you think that rushing the farmsteads are going to actually solve any problems? Because the problem on Tyrador is this: Transport. Not Nutrition. And without transport, interstellar or local, we can't export food from Tyrador. So the food situation can't actually improve much until we do Tyrador Reconstruction 2.
The farmsteads will help to address housing and employment on Tyrador, though; they've been explicitly called out as having this effect.

It's not a super-critical project and I wouldn't even consider giving it two dice if it were in, say, Heavy Industry where the stakes of competition for dice are higher. But within the relatively small pond of Environmental projects, it's the biggest fish, if we're judging in terms of "how many people can we benefit quickly with this fish."

Well, it's tied with Korhal Regreening, because regreening Korhal is important now that we live on Korhal and don't want all that windblown radioactive dust accumulating in crevices in Augustgrad and microwaving good ol' Chuck.
 
I think the real reason its being worked on is that its already got progress and we are finishing off something that is near done anyway.
 
My caution against the "Productive Forces" is probably strongest against its personal section. Starke could probably use three dice to be more certain, since of all the places to gain paranoia, having Mengsk looking into our relationship with Starke seems... pretty problematic, to say the least. I would also say that it has somewhat less of a chance to complete SALOME this quarter, which wouldn't be a good thing, though that's more of a "slightly less ideal" element.

As a note for people doing math posts, there is a slight error in my plan. Brontes: Orbital Cleanup (Phase 2) [Reconstruction] should be out of 300 progress, not 200. It reduces to 200 if SCVs complete.
