Attempting to Fulfill the Plan MNKh Edition

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
If we got to 20% CapGood/150% consoom I suspect y'all'll shut down any attempts to build more bus factories with "but we need ALL OF the consumer goods" or something. I really want to build more of those, as a balance to the car factories we're inevitably going to be building this plan. Don't want our urban planners to get too used to cars being the most available transport method. But if I can get a promise we'll do the buses anyway I can accept that split.

I think bus plants are gonna be soft-mandatory given the general MNKh Quest community's terror at the idea of anything that gets close to the possibility of USA-grade car obsession, so we're good there.

Indeed. But my worry is that by giving ourselves the 150% CONSOOM target along with a tiny CapGood target, that the Quester's fear of car-centric development will lose in a clash against their other fear: failing plan targets.

Technically we can't ever get USA-tier carbrain since nobody in the MNKh is malicious enough to build Suburbia, but getting merely seriously defeated in the War Of Automobile Aggression instead of being forced into unconditional surrender is still not satisfactory.

The American automotive industry can suck on our extensive high speed commuter rail network and rationally planned residential areas.:p

The good news there is that Buses count as Capital Goods, and are one of the big things Voz wants to use to make the Capital Goods target.

Basically, 20% Capital Goods is Buses + Rail + Plastics.

Well, here's a list of the other candidates when the choice first came up.
Thanks for that reminder. Ehhh none look obviously superior, Korolev sounds cool but I'm not sure we'll have the resources to really make best use of him and neither him nor Chelomei sound like they're worth losing Glushko's "excellent" organization capabilities. Looking at the subsequent posts, there is some discussion of Chelomei wanting nuclear thermal rockets and that sounds totally radical, but realistically we're not getting those in the 1960s anyway. Not worth screwing Glushko over for.

Right, if Voz himself is backing them, you've convinced me.

Wait hang on is there even difference between Cybernetic MNKh and GTTWLF?

However, I can see the value in going all-in on ConGoods and sacrificing CapGoods to do so. As such, here's an approval vote:

Makes the army angry but eh, oh well. Hopefully we get dedicated rocketry funding to replace them.

Would rather not go for the 150% consumer goal. It might be too much.
