"You know at this rate Aegon, your going to either get me killed or yourself killed. And honestly, I don't know which is worse," Jon stated as he sat down at one of Gulltown's many taverns. "And shouldn't you be in Summerhall counting all the gold?"
Aegon smiled. "There was a change of plans. I'm heading north to see Aemon."
There was a small cough from the other patrons as the other guardsman were waiting anxiously. "Why?" Jon asked.
"That's my secret, unfortunately." Aegon replied. "I believe you want to know what this meeting is about."
"I'm listening your grace." Jon stated.
Aegon sighed. "Aerys has been having dreams."
"Dreams? What nonsense do dreams have to do with anything?" Jon asked.
"Because he has predicted an assassination attempt on my life, and drew it." Paper unfurled as Jon saw the scene. He examined it closely and remembered the rumor of the Blackfyre plot. The Symbolism was there, in very well drawn detail.
"Coincidence." Jon stated skepticism all over his voice.
"Mayhaps… but if it's not?" Aegon replied.
"You want to stake the future on a prince's dreams?" Jon asked.
"One action guessed correctly is luck, a second time, coincidence. A Third time? Prophecy. We should not just ignore them if they are nothing, especially if it may bring us victory against our enemies." Aegon replied.
"Yes, and I know enough stories about trying to change the fates of others, and all it does is bring equal or greater tragedy," Jon stated firmly. "They believe themselves invincible, for they know their destiny and how to avoid it. The only destiny we have Aegon, is the one we make for ourselves."
There was a pause. "Just look at this then."
He revealed another drawing, this one far better and more detailed than the last.
It was a Stag fighting a dragon in deep water, with a falcon fighting the sun, a direwolf destroying a rose, and a trout biting the heels in the stream.
The dragon was wearing ruby's on its chest, with the stag beating it with its hoof.
"What is this?" Jon asked.
"Aerys saw something in his dreams that we can no longer ignore," Aegon replied. "For far too long, the Great Houses of Westeros have played the game of politics to further their own ends. Someone sits on the throne, and everyone wants it. This kingdom has nothing unifying it, nothing except an Iron Throne."
"What are you planning?" Jon asked.
"Something great Jon… Something that may truly prevent something like what Aerys from ever happening." He replied.

Aegon didn't know why, but his words felt hollow as he said goodbye.
