So none of the Stormlords voted for Rhaella? Only asking because it said many of them voted for Steffon which sounds like a small amount voted for Rhaella.

Hoster didn't do his speech. So did he stop once he heard our speech? What was he gonna do?

He was about to do something stupid and open up the floor to other potential candidates.

Other candidates? Who else was there? Sounds like the other candidates were very far from the succession.

Was his plan to try and support a candidate to become more powerful or make openings to have a better position to make deals with Rhaella and Steffon?

They could be in personal union with the crown,they dont need to be unified given the absolute monarchy type of government that the seven kingdoms practice(if you want examples austria-hungary-bohemia,england-scotland-ireland,Brandenburg-prussia-kalmar union,poland-Lithuania,poland-hungary,hungary-bohemia)

There were none, he thought he could have made another LP or capable member of the nobility take the throne.

..... That was very dangerous and stupid because it is him making other candidates show up which would of made Rhaella and Steffon and other lords not look greatly at Hoster.

Yeah Hoster would of had trouble with making deals if another candidate stepped up.

Like I said, he wanted to be able to make some deals under the table so it would be favorable for him.

    I went over the Region reports and checked the chapters, so I think that this is relatively accurate. If anyone sees any mistakes, please let me know, I was having a bit of trouble keeping everyone straight!

    House Arryn succession is going to be very interesting. As I see it, there are two options- remove Arstan & Rhaella's line, and make Alyx/Alesander the direct heir. Arstan and Rhaella's kids become heir to the Iron Throne/Dragonstone keeps and not the Vale, except in the event of Alyx/Alesander's death. Option two would be to keep the Vale Paramountship in Arstan's line and entail it to a younger son that he and Rhaella would produce. I've seen Alyx/Alesander's name spelled both ways, is Alyx meant to be a nickname?

    As far as I know, Tywin's wife has not yet been mentioned in the story. As the Reyne-Tarbeck rebellion went rather differently than canon, it is possible that Kevan Lannister is not betrothed to Dorna Swyft.

    As far as I know, the name of the woman that Rickard Stark married has not yet been named.

    With all members of House Targaryen who bear the name either dead or in the Night's Watch, the House is as good as currently extant in the male line. Arstan & Rhaella could also take the Targaryen name upon their crowning and revive the house, I suppose.

    I don't think it's been mentioned if Hoster married someone besides Minisa Whent, or who the woman that Brynden married was named.
