Frankly we're going to have to keep options open. I won't make the assumption we can have our cake and eat it too.

What's more important to you, keeping the Vale or making Rhaella Queen?

Everyone wants to rebuild Rome, never questioning that hey, maybe there's a reason it fell in the first place. All I know is that who ever wants to rebuild that old empire is some fucker in Essos. If we're truly going the TWSITD route then who knows, the threat may be coming from the doom itself.

I stand by my decision, I trust dad to keep the Vale stable and raise our brother well.
 
Personally think we can be lord of the Vale while making Rhaella Queen. We aren't personally going for the Throne. Thats a big deal. It would be going against our rights to just give it up. Rights are a very big deal and it is our right.

You could always ask the Ironborn to do it for a price, they're pretty good at that stuff.

But there is also the problem of succession. We only have a daughter right now.

Now onto the whether or not pushing forward our wives claim would mean we'd have to give up our position as heir to the Vale, that really depends on the inheritance laws in Westeros and that can only be answered by Magoose. The inheritance laws in Medieval Europe were a fucking mess and differed from place to place.
 
I mean Rhaenyra was the heir to the Throne while Laenor was heir to house Velaryon and no one asked him to change his name or give up his claim.

The Ironborn are good at raiding cities, what I want is for us to begin razing cities, and salting the earth after. Cause you can't restore the empire if the successors need restoring first, and you can't restore the successors if you leave nothing to restore.

I don't usually advocate great violence in quests and games, but this league of super evil has angered me like nothing before, our friend and his family, dead, innocent civilians depopulated, and our family attacked and forced to the forefront of this mess as possible claimants to the throne. I am livid.

No, they just decided to use Mongol Tactics to devastating Effects on a local scale. However, considering that they only destroyed one city, instead of the entire seven kingdoms, if we find out about them, they've done fucked up.

But that won't happen unless you dive balls deep as an international man of mystery, like your father before you.

How about uniting the Crownsland and the Vale through their children(Thou unlikely to happen without a stiff resistance from other Lord Paramount)?

Like I said, combining the crownlands and any other kingdom without an administration that is at least pre revolutionary France will not be happening, at all.
