Potential ideas for new "worlds" to encounter in Exploration, for ilbgar123:

Runeterra (League of Legends): The hextechs could be interesting to study, and I am curious to see how the Fields of Justice would work in the warhammer galaxy- keeping champions alive, no matter their injuries, seems the kind of things that deserve some serious studies.

Azeroth (World of Warcraft): Have the Burning Legions be changed for Chaos demons, the horde by warhammer Orks and the Dragon Aspects be either Old Ones experiments or Eldars fucking around during the days of their empire and it could work.

The species of Mass Effect- we encountered the quarians, it wouldn't be hard to bring in the others.

Harry Potter's world: make it a randomn civilized planet whose psykers decided to go to ground and there you go. (Some of the "magics" of said worlds could be very useful- potions for examples)

The elementals nations: have the shinobis be psykers.

Overwatch: once again, a randomn advanced world could work.

The Avatar's world (Aang/Korra): Someone mentioned good warp entities- well, the Avatar could be that, hiding from Chaos by jumping from host to host.

Fairy tail's world: magicals people be psykers. Simple.

Legend of Zelda: The Golden Goddess are "good" warp beings, who watch over Hyrule, and Ganon is a sorcerer turned demon?

The Witcher's world: again, magical be psykers.

For when bad rolls happen, have the bastion meet xenomorphs.

Or the monoliths from Dead Space.

Depending on good/bad rolls, we could have the world of F.E.A.R. Good rolls Alma Wade's birth is felt by Seras, since Alma would be, without a doubt, EXTREMELY powerful, and she arrives soon enough to ensure Alma grow up mentally stable.

Bad rolls? Adult Alma. With all that would mean in the warhammer galaxy...

Thoughts? Suggestions?

are you going to bother to figure out if any research would get discounts from better computers and/or sensors?

@ilbgar123 Quick question, do we/the Crystal Deity get any sort of bonus benefit for hitting certain amounts of Grade 10 Crystals? Like, is there some sort of bonus for having say 10, 25, 50, or 100 Crystals maxed out?

Also, is there any chance of a Crystal Perk in the future? I think that would be pretty cool.

Are we going to start out at rank 1 of the SL with the Deity or do we start higher do to the whole parenthood thing?

Yes.

Probably.

Higher, probably 5.

*wants to spend turn 16 maxing out Crystal Diety SL but Emperor likely to restrict time with Crystal Child for reasons*
I mean, I can imagine him restricing how many Crystals to Max out, but I figure he'd probably not bother with how much time we spend with the Deity, cause if it's evil we are screwed anyway and if it's not evil then us spending more time with it ties the Deity closer to our side and the side of Humanity as a whole and makes the Deity more likely to be a boon and less likely to be a problem.

At least, that's my Point of View on BiggiE Smalls thoughts.

Figured that if it's going to be on the side of humanity he'd think that as the best humanity has to offer, he should be the one to mold the god into a desirable entity.

The Emperor hands a list of Crystals to make.
Glancing at the list, Serras is dumbfounded; "Father! You can't be serious!" she yells.
"I am." He replies.
"B-but... Crystals of 'Fluffiness' and 'Kittens'?"
"Indeed." The Emperor replied, thinking of his pet cat, dead some twelve thousand years.

We must do this, as a cat person we must make our crystal dragon fluffy and adorable...as long as it's not in battle mode then badassery happens!

Okay look, I don't want the Emperor to have anything to do with the crystal gods development at all. He's a great leader yes, but a father figure, or someone to look up to yeah I don't think so.

Ones that can and will put up a fight! :D

Maybe ones influenced by C'tan shards?
Or psyker resistant hostile polities? More Ork Worlds? Or fiercely independent Chaos worshiping worlds?
Xenomophs and Chaos!Alma Wade isn't enough for you guys?

Seriously?
Also, there is already a world influenced by a C'tan.
It's call Mars...

A planet populated entirely with Blanks.
That could be useful.
How many natural 1/20's would we need for that to be possible?
Why nat1? It's not a bad thing, since they are all immune to Chaos...

No, Chaos! Alma Wade isn't good enough for us. We're strong enough to handle even that AND Xenomorphs, probably. The C'tan Mars thing is just a rumor for all intents and purposes. Natural ones because meeting a planet full of Blanks might give Serras a seriously awful headache.

Depends if she is in control of a space capable polity- that might make things problematic...
Especially if she's got training in seer abilities by choosing, say, Tzeentch as a patron god.

I am almost CERTAIN that it is a canon!fact.

I was thinking of using the blanks to create our own order of the Sisters of Silence...

Luther

When Luther first saw Serras Salnus - She had come to Caliban along with The Emperor see her Brother firsthand - He thought that she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. Not in a way that he lusted for her, no, such thoughts were inappropriate. She simply reminded him of his wife and daughter, two of the most precious people in his life that he had lost long ago. It was only his duty as a knight that had kept him going.

After The Lion had knelt before The Emperor and vowed to serve him, Serras immediately came forward and embraced The Lion, much his, everyone's and Luther's suprise. It could have been a trick of the light, but Luther could have sworn The Emperor raised an eyebrow. Afterwards, Serras came to him and they both conversed for a few minutes. With a warm smile and a hand on his shoulder, she thanked him for raising and protecting her Brother and promised him that his actions would not be forgotten.

He doesn't tell her about always being overshadowed by The Lion and that its begun to infuriate him. He doesn't tell her he had to step down from his position as Grand Master because The Lion had been nominated by his fellow knights and that it stung like nothing else. He doesn't tell her that when that monstrous beast from The Knights of Lupis was finally slain, all the knights had cheered for The Lion while he was drenched in the creature's blood.

He doesn't tell her any of that. For some reason this shamed him. Is that prehaps due to her presence alone? Or is she subtly putting this sense shame into his mind? He'd rather not think about it.

Luther had sometimes wondered how different things would have been if Lion El'Jonson had been raised with both a sister and mother. Now that possibilty had become half-true.

For himself, The Lion and the sake of Caliban, Luther didn't know if that was for better or for worse.
Zahariel
To say that he was impressed was an understatement.

The city he saw from out the window was beautiful. Where what used to be small cramped ampartment blocks were now large towers that could house thousands.

The technology of The Bastion was like something out of a dream. Teleporters were being used as common transport, small cuboid machines could produce any and all foods imaginable, and that was only scratching the surface!

The lifestyle was completly different aswell, Humans and Xenos living together, psykers learning how to control their powers, learning the dangers of the warp and to recieve soul stones of all things! The Bastion was a safe haven for a galaxy that hated and feared them.

When he had learned of how psykers were treated throughout the galaxy he realized how lucky he was. On Caliban he was treated with a modium of respect. Here on The Bastion they treated him as if he were a normal person. It was unexpected but...

I welcome this form of aceptance. And I hope that one day all psykers recieve the same.

The door beside him opened and a graying Celesian entered the room. Judging by the black and yellow robes he wore, he was a Diviner.

"Librarian Zahariel, pleased to meet you. Are you ready to recieve your soul stone?"

Zahariel smiled. "Ready as I'll ever be."

Astelan

"You summoned me Lady Serras..?"

"Greetings nephew. I'm sorry that I called upon you while you were in the middle of performing your duties, but I wanted to talk to you before my Brother took control of the First Legion, he'll probably rename it soon. The First was a bit short anyway."

It was given to us by The Emperor, its a perfect name, you know nothing Serras Salnus.

"...what would you have of me Lady Serras?"

"I'd like to offer you a chance of training my sons in the art of negotiation."

"My Lady?"

"I've been reviewing your training through the Planetary Conquest simulations. When you were picked as the leader, your first choice of action was always diplomacy in each simulation. Please tell me, why was that?"

"Permission to speak freely My Lady?"

"Of course, speak your mind."

"War is too bloody and costly and should be avoided if possible. A war will only generate a great deal of resentment, in the aftermath it will be slow to achieve unity at best or recieve a violent rebellion later down the line at worse."

"A strong point nephew. One that I wish for many of my sons to have. With your guidance I believe you can impart your skills onto them. My sons may be built for war, but I believe that they were made to be more than that. "

Your sons were not made first, I have better things to do than waste my time with those who are beneath me.

"My Lady, I cannot abandon my brothers nor my duties for the sake of another. My life is forever tied to The First. I cannot teach your sons."

"Astelan, I dont take any offence to your refusal, but are you refusing because you are loyal to your brothers, or is it because my sons are beneath you and are not worth your time?"

What?!

How does she-

"I'm a psyker incase you've forgotten. It's fine if you dont have a true answer for me right now, you may take your leave. But please remember, there is nobody beneath you Merir Astelan. It dosen't matter if we were made first or last, we all stand together against the horrors of the galaxy."

And you're too naive.

You-

You have to be.

Cypher

He had heavly underestimated Thernus's security. It had taken him sixteen whole weeks and much patience for him to evaide it all, but it had been worth it. Within the bunker, he stood infront of the pod that once housed Serras Salnus. It was almost the same like those of her brothers, almost. There was just one glaringly obvious difference.

There was no Legion Number anywhere to be found. That alone made him come to many conclusions. But they weren't important.

Cautiously, he raised a hand towards it-

His fingers did not feel any surface, instead the whole pod flickered when they did. The whole room was suddenly bathed in red light.

*ANNNGGGHHHHHHH-ANNNGGGHHHHHHH*

Hmm. A near perfect hologram, clever.

While others would have panicked, he merely grimanced. It was no matter, he would simply try again.

With a quick whisper under his breath, there was a flash of light. And then he was gone.

A/N: So, heres one of the omakes I said I would write. Here are the thoughts of the most notable Dark Angels of 30k. Luther would be unsure, Zahariel would like The Bastion, Serras would try to get rid of Astelan's overly-massive sense of self worth because she believes everyone can change and Cypher would most likely try to find out everything about Serras.

I hope you all liked it!

The above thoughts are good and all...but the thing is our geneseed is 100/1 female dominated...so yeah...it's going to be daughters with some sons in the mix, not many.

Depends if she is in control of a space capable polity- that might make things problematic...

Again another reason to be happy to meet her, kill her and stop Tzeentch from having a collection of Garden Worlds. Yeah Dragon of Mars is canon. With how psychic our planet's people and army is we might need to mandate Balance Runes to keep the psykers and blanks from killing each other.
And I'm not saying we don't let the emperor talk to the crystal god, just you know limit their time talking as much as is possible and not be considered rude.
I'm with you there if its possible. The Emperor is too much of humanity over everyone else while Serras is okay with aliens on the basis of acting like decent non torture/murder happy people.
Sounds nice, a mix of warp crafted tools created by some lost alien race used to fight against xenos creatures and warp daemons.

@Travler66
Nice short Omakes! Just one correction:
"Or is she subtly putting this sense of shame into his mind?"
