Don't worry, he's only using Daemons with similar characteristics now, which aren't as bad as actual Heartless, but are easier to control without steeping himself in Darkness.

Well, that explains why the Chaos Gods are so desperate to get those crystals. Seras has invented the only real way to fight the Darkness.

Yeah, that's about how I figured the whole Darkness thing was going before Malal decided to cut it back. What I'm curious about is to how Malal's stuff looks now.

Anyway, enjoyable read Ilbgar123. Thanks.

Understood, no Nothingness Crystals because Nothingness Crystals need Darkness Crystals which would unleash Kingdom Hearts Darkness creatures onto the 40k universe.

Ehhhhhh

That was a placeholder, but Nothingness has... weird requirements. The best pair to work it would be Light and Darkness, but Serras is avoiding the second half of that like the plague.

Gm did say that it has weird requirements and that Light and Darkness is the best pair to work it with. Best implies that there are options, something for it to be better then. It seems like there might be another pair that we could possible get Nothingness out of, even though the pair won't work as well as Light and Dark.

so yeah....we need light crystals asap.

heck some holy and magic crystals would be hilarious!!! can you imagine the amount of shenanigans with seras meeting the emperor and seras using magic in place of the warp in some simple demonstrations and the emperor just face-palming because of this?

Was already planning on it. Trust me, if Big E allows us to go all out on this Crystal Deity thing and the thread gives me permission to make a plan with enough Crystal for us to be able to push Crystals to Grade 10 with only 1 action in future turns then Holy and Light and Magic are definitely on the agenda.

Though I imagine magic has a decent chance of working off of the Warp.

This is from KH so probably not
I mean, we have no proof that KH Magic doesn't work off of their version of the Warp. No proof that it does either to be fair, so we can't really do more then guess until the GM makes a decision.

It is important to remember that crossovers are 100% adapted, something's are changed to make them fit better into this quest, so KH magic being changed to work off of the Warp would make sense even if it's not necessarily the case.

All I'm saying is that it's too early to cross it out entirely.

In that case, after our scheduled meeting with the Emperor we could experiment with opposites and see what combination of crystals produce a Nothingness Crystal. Even so I'm not entirely sure if a crystal that actively makes the surrounding area more Warplike would be beneficial.

What would happen if there is a home/territory or law cristals? Better control of the warp perhaps?

Weird though . I know that warp work with lots and lots of shenanigans. But the space that the crystal are in perpetual movement in the material (since planets and etc move in space) so that spread the effect?

I suppose it would create more stable warp space and would cause people to adhere to government systems more strictly. IIRC one of the reasons why posters in the thread were against making Law Crystals was because we'd be brainwashing the masses. Since planets are constantly in orbit the crystals area of effect should follow the planet as well.
Damn that was so edgy I think I just cut myself.
Just like Malice's followers eh yo!

So, Noncombatant military is next on my list, but which should I do after that? I've got two more ship ones, but I'm trying to spread them out, so the choices are really down to:

Draft Bill:
-The whole two-years-of-service thing. Could introduce it to help keep recruitment up.
-Pros: Greatest direct impact, first of it's kind.
-Cons: It's a law proposal, we may not be ready for it (should probably wait until after the bellows are up)

To Boldly Go:
-Humor and adventure, introduce some potential hero-level units (at least as a group) and make a lot of jokes. Plus, a semi-crossover!
-Pros: Units, boosts our navy a little bit, the most upbeat.
-Cons: Not the most serious

A Taste of Vengeance:
-Internal workings (at least a little) and some internal strife. Nothing serious.
-Pros: Serras gets to be badass.
-Cons: Serras has to be a badass, the situation forces her.

I like trouble in paradise stories.

I want a Star Ship Troopers recruitment ad but for the Bastion!
