[X] Go straight north. You've waited ten years to finish a project; you can wait a little longer if it means confusing your parents.

[X] Travel west. There's nothing there that you know about, but as your parents have treated you like an uninspired idiot, that might just mean it's dangerous. You can live with that. Probably.

[] Travel north-northwest, to the fortress-slash-grave of a failed Blackburn candidate.

[] Travel east, to the home of the Holtzers.

I'm happy with pretty much all the options... Blackburns are great BTW. They're like murderous Addams family. Everything is fine once you're part of the family!

Ah, but if he only ever bluffed on important things, it'd mean that people could tell something is important by the fact that he's bluff, right? It's like the quote - "You talk about the bayesian conspiracy exactly as much as would be expected of a non-member of the bayesian conspiracy."
The issue being you can never tell when he's bluffing, because his face and voice stay the same the entire time. Or it's words on a screen.

So, much as I like the Blackburn connection, given the increased possibility of encountering Empowered looters, I think I'd rather not go NNW. And storming the castle is right out. As such...

Free fortress? Yay.

Also, I am amiable to an appearance vote, though I would be content without one.

Onwards to adventure! I've got no problems with any appearance vote, though I don't know when would work best for it.
Not an option in Stellaris, sadly. And the snails are cute. Which makes them even better as ruthless galactic overlords, IMO.
But butterfly people, and starfish people! They're clearly superior overlords.

Yeah, but the snails have a piece of grass in their mouths, like a stereotypical farmer. I am a huge sucker for contradictions between appearance and personality, so the adorable snail farmers ruling the galaxy with an iron pseudopod appeals to me slightly more than the butterflies. Thanks for telling me what mollusc that one I couldn't ID was based on, though.

As for an appearance vote, I am neutral on the topic.

I like 2 and 3. 1 looks too old, 5 too young, and 4 too carefree.

I like 2 and Hat 2 the most...

And vote:

Either works for me.
