    • hi i just binged this all of a few days ago and i know this thread has 81 pages so its not lsike i can really add much to the "gushing about the story" end in text

    the characters were so great that i really wanted to draw them
    i took some guesses about fashion because a few of the characters are probably intentionally underdescribed but if i missed any blurbs feel free to let me know

    might or might not do more in a future, i do everything on a whim

    (slightly anachronistic because chiro didnt have the new haircut yet in ch12 when this was idealised to happen but shhhhhhhhhh)

    I never pictured any of the characters looking anywhere near like that from reading it. My mind kind of just skipped over the whole bat ears and green hair thing, really.
     
    I won't say I ever quite pictured Superbia looking like a Courage the Cowardly dog villain, but it definitely works.

    Tbh, Temperance and Ida are trading places there.

    Ida is idiotcoded about her personal life and silly things and Temperance is idiotcoded about "I can fix em" and then not telling her friends and allies vitally important information for their future survival.
     
    At least as far as I've gotten, (I still need to finish the back half aaaaa) I've been picturing Mr. Noir looking like some mix of the G-Man from Half-Life and Agent Smith, (complete with saying "CharrrleTON" in the same tone as "Misss-TER AnderrrSON" because same transphobia metaphor vibes) but a little more like, deflated and dead inside than either, making the transformation into BIG HAM VILLAIN GOLDEN DRAGON BIG BAD even more of a complete vibe whiplash.

    Rereading a bit, given he has glasses, maybe an evil fed-core version of the dad in Coraline.

    Oh, yeah.

    Mr. Noir wants to present himself like Agent Smith but just doesn't have the vigor and energy.
     
    Glad that Chiro is finally trying to improve herself rather then wallowing in self-pity. Now she's only the second largest failbat in all of fiction, not the first.

    just wanna check does anyone remember any physical description of ida or is this an excuse to read the entire fic again just to see
    because i have a mental image but i cant for the life of me remember what it was based on

    The talk about the flag collours has infected my mind so I also did a check to see if "purple circles" where mentioned anywhere, but the search engine turned up nothing.
     
    iirc Chiro's ponytail was held up by a scrunchy, from ch14
    my question is
    is this a Scrunchy of EnvyTM that was copied from Inessa? is this the most roundabout way to deduce that Inessa has a scrunchy too?
     
    It's The Red Scrunchy that serves as the crown of the Alpha Heather.

    ...Actually it'd be fairly funny character design to give Inessa a green scrunchy and Chiro a red one to add to their complementary palette swap shtick.
