[X] Plan Building The Foundation

This plan has us work with the Union, we can't leave this hanging around for too long.

There is also that if we continue to get workers for the plant without addressing Lenny and Carl the train of though goes to station replacement.

So we really need to address them 1st and then take futher hiring actions for the plant.

Some of those guys actually know the ins and outs and working from the plant, reminder that Homer was The only fired employee when the germans bought ir from Burns.

Old wounds( unfortunately non canon)
This is just a little something made with hope of helping ol Jasper find his old friend whoever they may be, though that said as always hope you all enjoy.

Old Wounds

It was a chilly evening in the Springfield retirement home and one of the resident seniors was currently tossing and turning in their bed as memories of the past entered his dreams.

BOOM!

"Stay sharp you guys!" A younger more fit Jasper Beardsley yelled to the rest of their platoon as they made their way through a deserted destroyed town keeping beady sharp eyes out for any enemies as their gun shots and explosions going off in the distance, "I don't like this." A form grumbled behind them with Jasper sending the figure that seemed strangely like a living shadow a grin, "Ah come on now don't tell me you're getting cold feet."

He told the figure with them seemingly snorting, "Hardly." They said pointing their gun warily around, "I just got a bad feeling...something about that entail didn't seem right." The figure told Jasper who merely rolled their eyes, "This war made you paranoid."

He told the figure as he shot them a grin, "You'll see we'll get this mission done and be back in time for a early thanksgiving meal~" He said giving a chuckle however as if to laugh at his challenge and words in the next minute things went wrong

BANG! "ArG!" Yelled one of their platoon squad mates as they felt their arm get hurt with the gunshot and cry of pain seemingly acting like a signal for the ensuing attack

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

"ITS A AMBUSH!" Jasper yelled to the others as they all rush to take cover and for what seemed like a eternity to the younger man it was pure chaos with guns shots and explosions echoing all across the abandoned town, "TAKE THIS NAZI SCUM!" Jasper yelled throwing a grenade over his cover and a few moments later he gave a smirk as he heard the resulting explosion.

BOOM!

"Hehe that's what you get for messing with USA~" He said with a laugh that quickly fell and turned into a dark look as he spotted a sniper a ways away aiming at his friend! "LOOK OUT!" He yelled only to be too late as the sniper fired managing to land a critical hit on his squadmate, "NO!" rushing out of his cover he aimed at the sniper who tried to hit him as well only for Jasper to prove a quicker shot as he gave him a headshot.

But after seeing his shot land it's mark he paid no further heed focusing all his attention on securing his injured squadmate dragging him to safety in a abandoned house as the rest of his platoon covered him, "Arg..you crazy bastard." His friend said with a slight groan as he placed against the wall, "Should have left me out there."

"Can that talk soldier." Jasper said with a snap sending them a stern glare, "No man left behind." He said as he started to apply on the field medical attention to his friend who merely laughed, "Hehe that kinda talk gets a man killed." He told Jasper who merely snorted, "Maybe...but not today." He told the man with a nod and amused smirk however in the next instance things went dark with the last thing he heard being a loud mighty

BOOM!

"Arg whats that!?" Jasper yelled back in the present as he jerked up awake in a cold sweat breathing heavily for a moment before calming down and giving a slight relieved groan, "Just a dream...or rather." He swept away some of the sweat on his forehead with a grimace, "A bad memory.."

At that statement he got up and made his way over to a picture resting on a desk a picture depicting a proud WW2 platoon standing ready to serve and protect their country and he found his eyes being drawn to the figure standing beside his younger self and as he picked up the picture frame he traced the picture with his fingers frowning as memories of old assaulted his mind good times and bad as he fought and bled alongside his platoon, his friends.

Many of whom have passed on but their was one soldier, one friend in particular whos ultimate fate still remained a mystery, "No man left behind." Jasper uttered softly in the dark room as he narrowed his eyes with a determined gleam entering them, "Time to find out what happen to a old soldier." He said hoping that they were still kicking or if worst came to worst than had lived a long fulfilling life at least.

But one way or another he'd find out what became of his old friend and member of his platoon.

You know, thinking about it, wonder if Nancy Green and Mona frequented some of the same circles, specially when Nancy decided to go againts Mass Dairy Factory Farms to save the Greens farm.

Like that farm would be up on Mona's and his group hit list and wouldn't be surprised they did it alongside Nancy after some nagging, hell wouldn't be surprised that in this timeline Nancy took the hit for Mona when she went into the slammer.

Dunno just had the idea about the Greens moving in to springfield as a favor from Mona for that time, since thanks to the canon omake we got confirmation that they were kicked out of Big city.

Mostly cause I want Bart to get more loyal friends outside Milhouse (guy can be a turncoat really quick), besides.

No one on this thread will deny that a friendship between Bart, Cricket and Webby would be pretty sweet and awesome.

Besides that gives the green a second round againts Chip, since by the end we will end up poaching Gloria and well that guy will probably hold a vendetta againts us.

I am all for this idea sounds fun for sure~

Also anyone else think after Springfield repairs are done there perhaps should be a option to set up some kinda celebration? Survived the DOME and what the government threw at them, Burns has lost all his power (though he's scheming something, and repairs are all done.

Even with factor of Burns and Bob out there all those seem like good reasons for the town to throw a celebration don't you all think so?

Moving to Greener pastures.(canon!)
Well decided to go with the idea, now to wait if it is declared canon or not.

Moving to Greener pastures.
Nancy Green still couldn't believe in the situation her family and she were in.

It was nightime outside a hotel they were staying at, everyone was sleeping, but not her and she still wished that this was a nightmare that she would end up waking up soon.

That you technically lost pretty much everything because of one petty guy was a very bitter pill to swallow.

That bastard of Chip pretty much ran them out from Big City, the house demolished and he had somehow found out about their old home and farm and also bought it out to demolish them and make another one of his stupid wholesome food stores, not even for profit, but just to spite them, leaving the Greens pretty much homeless.

She stills remembers the smug look the fucker had when he ran them out, oh how much she wished to throw everything away and kick all of his teeths out of his mouth and to make sure he needed plastic surgery for when she was done with him.

Oddly enough she was pretty sure Alice also shared that sentiment, probably one of the few things they would come to terms with, but sadly they couldn't do it, no, that son of a bitch had pretty much the entire force of the city on his pocket and they couldn't even touch a hair of the rat without getting thrown into the slammer.

Both of them couldn't afford that, specially now that the kids and Bill needed all the support possible.

Bill still tried to act like always, trying to act tough for the kids, but she knew better, she was married to the man after all that he was hurting, he was hurting a lot, losing both the house and the farm had been really low gut punches, all those memories just gone in an instant.

The kids on the other hand, they took it the hardest, both of them had pretty much lost all energy, she had been comforting Tilly in her sleep as the young girl sometimes just couldn't stop crying from all that was lost and poor Cricket, just shut himself down, he wouldn't get out of the car unless he needed to do something like eat food, not even Phoenix could get them to play with her.

Bill, Alice and her tried to cheer up the kids every day, but it was getting more difficult each day that passed. the money was drying up, they had to ration food everyday and they still couldn't find anywhere to get back up, it was hard trying to find someone who needed farm hand these days, specially with pretty much all of the farms getting automatized, they wouldn't last more than some months at this pace.

Nancy let out a bitter laugh as she looked at the starts, it really starts to dawn on her that despite making that attack on that automatized farm, even with all the help she got that day, the Greens farm still went out of bussiness soon after.

But as the memories continue, there is one act she doesn't has any regret over and that was taking the fall for the people that helped her that day.

No one knew the truth of that day after all, only her and those who where there that day know it, her family still thinks that she had done the act on her lonesome self, that was what she told the police after all, but the truth was that she covered for other people that day, people that were rebels like her, rebels that went againts authority, she hadn't know them for long, but to say that they were good friends was something she would said without doubt.

She had met them some months ago before the stunt, Mass dairy factory farms had setted up not long ago and their influence could be noted as Bill's farm was already going into the red numbers weeks after they showed up and money was becoming a concern.

They where some of the only people that still went to Bill's farm to buy some of his hard earned crops, something about not wanting any of that processed crap Mass Dairy was selling.

And they couldn't be more grateful, they helped even if a little Bill's farm to stay in bussiness, hell one time Bill had broken his hand and couldn't get the crops done on his usual schelude, so when they came back they had expected that they would just go to another farm for their supply's.

Instead they stayed and helped Bill and her keep the farm going while Bill recovered.

That is where she met Mona, the woman was clearly eldery when they met, but not as much of a mummy as Alice that is for sure, but to say that they were more alike would be too on the nose, it was a short lived friendship, but a welcomed one for sure, both of them could tell they were rebellious spirits in a way, but also loving and caring mothers.

Mona would sometimes play with Cricket and Tilly during those days and man they sure had fun those days, you would have rebellious conversations with her from time to time over lunch or dinner and she would even mention that she is a mother herself and that Cricket reminds him sometimes about her own son.

Thinking about it, it is no wonder you jumped straight into their bandwagon once you discovered by accident their plans to sabotage Mass Dairy.

Bill's farm couldn't stand that competition anymore and seeing how they treated the animals just made you more determined to help with that plan.

None of them saw coming how many hidden alarms those guys had.

They needed to escape, but the police was already getting closer.

She knew none of those guys could go to the slammer, they were already pretty old, they would be eaten alive by the penal system.

So she went by herself to the police, just to give them time to escape, as a final thanks for helping her family.

She wonder where Mona went after that, Bill and her never saw her again after she went into the slammer.

No visits, no registers, nothing, is almost like everyone dropped off from the grid.

''Cannot sleep either eh?'' Nancy almost jumps at the eldery voice suddenly talking to her

As he finally notices Alice Green at her side with a decayed look.

Nancy sighs and responds 'Yeah, just too much stuff on my mind, I still cannot believe what happened''

''Neither can I, but that is the hand sometimes life deals to you, you don't have to accept it on the other hand and can rage too, trust me the moment I get my hands on that son of a bitch I will kick him so hard even his decendency will dissapear from the future'' Alice said crearly resigned but still enraged by what Chip had done.

''Just make sure to leave something for me to maul Ma'' Nancy said jokingly.

That seemed to get a little laugh out of the old woman ''No promises''.

Both of them continued seeing the stars for a little while, before Nancy asked Alice '' Wanna go check what if we can find money in my leather coats pockets for tomorrow breakfast? kinda want the kids to get a good meal and see if it cheers them up''

The old woman shrugged but went along with Nancy, both of them may had their differences, but they could leave them aside for the moment while the kids and Bill needed them.

As they got to Bill's truck, they started searching in the many coats Nancy had gotten over the months after her release from prison, hoping to find at least some more cash to get them trough these hard times.

What they didn't expect to find was a cellphone with a note attached to it.

''Nancy, what in the circles of hell is that'' the old woman said to her ex-daugther in law surprised to find something that may net them some cash, since the thing didn't look that old.

Nancy stood there for a moment, thinking where the hell had she gotten this cellphone, she doesn't remember ever buying this model, as she opens the note to read what it says.

IF YOU EVER NEED HELP CALL ME TROUGH THIS PHONE
SIGNED: M.

Now more questions where gathering on Nancy's head, help and someone named M? just where the hell did she got this thing.

Then it hit her, it was just when she was being released, one of the guards of the prison had given her a farewell gift, apparently someone had dropped it and told them to give it to her the day she got released, she must had put it on her pocket and completely forgot about it once she saw Phoenix running at her that day.

''To be honest Ma, I really don't know, but, if the note is to be believed, this may give us a new opportunity, I just hope it works'' Nancy said as she turned on the phone that still had charge left despite all this time of not being used.

She went into contacts and marked the only number on the phone as she prays that whoever gave it to her answers.

As the tone marks, the call finally goes trough and she heards a ghost from the past ''Hello who is speaking?'' an eldery voice talks.

Nancy may not known her for long, but she stills remembers that voice as clear as day ''M-m-mona is that really you? it is me Nancy'' Nancy asks nervous, she hadn't expected her old friend Mona to being the one that gave her the phone.

''Nancy!, it is good to hear about you, how have you been dear, how is the family?'' the eldery woman asks in a worried tone, obviously never expecting a call from Nancy of all people.

Nancy just sighs, not being able to hold back anymore ''I would wish to say we are doing well, but I would be nothing but a dirty liar Mona, we lost the house, we lost the farm, we were ran out from our home by this petty bastard, money is running out and I don't know how much longer me a my family can stand this'' Nancy said trying to not cry, she needed to be strong for her family, meanwhile, Alice was making her kneel to give her a hug and try to calm her down.

At that the phone just stayed silent for some time before Mona finally responded ''Nancy, just what the hell happened, just who would be that evil, I doubt that snake had any bussiness in big city'' Mona said and Nancy could notice the venom emanation from Mona's voice at the mention of a snake.

Nancy having calmed down a little just answered ''If I told you the full story we would be here all night, but I got the phone and note you left me and well, me and my family are in dire need for help at this moment, please Mona, I don't know how much longer we will last at this pace'' Nancy said begging her old friend.

Some more seconds which feeled like hours passed, before Mona answered once again ''I don't know how much help I can give you at the moment, but I will try to move some strings where I am staying and see if all of you can get a residence here or at least some arrangement to give you a temporary roof, it will take a while considering the state of the city, but come to Springfield, I will call you when everything is ready and tell your family, then tell me where you are and I will give you indications on how to arrive here, you won't find it on the map, but that is probably for the better, less eyes that way, if the guy that ran you out is anything like the one that I know, then he won't rest until he sees a grave with all of your names in it'' the eldery woman said.

Nancy couldn't believe what she was hearing, finally an out, a route to maybe finally start once again with her family, the only words that escaped her lips at the moment were ''Thank you'' as a tear went down her eye.

She swears she could feel the eldery woman smile at that ''Heh, what are friends for, I still owe you big time for what you did for me and my group that day Nancy, hell I still feel I will never be able to pay you in full, but I hope this at least helps you, just sleep for now, tomorrow is a new day''

Nancy finally smiled in what feel an eternity ''I will Mona, I will, have a good night and take care'' at that she finally hanged up the phone and checked the port entry, luckily it was the same as one of the phones they had, so they could charge this thing up for when Mona eventually called up.

At that Alice finally speaks up once again ''Ah don't wanna know what all that was about Nancy, but after everything Springfield doesn't seem like a bad idea to try and settle down, specially if what that friends of yours promises is true'' the eldery woman said.

Nancy surprised said ''Wait you heard all that Ma?''

The older woman smiled smugly and said ''Yep, I bought the best earpiece I could after all just to hear even when a whippersnapper tried to badmouth me, besides now that you mentioned that place, I remember an old war buddy that lives there and owes me something''.

Nancy was surprised at the mention of the last part, Alice was many things, but one thing she always liked to keep close to heart was her time about the vietnam war, aside from mentions here and there and Alice old war stuff she never liked to talk about her experiences during those times.

At that Nancy finally pops the question and asks ''So what does that war buddy owes you?''

Alice face changes into a determined one at that ''Just one simple thing and if that idiot thinks I have forgotten about it then he needs that brain of his checked by one of those quack doctors, I will make sure he pays me back that cupcake even if I have to drag him into a kitchen to make me one''.

All over the way on springfield one Seymour Skinner suddenly felt a chill go down his spine, almost as if an old demon from his war days had awakened and was coming for him.

Then he just got up and closed the window, this night sure was a chilly one.

AN: Well here an omake featuring Nancy and Alice Green, tbh haven't watched much of the show, so this took me a while to get going, but man do I feel good about this one, so yeah the greens are not in a good place at the moment as Chip made sure to leave them in the ruin, Bill, Tilly and Cricket being the ones that took the most damage, and goes to show that while the 2 green women may have their differences, they can put them aside if it comes into helping their family, so ran with the idea that Mona and Nancy had been short term friends during some months a little after the farm that ran out of bussiness Bill farm had setted up and helped her pull the heist on it, Nancy sacrificing herself and taking all the blame as none of Mona's group would be able to survive jail really, but Mona never forgot Nancy and left her a little gift for when she got out of prison, a gift that is coming in handy now, as for Gramma stuff about being a vietnam veteran, that is canon actually, Alice Green was a war veteran and still has some PTSD to this day and considering she has a canon datebirth per the wiki, the only war she could had served on in quest canon was vietnam, so to say that she and Skinner may have history together is likely, either way I doubt Mona would tell them to come to Springfield inmediatly, since she would need to move strings to even give the Greens a chance, so if this thing goes canon makes it so that we need some proding from Mona and that we finish fixing the city first to try and recruit the greens and tbh they would come in handy as hero units, specially for the lemon threes, also as I mentioned before, Chip is totally a mini burns, either way hope you guys enjoy.

I... LOVE THIS! 💕 Really hope it makes canon status because that's some great lore building right there.

Plus (and this goes for other omakes you've done) you've done a spectacular job not only capturing the characters but conveying the appropriate emotions through your written words.

I really like the touch with Mona history with the green, and that touch with Nancy and Seymour was hilarious ~ 😆

Hope this makes canon think the Greens will fit right in Springfield.

While Chip something tells me a reckoning is a coming for him hehe~ Hmm actually know he isn't a king (But than again neither are we) but if he becomes a official enemy I'm curious if his actions will be added to the rumor mill chapters.

I Will take the +10 to criminal action.

We Will probably need it for Monty once we find the old snake.
While the plus ten is tempting think we should be alright just as long as we don't set off a booby trap or free some ancient horror that Burns has locked away.

It wouldn't surprise me if Burns has made some literal deals with devils to live as long as he has.

That aside going with unlock personal action as my reward of choice. 😊

Also glad you like the omake and once again awesome to be canon! 🥳

Music from the past and a look towards the future
This is just a little something made with hope of helping ol Jasper find his old friend whoever they may be, though that said as always hope you all enjoy.

Old Wounds

Well decided to go with the idea, now to wait if it is declared canon or not.

Moving to Greener pastures.

Taking the liberty of compileing avery unlisted and as-of-yet unawarded omake while the rest of the co-qms are asleep
once again, thank you guys so, so, much for making these, we're all hella touched by each and every one of these omakes

Mixed Emo(na)tions(canon!)
Another omake! I'm finding Mona to be very inspiring to my muse, so here's an attempt on my own spin on Homer's reunion with her, as opposed to how it went in Simpsons canon.

Mixed Emo(na)tions

Homer fidgeted nervously in his seat, a steaming mug of cocoa in his grip as he looked over at a woman who filled him with so many conflicting emotions that it was a wonder he could look at her at all.

Mona Simpson looked much the same as the last time he'd seen her; grey hair, wrinkles, and a smile that was happy and sad at the same time. She too had a mug in her hands, pushed into them by Marge before she'd retreated to the kitchen to give them a moment to talk. The kids had made excuses to leave as well after happily greeting their grandmother, perhaps feeling the awkward tension in the air once they'd realized who had arrived at the Simpsons household, and Homer was glad for it.

Homer started as Mona spoke up for the first time in a couple minutes. "You know…When I first heard that your father told you I'd died I was so angry at him, but I spent a long time thinking about it and I honestly can't figure out what I would have wanted him to tell you instead."

He couldn't help but agree; sure he remembered the absolute heartbreak when Abe had told him that she was dead, and he had his own beef with his father over the years, but he couldn't imagine how much more it would have shattered his heart if Abe had told the unvarnished truth: "Sorry Homer, your mother loves you but not enough to stay."

"It…Probably wasn't the worst parenting decision he ever made," Homer allowed, before pushing past the bitterness that threatened to well up inside him at those memories, "I take it you heard about the business at the plant then? Since you're back in town I mean."

Mona gave a light nod before taking a sip from her mug. "I can still hardly believe it; Burns was a devil on the shoulder of Springfield for decades. To hear that he'd lost everything, in a poker game to your father no less…It doesn't feel real yet."

On that Homer could agree, knowing that however much they might argue, fight, or leave in the night and not return for decades, the Simpsons could be united by their contempt for Burns. "I don't mean to be blunt Mom, and it's great to see you again, really," here he struggled to find the words for a moment before pushing on, "But I have to ask, how long do you plan on staying in town?"

No one could call Homer particularly perceptive, but even he could see the brief flinch Mona gave as his words landed, and the part of him that still sort of resented his mother for leaving couldn't help but cheer, something the rest of him pushed down on with everything he had.

"I'm honestly not quite sure," Mona began, voice hesitant as she seemed to try and look anywhere in the room but at Homer, "I definitely don't plan on leaving so abruptly as I did last time. Perhaps a few months…Maybe longer? That depends on, well, if you're willing to have me around?" She managed to look at her son again, hope in her eyes as she waited for his answer.

For his part Homer was conflicted. Of course he wanted his mother back in his life, especially after so long apart, but… "I'd love nothing more than to have you in my life again Mom," he began, resolving himself to say what he needed to say, "But how many times have we gone through this before? You turn up out of the blue, and it seems like you stay just long enough to make me hope things might be different before you leave again and leave shattered hearts in your wake. Mine and Dad's."

To hear credit Mona didn't try to deny his words, though they clearly hurt to hear. "I understand. And while I don't know what the future holds I can tell you without any falsehoods that I genuinely want to stay, more than anything in the world. All I can say is that I don't want to hurt you, either of you, again, and that I will do everything I can to stop that from happening." She tentatively reached forward, placing a gentle hand on Homer's knee, giving it a soft squeeze as she smiled at her son.

Part of Homer wanted to let it end there, after all this was already more than he'd gotten from his mother any of the other times she'd come around, but there was still something he had to say. "...It might be a while before I can really trust that," he admitted, only to be surprised when Mona's smile widened.

"Well then, I suppose I'll have to work to earn that trust again," she agreed, and Homer found himself smiling as well, hoping that perhaps his dreams of having his entire family together again weren't so impossible after all.

I hearby declare this canon!
I offer you either a +10 to a homer action or a personal to reform the be sharps?
You know what.

Give me the personal to reform the be sharps.

A flat 10 is Nice and all, but the reform gives us the chance to have both a sober Barney and Skinner as temporal units seeing as we are going to hire Apu.

Probably give us some Bonus with Homer seeing as he still loves those barbershop quartet days

And also give us a income Boost if we host concerts for them.
