Well had another omake in mind, cannot believe I forgot these 4 where pretty tied together during their early days.
Music from the past and a look towards the future.
Your name is Homer Simpson and you cannot remember the last time you passed trough that door, it really has been months since you had come to this place, but well, since the dome is no longer there, may as well start with tradition once again, you just hopes the guys are still not mad at you for the little stunt with spider pig.
You then opens the door to your favorite night place, you are still surprised how quickly Moe managed to rebuild the place as soon as the dome was down, but then again many in the city where mising the good old taste of a duff beer can.
As he enters the place, you can see that Moe hasn't had a busy night, since there is only 3 people here right now, your old friend sCarl and Lenny are drinking happily from the mug, and your old friend Barney is also there and you are surprised to see him sober and drinking a coffee mug, while Moe is cleaning one of the mugs.
It seems they haven't noticed you just entered, so you prepares yourself and hope this goes okay ''Heya guys'' you says in a amicable tone.
At that everyone looks in his direction and respond in the same tone, Moe even preparing the mug he was cleaning with a fresh batch of duff beer ''Hey Homer, glad to have you back'' the 4 guys say in unison.
You surprised ask ''You are not mad at me?'' still incredulous you take your usual seat and accept the mug from Moe.
''Nah, well sure at first all of us were furious, but then you came back, saved us from the bomb, destroyed the dome and got rid of that evil goverment guy'' Lenny said in a calm tone as he took another sip of his mug.
''As for me, you are still one of my best clients Homer, so as long as you pay your tab on the future we won't have trouble, but well since you saved us, well the first tree beers of the night are on the house'' Moe said as he takes another mug and starts cleaning it.
''As Lenny said we were mad sure, but man did that dome do me wonders, haven't been this sober in a long time and I hope I can stay like that, been getting some good freelancer jobs helping with the repairings and plumbing, so I am raking a good amount of cash and finally paying Moe my own tab, in some months I may finally move out of the apartment and get a good house for myself too'' Barney said in a cheerful tone as he took his coffee mug and drank from it.
''Yeah Homer is all under the bridge now, besides, now that Burns no longers hold any power in the city the repairs have been going great, the materials are actually affordable and helps that your old man has been donating and helping with the repairs itself now that he owns everything Burns had, really makes you wonder how miserable this city was when the old coot was in charge, either way now we just need the better working conditions at the plant and we know for sure we will be doing great in the coming months, maybe it will actually be fun to show up at work'' Carl adds taking a big mouthful of his mug after that talk.
''Oh right, gotta remember dad now owns pretty much everything in the city, how has the syndicate been going actually?'' You ask your friends in a curious tone.
''Eh, still no much progress sadly, as Carl said now that Burn is gone we can finally start asking for decent working conditions, but your father kinda been busy with the repairs at the moment, but I heard he will be sending Flanders for opening talks with us soon'' Lenny said.
Wait that was new ''Flanders, where is Smithers?'' you were surprised to hear that your sanctimonious neighbor was now working for your dad as the vice-president of the plant.
''Eh beats me, apparently guy quit when Burns got deposed, but to be honest who cares, guy was Burns bootlicker either way and with Flanders we will probably get a good deal'' Carl said happily talking about the syndicate situation.
You on the other hand have kinda found feelings, on one hand Flanders, on the other probably a bigger paycheck once the deal is done, meh the latter was better to be realistic, besides Flanders was now your father problem not yours.
As you went back to your sweet and nostalgic drink, you heard the door open once more as you see a very familiar Hindu man enter.
''Apu, what are you doing here, shouldn't you be working at the Kwik-e-Mart?'' you said in surprise at seeing the store owner here.
''Oh, Hello mister Simpson, sadly no, all the stores across america were closed as they were no longer profitable, so I am currently unemployed, came here to rest a bit from job hunting, specially since I am waiting for a call to see if they hire me, applied already for the job, but they told me they will have more spots open soon, so I am hunting just as a plan B, besides I really don't want to be with the octuplets right now'' your friend Apu said in a tired tone, you wonder how tired he was as you could clearly the bags under his eyes.
''Okay then mister you either order a beer or help Barney finish that Coffee supply of his or you get out of here'' Moe said in a annoyed tone.
''Give me the coffee please I am really on need of it'' the hindu man said in a pleading tone.
At that Barney takes out another coffee mug, puts some coffee and hot water in it, sliding it across the counter to the Hindu man ''Knock yourself out Apu, hope you find job soon, if not you could join me on a gig I have tomorrow at the Bowl-A-Rama, my uncle still need helps repairing it'' Barney said trying to give an offer to the hindu, because he sure needed it.
''Oh thank you Barney, sure I will take it, I doubt they will call me this soon, so I will work for as long as I can with you'' Apu let out a smile as he finally got something to do, sure it will be temporary, but the hindu is happy to take what he can.
As you continue taking your beer, seeing Barney and Apu talking together, you cannot help but remind yourself of those old days where you 4 used to sing together and smile at those times.
You are just missing principal Skinner right now, hell if he actually shows up you swear you will ask Moe for the mikes and invite the guys for a song just for old time sake.
''Hehehe, sure like that would happen'' as you take another sip you heard once again the door open.
And you see the person that enters ''Do'h'' you said as you recognize the person that entered, that person being Principal Skinner.
''Principal Skinner, what are you doing here?'' Barney ask surprised to see the principal of Springfield elementary school.
''Well, saw that the place was open and to be fair, I need some time away from Mom, the dome really put her in a needy mood and I do need some time for myself, but since the school is not open yet thanks to the repairs, well I said to myself that maybe catching up with you guys may not be bad alongside a beer'' Skinner said in a tired tone, the man not having the same energy that he always had due to the school not being open yet.
''OH NO YOU DON'T, look I would love to get your money principal, but I still remember the last time you got drunk here, so please just ask Barney for a cup of coffee and take a seat, if you don't please get out'' Moe said in a annoyed, but polite tone to the school principal.
''Okay, okay, not need to get into that tone, can you pass me a cup too Barney?'' Skinner asks, at which Barney just nods and takes out another cup, pours coffee and hot water and passes it to the principal.
As Skinner starts to enjoy his cup, you finish your first mug of beer and start to think, well you did swear mentally that you would do it.
''Oh what the hell, hey Moe do you still have the mikes?'' you ask the bartender, which had a surprised face at your question but nodded as he went to his backroom to search for them.
Barney was the first one to notice your train of though and asked you directly which also brought Apu and Skinner attention to you ''Hey Homer you aren't suggesting-'' he cannot finish the sentence before you refute him.
''Come on Barney, it's been a while since the four had been together hasn't it, besides I am feeling a little nostalgic, after everything that happened, why the hell don't we get the new springfield a start with a bang?'' you said as you see Moe come out and setting up the mikes knowing already what you were thinking.
At that Apu thinks of it and gets up of his seat ''You may be onto something mister Simpson, we had our downs during the last months, but to be honest, we may as well look into the future, after the dome things can only go up from here'' Apu said with a little more energy.
Skinner goes close to him and takes another of the mikes ''You know what? let's do it, a little music may just be what I need and you are right Apu, specially with that old coot of Burns out of town, Springfield may finally have a shining future ahead of it now that he no longers hold any power over us'' the principal said, still bitter with memories about the oil rig the school lost thanks to Burns.
Seeing as you 3 were up for it, Barney also gets up and takes a mike ''Well since you guys want to do it, may as well, I just hope you remember this stuff Homer'' your old friend gives you a friendly verbal jab already knowing your answer.
You for sure could never forget those lyrics, even drunk, after all it was your little maggie that gave you the idea that day as you also get up and take the last mike as you see Moe go out with a sign saying (The Be Sharps on live, two drinks admission) ''Of course not Barney, it is time for the Be Sharps to start this new springfield with a bang, FOR SPRINGFIELD AND THE FUTURE!'' you said taking the ideas from the words Apu and Skinner said.
Everyone in the bar even Moe follow alongside Carl and Lenny and repeat your words ''FOR SPRINGFIELD AND THE FUTURE!''
At that Barney test the mike and gets ready ''

Then Skinner follows with his bum bum bum bum, then Apu and you join in singing your quartet classic Baby on board.
To say that night Moe had a busy night would be putting it lightly, but you don't really care, it was nice to be back in Springfield with your family and friends as you can only hope those words do hold meaning and that Springfield can only go up from here with your father technically owning everything.
But this night you don't care about any of that, the only thing in your mind is singing your heart out alongside your friends.
AN: Well this took me a while to writte, but man cannot believe I forgot the Be Sharps, one kinda tends to forget that aside from Barney, Homer also has past story with Apu and Skinner, so I said to myself what the hell and lets writte something wholesome, also goes to show how pretty much Burns was the man that always brought the city down, like the city would be so much better and probably and even more beautiful place if it wasn't for Burns black as a black hole heart, also yep, Barney is sober since I doubt he had any taste of beer during the lockdown and hope it stays that way since he would be a pretty good unit at future, so hope I got everyone in character and enjoy, also I had the headcannon that Doof owns a vinyl of the Be Sharps and Baby on Board is one of his favorite music tracks from the days he had to take Vanessa to school much for the later embarrasment, had planned to add a section with that, but felt like too much out of left field.
