How do we defend against the effect while coming back, though? That and ensure the rest of the ship's propulsion systems can be functional again, along with protections and other safety systems before trying to land back onto Vale.
I assumed this part meant Cynric himself knows how to protect against it:How do we defend against the effect while coming back, though?
As in something similar to the way he used multiple types of wards to protect the ship during interdimensional travel. It's fortuitous that you discovered this outside of an emergency scenario and now that you know exactly what is going on, you are confident that you can keep it from happening again... so long as the beings that put it in place aren't actively watching.
I would love to fly around Middle-earth in "Morgoth's Herald".rofl:Can't we just keep renaming the ship into politically inconvenient names depending on where we're at? Like for now: the "Fist of Emperor Ironwood" or "Scourge of the Four Kingdoms" sounds nice.
Sure, but I just like the symbolism of the name with the reversal of fall and rise. Plus he's a Breton and the Bretons traditionally come from the region of Daggerfall within Highrock because that's the area closest to where the Elves settled and started blending the lineages.Erm... Cynric isn't involved with the city of Daggerfall... Like... At all. I don't think that name will fit.
FTFY.Sure, but I just like the symbolism of the name with the reversal of fall and rise. Plus he's a Reachman and the Reachmen traditionally come from the region of The Reach within Skyrim because that's the area closest to where The Reachmen's Ancestors settled and started blending the lineages.
Reachmen are just Bretons that never fell to the worship of the Divines.
Ah, but the Reachmen and orthodox Bretons cultures have a bit of enmity for one another. High Rock Bretons consider them savage, daedra worshiping hedge mages at best and don't welcome them in their fiefdoms. People tend to resent that sort of treatment and Reachmen are no different in that regard. Cynric might not be the average Reachman and has used his people's Breton ancestry to his advantage, but I don't think from his established character that he would name a tangible result of his efforts after a place that would have had his mother hanged.Sure, but I just like the symbolism of the name with the reversal of fall and rise. Mostly. The difference starts with how orthodox Bretons are the product of generations of Derenni laying with their human slaves who then went on to primarily breed among themselves. Reachmen are a mix of those same master-slave relations who went on to mix with human tribes that never got captured, Orsimer they met in the Jerral mountains fleeing persecution for their 'wild magics', mortalphilic daedra, and members of the other races who joined them over time.Reachmen are just Bretons that never fell to the worship of the Divines.
It's even funnier because you could do that to almost any similar situation in TES. Eg: Vvardenfell is where Veloth lead the
Fine, fine. Howabout:Ah, but the Reachmen and orthodox Bretons cultures have a bit of enmity for one another.
Like them all. The second is very appropriate for the culture and possibly for the character if you guys ever intend to go retake the Reach from the Nords/Empire/Dragons. I also particularly like Spriggan's Return, not so much for meaning behind it, but because it definitely sounds like what someone from TES would name their ship. The Reach's Revenge
Reachman's Revanchista
The Briarheart
The Spriggan's Return
