So each study action only increases the total by 1 per time spent, which means it's going to take forever even if 4 actions were devoted to it each week or something. Does Aura Awakening need 100/100 to use, or is it possible at lower levels, but high higher risks of something going wrong?
You are mostly correct, though there are chances of getting multiple points from certain actions that I won't be specifying. You can try to use it before 100/100, but the lower it is, the higher risk... from slightly less efficiency, to Jaune's problem, all the way up to nymic destruction, aka complete erasure from existence.
Why not? They're not mutually exclusive, and we've got the whole weekend. Who knows, maybe we'll run into a random Penny or something.
Two more weeks until the Forever Fall field trip, that is also around the time Sun and Penny arrive in Vale.

Edit: I also updated the Character sheet with the effects of Aura Enhancement, so check that out if you want info on that new ability.

Oh... and she's made progress toward learning to intentionally unlock Aura. 1/100, further progress can be made through dangerous trial and error, researching Aura, receiving instruction on the process.

We could probably make significant progress if Louise tried unlocking everyone at Kwama Korp, but "complete erasure from existence" makes me satisfied with book learnin' for now. Arc-y The Arc Boy kinda dodged a bullet there, eh?

Think we could ask someone on team RHPL to unlock some of our core groups Aura? Pyrrha did it for Jaune seemingly offhandedly, so huntress around that age range should be capable. Maybe Pyrrha wasn't as capable as she let on. I like the idea of the seemingly 'nice' girl just casually risking soul destruction on someone she barely knows. It adds layers to her character.

We should bring both teams, and maybe record the incident in our scroll when Pyrrha "Crazy Spear Murderer" Nikos erases poor, innocent people from existence. We should also make sure to do it in a public place, it would do wonders for her self confidence!

I'd hardly call anyone from Kwama Korps innocent, except maybe Cattelya. I just assumed we'd ask Pyrrha and either she'd feel confident enough to do it or not. Psychotic episodes are purely optional.

Then again, she felt confident she could save Jaune from a nasty fall, and we saw how that turned out. Maybe we should just forget about this pursuit and save ourselves future grief. I'm patient enough to wait on Louise learning how.

How dare you slander Cynric's good name? Who the hell do you think you are?

When he landed in a foreign dimension and accidentally killed Louise's familiar, he went to the trouble of reviving them, and even upgrading them later. He took the girl in as his apprentice and taught her magic when nobody else ever succeeded at doing so, and expanded her horizons beyond what anyone ever thought possible for her. When he happened upon an arguing married couple, fearing for their marriage he did what he could to spice their relationship up a little. He went to great lengths to quell terrorists and traitors to their country so they may never harm anyone ever again. He summoned a dremora lord so he could show him new sights yet unseen--and he didn't even keep him on a leash like most conjurers would, because Cynric doesn't believe in slavery. He cured a poor woman's heretofore incurable illness. He helped an immortal woman put her nigh-eternally suffering sister out of her misery. When his apprentice's mother betrayed her and tried to murder her, Cynric refused to abandon her. He helped humanity fend off an alien invasion. When that world was doomed, he saved whoever he possibly could with the short time he had available. He helped those refugees settle a nuclear wasteland, even when he could have just left them to their own devices and travelled to a different world. When he tracked down his wayward apprentice who was lost in another world, he even took the time to make that world a little safer by removing a dangerous criminal from the streets. He revived Raymond's daughter--because that's what friends do for each other. When that world was also doomed, even when he was betrayed by "creatures of Light" (and I use that term loosely after what they did), he still did whatever he was capable of to save the few people he still could. Even in this new world, he's trying to supply employment and affordable food for the destitute, and give them new opportunities where none existed beforehand.

This is a man who lost his own world. Despite that, he struggles to help the people around him whenever he can. He gives and gives, even when he has so little for himself. The man is practically a saint. Cynric has done nothing wrong.

What more does Cynric have to do before you'll be satisfied?

People like you make me sick.

I take it back. Healing Jaune was the best thing ever. Seeing him suffer day to day is brilliant.

Where's Raymond's daughter? I was expecting her to be one of the 4 in the school. But huh, when did the zombie hero show up?

It could be fandom but Pyrrha "Crazy Spear Murderer" Nikos should be having the time of her life right now :) from what I recall she decided to attend beacon to escape her fame and with that goal in mind I think she succeeded with flying colors.

Heck even her attempted murder status will be forgotten shortly with Louise around dismantling people (literally) and just putting them back together later.

Blake enjoys reading right? And after working so hard Louise deserves to have a quiet and relaxing weekend curled up in the library with her cat. I doubt she'll get many moments to relax when the tournament rolls around. Plus she can read more about aura before the library is no longer usable, might as well take advantage of these resources while we have them.

Also we don't really have much to report. Cynric doesn't seem to be the type of mentor to appreciate constant reports of every tiny, inconsequential detail.

Look, Cynric is a great man, maybe even the best man. We should all aspire to be just a little bit more like him (for truly being like Cynric is an impossible feat that only Cynric, and perhaps given enough time, Louise, can fully attain.) but should that mean that we let his mistakes go by?

I say no! With a man as great as Cynric is we should be holding him to even higher standards then those below him are held to.

Do we expect the same from a dog as we would a man? No we do not.

Meanwhile at Kwama Korp, Cynric has been sedating faunus to surgically remove their animal parts and regrow them so that he can test them for alchemy effects without anyone catching on.

Inter-Team Bonding
"No offense, but this is a waste of precious study time." The Schnee said, though that didn't stop her from climbing into the bullhead alongside them all.

Rolling her eyes, the blonde harlot from Vicky's team buckled herself in and said, "Ease up, Weiss-cream. There's nothing wrong with going out to eat with some friends."

"We aren't friends, Xiao Long, we've known one another for a week. That's hardly enough time to form any real bonds even if I was keen on doing so with an uncouth brute like you."

"Is this about that whole scar thing? I said I was sorry, didn't I?"

"What?! No, that is entirely irrelevant to this situation!" Weiss hissed. "I simply don't see the point in going to eat at some restaurant of questionable quality, whose product is something I've never even heard of, in an area of the city overrun by people who would rather stab me than shake my hand... and I'll have you remember that I was the one to apologize, not you!"

While Louise had been staying out of their little quarrel, it having been going on all morning even before she'd gone to fetch them, the mention of possible violence caused her to perk up. Even if the colorless girl was the closest she'd come to meeting a noble in her travels, it wouldn't be worth it to drag some preexisting conflict into Master Cynric's place of business.

"Why would anyone want to stab you?" Louise asked, ignoring Yang's immediate response of emphatic gestures meant to say 'have you met her?'

"Because I am the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company." Weiss answered, earning a blank look from the pinkette. "The company that is constantly slandered and derided for how we supposedly abuse our faunus employees."

When Louise simply tilted her head, the girl threw her arms up in disgust. "You're as bad as Arc!"

"Hey!"

"Shut it, Jaune!" She growled, pulling up her scroll and typing something into it. Holding it up, she showed several pictures of vehicles and properties that'd had fancy looking snowflake emblems marred by claw marks and wolf heads. "The place you're taking us is a faunus infested slum likely overrun by White Fang sympathizers. Those people would probably like nothing more than to mount my head on a pike and bandy it about like some sort of trophy, the savages... no offense, Victoria, you've practically been a saint."

"Uh... Yeah, sure." Vicky replied awkwardly, shuffling her bulk about to try and squeeze in comfortably. "Either way, I'm sure nothing bad will happen with all of us around. Not to mention the owner."

Nodding vigorously, Louise agreed, "If there's anything that we can't handle, My Master would remove the threat easily."

Oddly, Yang started to choke and Jaune's face turned red at her words. Whatever was wrong with the two blondes, it was Ruby that voiced her confusion. "Master? I thought you were like a princess or something. Calling him that makes it seem like you're a slave or something."

"Heiress to the second line for the throne, but close enough." The pinkette corrected the child's blunder, scrunching her nose at the thought. "He's my master in that I am his apprentice in... combat techniques."

"Oh okay, that makes sense."

Still flushed, but having overcome whatever the problem was, the Arc boy asked, "So you're like a ninja? That's pretty cool."

"I think she means more like how my uncle taught me everything I know about scythe wielding, not ninja stuff." Ruby clarified before giving Louise a questioning glance. "Right?"

"Yes, like that. Hinata is the ninja." Louise explained, pointing to the pale eyed girl, who ducked her head in embarrassment at having everyone's attention diverted toward her.

-----------------------------

The rest of the ride and following walk through Vale was spent with the group questioning Hinata on her ninja skills... Other than Weiss, who spent the time discussing Terrorist attacks with Louise, the pinkette reciprocating with slightly modified recounting of the Reconquista's actions. A few groups peered out of the shadows and alleyways at them, but none made any aggressive moves.

When they finally arrived at their destination, Louise noticed that the building had been expanded with more conventional construction in Vicky's absence. An outdoor dining area was built to include an awning for shade and a short fence to prevent entry from anywhere other than inside the building. No new floors were added to the step-like structure, but another storage building was being built next to a dock that hadn't been there when they'd left for Beacon. Also of note was the professional quality sign posted above the wide doors.

"Tyne&Fontaine's Kwama Korporation." Jaune read off slowly. Turning his head to the others, he asked, "What does Kwama mean?"

"I don't-" Pyrrha hesitantly began, speaking for the first time since they'd met up with the others.

Only for Yang to forcefully cut her off. "It's not a word I've heard before."

"It isn't a word at all as far as I know." Weiss added, raising a delicate eyebrow toward Louise and Vicky.

Before Hinata or Vicky could let them know just what horrid monsters the creatures were, Louise gave an insincere smile and explained, "It's a livestock animal from where we come from. They don't survive very well in small groups, so nobody ever bothered to export them before we were forced to leave. It's no surprise you haven't heard about them."

Yang has mostly likely adopted Jaune as a lil brother at this point so its going be hard to get her to change her opinion on Pyrrha unless Jaune forgives her first.

Can we do both? because finding a table shouldn't take long. I also don't think Louise's new friends would approve of whatever work Cynric is doing that we'd interrupt.

You can. Finding a table by itself was implying staying with them and chatting, just like leaving them to Vicky would have them find a table without Louise since they came for food anyway.

This does seem like the best option.
