Would you Distort or manifest EGO?

Ay ay, don't get me wrong.

If the negotiations fall short, I'll immediately write up a battle plan for us.

I literally wrote an in depth analysis of the various attack types and colors in regards to NT.

I am just not sure X can bring enough DPS to kill NT in it's third phase before NT overpower X's durability and regen.

On another note, we need to get Der Fruityshooty's EGO into hand because that things is stubborn. Literally multuple chapters now and not even 1 observation!

I mean...yeah? We didn't do any stuff that would interact with its concepts

No specific targets, no payment, no anguish. We probably need to actually try to get it specifically this time instead of stumbling into it like Blue Star.

Theres a lot of things for us to take care of.

Currently...Hitomi is a bit loss for us so we cant help her right now.

First order of business is getting Der Fruity up to intergration status.

He is bullshit level strong from what we see in Library of Ruina. (Seriously, thats just mass attack gallore) Having his weapons would be amazing.

Just need to remember about the 7th bullet.

Ok, I can probably write a plan to do so easily, which of the girls do you want to kill first? :V

Because that's part of the problem here, Blue Star wanted us to do things that helped socially (and probably for making a cult), so we got it without even trying, because we already were acting in the ways it wanted, Mister *I hate this weapon* wants us to be a mercenary, which isn't really something we can do just like that, of course we don't advance on it. As I said when it was chosen, that abnormality is not suited to our playstyle, and we are seeing it right now with the lack of even getting his weapon, part of me really wants to say *I told you so* at this point.

Hey, no need to tell me about it. I wasnt there for the darn vote.

I would've advocated for P Bird if I was there.

Because P Bird would serve 2 purposes. Winning Clashes. And preventing A Bird from popping into existence.

Because we actually have no idea if abnormalities that arent given a side story are running around freely or not. So its literally just a matter of time before A Bird pops up.

The worst thing is J Bird would be extremely difficult to notice since his method of murder is literally just aphyxiation.

I personally wouldn't try to fight NT with anything less than Paradise Lost here, that, or twilght, and including any of the girls is just asking for them to die, Homura timestop can actually be stopped very easily when you know how, and she's rationing her best weapons for waluigi, her normal arsenal is not enough against a Nothing There that is not under Qlipoth deterrence to weaken it, it would probably just shrug of bullets and explosives as if it was nothing.

To clarify, my tactic for this fight is for Homura to take X with her into the time stop, where X spam Sword That Pierces Despair or attacks of the same level, after which they back a huge distance to repeat the same after the new time stop, repeat until NT won't die. With Sayaka's buff, this is probably the safest way to fight NT. We just have to make sure that Homura doesn't get attacked first. Unfortunately, there is the issue of collateral damage and hostages in the form of Magical Girl Soul Gems. We can win this battle, but the cost can be very high. I'm not arguing that we'd better to fight. It's the "We Can't Win" part that really annoys me.
Although if it were White Night, I would probably think the same way.

As for voting on the last anomaly choice... Well, it's too late to get upset about it. We just have to make sure we do better next time.

This might actually work if we use time stop prior NT notice us. Though if a may add maybe we need to test if we can use lobotomy in time stop. If we can do it we can stockpile grief seed (as many as possible) and use it to refresh homura soulgem without dropping time stop, while we perform lobotomy with NT either to free the MG or reprogram NT

If this was Whitenight, it wouldn't be a fight.

It would be a test of faith. Of which we must hold on to with steadfast resolve.

As sir Hokma would say, all faith shall be tested with irony, it is merely the mission of the faithful to keep on going.

Because when everything feel uncertain, when all hope seemed lost. One can only hold onto faith.

We literally do not have a physical chance in hell to beat Whitenight. And even then the sheer colllateral damage it will cause is literally quest ending.

But in that case. All we can do is hold faith, and keep moving forward. Trusting in the guiding hand of the Quest Master.

We aren't doing it by ourselves but its not a huge pain like you're thinking of it.

It was already brought up that interacting with Kyouko is probably actually completely ideal for filling it, as she has and prefers a more mercenary relationship as of yet.

Hunting a specific Witch or even Abnormality, exchanging payment for services or receiving payment for something are all actually pretty damned easy to get.

And since its Project Moon and PMMM I am expecting Anguish to be inevitably easy clap as well.

since we already so far into the quest can you tell us what kind of perk if we pick ayin, X, carmen, or angela (original body) as a model
Angela would've improved your ability to perceive time, since that was one of the main functions of her construction. Very useful for combat, also would've let you figure out Homura in about half a second. Going full Carmen would've given a big bonus to social and shifted the conflict more towards internal challenges. The Ayin bonus cannot be revealed at this time.

Goddamn it dad.

What the hell are you up to again? Ayin might be a future encounter then...

Wait he isn't T-01-10 right? That thing absolutely cannot be Ayin.

This actually sounds really cool. How useful for combat?

Though I don't really regret the Kali choice, as using lots of EGO would have been much less fun without Traces of Red, I imagine.

And to see the faces of the Library inhabitants if they notice that the Manager now looks like Kali in a labcoat.

It wasn't an option, so I guess it would have been a write-in, but since it was brought up in the thread as a what-if idea, any idea what a Garion/Binah body would've done?

Basically same as Kali I would feel. Since her singularities wouldnt have came with her like how Mimicry didnt come with us.

So super augmented body with a knack for EGO. Maybe the birds would appear even earlier and we would have to deal with Apocalypse Bird instead of Nothing There.

Whomever Homura touches while in time stop mode also starts to move. Attempting the Lobotomy will cause the NT to move too, and we can't afford that. As for grief, we should try to use Clear Seed to remove it. Although knowing Homura, she does have a lot of reserves inside her shield.

Kali: You can't just take my looks! It's damn annoying!
X: I understand. You're probably right. Should I choose Angela as my model? Carmen? Maybe Ayin?
Kali: ... After thinking about it for a bit, I realized that I absolutely fine with your appearance as it is now.

I don't know if it's just for human, but when we perform lobotomy on homura and mami both of them knocked unconscious during and a few minutes after the operation right.
Its best not to apply human standards to immortal constructs born through a woman's blood taken directly from the collective consciousness of mankind.

For all we know using Lobotomy on NT could hyper boost all of its stats like some kind of Light Steroid.

Also, we might not get a chance to encounter NT with Homura in tow. Making plans based on the assumption that Homura will be there to help us is too risky for my liking.

Yeah, Observer has the gist of it. Deliver Sayaka-buffed Homu into proximity, alpha-strike during timestop. Details variable, Mami and X are probably the best choice, with Homura being very distant third.

Whats what we got right now, at least. I don't think X is going to get instantly gibbed if she tries to fight NT, but it still feels like a bad idea.
Going full Carmen would've given a big bonus to social and shifted the conflict more towards internal challenges.
NGL doing the social mirror-twin to Angela's angry lonely hedgehog would've been pretty funny.

Make sure to point put that WE can read.

Actually, since people talked about the first choices bonus, I think we really did get a jackpot when we chose to get inspiration from Kali, who's instincts are *must PROTEC*, for our body, then proceeded to get Knight of Despair as our first abno, with her instincts of *must PROTEC*, there is a strong possibility we wouldn't have had a synchronization that high right out of the gate if we chose some other combinations.

Now, for other combinations that does the same, I think there was:

-Carmen/White Night: let's preach salvation to them!

-Carmen/Blue Star: you call THIS a cult? Let me show you how it's done.

-Hokma/Price of silence: Homura suffers a sudden case of death.

-Angela/Price of Silence: How DARE you manipulate time in front of me?

-Carmen/Burrowing heaven: pay attention to me and only me.

Man, Carmen works with quite a lot of them, doesn't she?

So the question is how many stab does a pale dmg from sword which pierce with despair need to one shot NT
A lot.

Like a lot a lot. Counting just its first form.

2000/(0.5 pierce resistance x 1.2 pale dmg × 50)= 58 times.

And thats just the first phase. The pale swords cant rapid fire and need some time to be manifested again.

Basically, Homura better get paid for it.

There is a giant set of Abnos which are literally just "Story of Carmen traumatized me in a certain way, and this is the physical manifestation."

What I am saying is, a lot of stuff works for Carmen-X.

Hey, not Carmen's fault that Ayin is an ultra mega simp.

Though with how One Bro acts, I dont think Ayin was the only simp in the relationship.

That's the joke.

You know, your remark just made me realize the existence of a new ship for LobCorp I never even thought of:

Carmen/Bloodbath.

This is a match made in heaven. :V (And yes, I am perfectly aware of the fact that bloodbath literally is a representation of Carmen's suicide)
