I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

This is bad time to take an apprentice solely because we haven't finished our windsight research yet. The apprentice will be almost done by the time we actually understand the fundamentals of runesmithing. It's better to wait 4-5 turns until we have a better handle on it to properly teach the new theory of runesmithing. Karstah is different but also not a great time tbh.

Absolutely not holy fuck we JUST got 6 AP please no god no this is not worth it please no holy shit. We just got 6AP.

We've raised more apprentices than most people who aren't Apprentices Georg, our rival, we do not need another ourselves.

One for Karstah? Good! Smart! She could use the experience!

But Snorri's done lots and his Heir is basically already a super-apprentice. Also daughter, but still.

If voting no to Snorri getting an apprentice now wouldn't remove the option entirely, I'd probably vote no. But since it does and I want to keep doing apprentices once a couple centuries or so for as long as Snorri lives, here we are.

edit: it seems that portion of the option was removed at some point, so we don't have to worry about never taking an apprentice again. So we can hold off until we get things a bit more figured out, and after the Dragon Gronti.

Were there omakes around here relating to dwarf and Norscan mythology here? I'm sure I read something somewhere about the human gods learning from the Dawi ones. I think there was also something about them dividing into three groups and one stuck close to the Dawi.

Or am I thinking of something else?
