Can I Have Some Egg-vice?
Eggman sat down at his work desk, thinking about the painful thing that Sage had said to him. He can't even sleep at night, he can only think about those three words. How will he fix this? How can he make Sage understand that he cares about her, but also that what she was doing with her sister was wrong? If only he were good at this kind of thing. Interacting with people was never his strong suit, he is fully capable of recognizing this. He might need... advice.
But from who? If it weren't for the situation, Belle might be a good pick, but this might just further frustrate Sage. He needs someone who is good at swaying people. Someone who can deal with the unreasonable temper tantrums of others. Someone who has sway over children, or those that are childlike in mindset. Someone who has the patience to deal with even him
He needs someone like... Her! Yes, she's perfect!
That person right now is brushing her teeth, doing her nightly routine. After all the work she has done, all the stress with the world, she deserves a good nights sleep more than anyone. Spitting out her toothpaste, she enters her bedroom, appreciating the large, comfy mattress she bought. She had splurged on it recently, what with the... dreadful nightmares she has been having. Even her anxious riddled self can go off to dreamland in this lovely bed.
She lays down, brings her covers up to her neck, and turns off the lamp. Now, to just count some sheep. Preferably sheep that are less strict and actually easy to get along with.

Something feels off. Opening her eyes, she is greeted by a malevolent mustached man."Hello Jewel, I need advice."
"DON'T KILL ME DOCTOR EGGMAN, PLEASE I BEG OF YO-" her voice is silenced as the man holds a finger to her lips with a glare that could freeze the ocean itself.
"People...! Are trying to sleep."
Jewel can only nod, terror gripping her throat so tightly that now she isn't sure she could scream if she even tried. The large bodied human removes his finger and pulls the covers up to his own chin. "I had an argument with my daughter a while ago."
"S-sorry, what? Daughter?" The mental image of this man performing the act of creating kids is perhaps one of the most mentally scarring things she has ever imagined.
"Yes, my pure AI daughter Sage, who I programmed." Jewel lets herself relax a tad. Thank chaos. "Sage got angry with her sister Belle for disagreeing with somethings in the past which I suppose could be considered war crimes. Which I understand, but Sage tried to gaslight her, which isn't how sisters should behave. I mean, we've been friends for a while now, I'm sure you understand how I feel about gaslighting."
"U-Um, no, I d-" the shaking bug tries to speak but is once more stops with a finger pressed to her lip.
"Of course you know, you're a great friend, Jewel. Now of course any good dad would do I had to punish her to show her the error of her ways."
"Sir, c-can you please tell me what you are doing in my house?"
"I was getting to that. Now, after I punished her for her trying to help me, she said that I prefer Belle and that she hated me. I've been depressed ever since, so I've been wondering what I should. I can't unground her, because I am very concerned about what she did to Belle, but I also need her to understand that I love her and I want her to grow up to be well a happy and respectable adult."
"Maybe you could, um, go home? Please?" she asks, missing some of the doctor's words after dozing off for a split second.
"Go home and talk to her, huh? But with all this stuff going on, I've been too stressed. With that growing magic fire that is trying to burn all life away in its vicinity in order to turn our world into a barren husk on top of my family worries, I've been snapping at just about everyone who tries to talk to me."
"Sorry, what about what about the fire?"
"Shut up, I wasn't done talking!"
The beetle promptly closes her mouth and dives under the covers. "Sorry, pleasedon'tdoanythingtomedoctor!"
"Hmm, don't do anything?" he says, thoughtfully tugging on his mustache. "Maybe you're right," he sighs. "I need time to cool my temper. It wouldn't do to argue with her. She is probably pretty stressed too. Ugh, I hate it, but I might have to wait before I can fix this."
The bed creaks as he gets up. "Thanks Jewel, you were a great help." Then, he jumps out of the window and into his flying machine, before going off to his own territory.
Jewel heaves a sigh of relief. The mad doctor is finally gone. She isn't dead, transformed into a robot or placed into a capsule. Honestly, things went really well today. Now, to get some sle-
Someone else is in her bed.
"Sorry, is this a bad time?" a familiar wolf says under the covers.
"Sorry, she wanted to ask some advice with an issue she's having," Tangle says, sitting up from her own place on the bed and giving a wave. "I figured she could ask you."
"Wha-who-what is- why are you guys breaking into my house!?" Jewel shouts, gesticulating wildly.
"I gave them the keys," Lanolin says, opening the door. "They said it was an emergency, and non martial emergencies are to go to you.."
Jewel can only look at the sheep, her mouth slightly agape in a mix of frustration and confusion.
"So, anyway, I was part of a group of mercenaries, and one of them was an octopus named Mimic,"
At that moment Jewel can only fall back into her pillow and groan. Looks like she isn't getting any rest tonight...
AN: I felt that we needed something a bit lighthearted and I wanted to bully Jewel.
