What should your focus for the rest of the Quest be?

Its probably best not to have the capital world be in warp transit - its a pretty important communication hub. Anyway, I would like to nominate Amratur as the subsector to hold our overall capital. It is effectively the sub sector that is the closest to the middle of the Sector and means that its unlikely that it will be moved again in the future. Not sure on what system should get it though.

Edit: I just noticed this, but since the north-west cultists is gone one of our actions needs to be to settle that sub sector next turn.

So . . . How terrifying is the 30k Imperial Guard's groundpounder POV when the stargrove starts increasing its military development levels and researching new armaments?

Same with 30k Navy with that level 20 Void Development and the spamming of dreadnoughts?

Also, yeeti stealing green black ships 10000 years before grandpa wakes up and star-mech vs 30k Ad-mech theological rap battles; how would the star grove interacted with preach to the anti-Chaos Interex and adopt the Nomadic Diasporex fleets?

You tell me. There is a thing called sidestories for that kind of thing.

And with that; Night!

Just a heads up to contextualize "war world" nonsense lol-- their diameter is 15km. While volume-wise they're likely significantly larger than battleships due to being spherical, our battleship length is from 20 to 28 km lol, and no one's proposing making them one of our capitals.

Chery for sheer geographic convenience isn't a bad idea, keeping it Archwan / Droma for the Droman creed isn't that bad since we're friendly with Van Zandt's and Mashans is not bad either.

For other notes--

Now that we control K'ali A'shi, do we have any more detailed information on the Republic of Asharru? Might be worth figuring out how to clean them up on pain of "a fleet with a bunch of Choirs singing Silence Melodies" lmao -- they don't exactly feel... diplomatic.

That aside, I believe Shipwright's Grove also has our Choir system. Do they have any songs that we don't, or melodies? I would be surprised if they didn't have Irritan melodies maxed out, but who knows.

For other things...

They operate an estimated ~1.500 military vessels, most of which are on dispersed defensive duty to bolster local SDF efforts to combat a constant Low-Level Pirate Threat from within the various Oort Clouds of their claimed and held systems and a High-Level Pirate Threat from the Corsair's Haven Sector Cluster.
With our scouting capabilities and I believe our auto-built Sector Defenses, how much of a problem is this? If it remains a problem, it may behoove us to make it... not a problem. Do we need to start figuring out scrying Songs, or can we just say sic'em time to fuck these guys up?

In any case, they're basically already serving as merchant marine + internal patrollers, we can basically just keep it that way. Maybe also offer them a spot in our Civilian XX Fleets and such if they're interested.

Their total ship production capabilities outstrip those of the Glimmering Federation by a factor of 2.5x due to their cultural and societal mindset, which enforces the continual expansion of habitation stations, asteroid settlements, and the subsequent needed intra-stellar infrastructure. Most of their shipyards are privately owned, with the rest distributed between dedicated military shipyards and corporate holdings. It should be noted here that the Grove enforces a clause within any new yard construction that sets aside 10% of the yard's total output for use by the Grove Navy, which can be called upon in the form of maintenance, re-fitting, or the construction of new ships.
Uh, so no idea how accurate this is after we got Void XX and the Cross-Culturals and all that (and frankly even the Chaos World integrations), but we're looking for some pretty disgusting increases navy-wise, numerically speaking. We effectively doubled+ our size sub-sector size anyways, so...

Their armaments are focused on a mix of Macro-Cannons, Lances, and some torpedos sprinkled in, with their Destroyers primarily outfitted with the latter. At the same time, their Frigates are armed with only Lances. Their Grand Cruisers primarily use Rotary or Plasma Macro-Cannons, with the Grove's Heavy Revolving Prow Lance a standard armament.

They are currently undergoing the effort to construct a Battleship called 'The Old Forest' in their Core Worlds. It will be around ~17km long once finished.
Hmm -- their Battleships are much smaller than ours, interesting. That aside -- do we get the Heavy Revolving Prow Lance as standard now or nah? I don't expect so but might as well ask.

Other notes: for "War Worlds being capable of feeding a fleet," uh, how literal is that? Like, when we sent out our Cult War fleets, could a single world have fed them, or nah?

How is Bio-Titan construction gonna work? Same deal as regular titan construction, or nah? I doubt they'll be forged in Qualach's Forge, after all, haha.

I'm inclined to not really pursue them because of uhhh, Tyranids lol, but I assume they do have their advantages over regular titans? I assume being literally grown means they have some more easier logistics all depending.

Also, uh, I guess last question -- we've got to deal with the Cursed Worlds now. Are they still habitable / colonizable? Irritan Terraforming's now in play, we can get consecrating, and we can turn our 3k free choirs loose with the relevant songs if need be. Are they gonna require the same turn sink-style thing of the other former Chaos worlds or can we just eat them fine now?

[X][Ships] Let them remain as what they essentially are: internal patrols, merchant marine, and supplements to SDFs. Offer them places in the Pilgrim Fleets as well. Refit anything that doesn't require an action. Keep the War Worlds under military control if the War Worlds are so inclined.

Idk what to really do with the War Worlds but I'll basically just treat them as Kil'drabi style Nomadic Fleets -- supplements but not necessarily core, we can let them be if need be, we have our logistics ships and they feel like Tyranid bait.

I do not really care about this lol

+++Long Live The Stargrove Federation+++

glimmering Stargrove Federation

Official longform name must be "Glimmerling Stargrove Federation" (GSF) or we riot! :mob: ( :V )

Although to be honest, it's kinda funny imagining that unification of the Grove and Glimmers has been consistently delayed over the centuries because of an impasse over how much of their own names are kept without giving in to title inflation. :thonk:

In order;
Nope. :>
None. That information is several centuries old by now. :V
I'm going to add it once I'm home. Forgot about it. :V
Literal. You grab a fleet. Then a War-World. The the latter feeds the former.
Same as regular titans, but different flavor.
As much as Nurgle's armpits.

Tyranids: "I"mma Om-Nom Ya!" >:3
Literal undying Bio-Titan made to fight them:
"Woe. Mushroom upon ye."

I mean, it already has millions-billions of people living on it, has a high concentration of industry and government, and is probably already around the size of a dreadnought, no? Just slap some thrusters, a couple million guns, and a warp drive on it!
Your Capital Station is, by now, an artificial planetoid with ~200 billion people. You ain't moving that.

Right, forgot that there's Eldar stuff in Subsector Archwan.

Cherry does seem like a fair place. Fairly far from the last known threat vector, was jointly colonized by the Shipwrights and the Federation (more or less). And doesn't have any other factions in it.
