Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

[X] Symbolism is Key
-[X] Reveal yourself
-[X] Activate By Rage Recast with a willpower roll
-[X] Unfurl Anima to fullest extent.
--[X] Stunt: An Emerald Sun blooms a corona of seemingly endless eyes pulsing and revolving and taking in any and everything. You float from the ground towards the Giant as a second set of arms one a glowing Veridian of holographic flesh with flowing shadows for skin and the other a pulsating mass of emerald flame clad in otherworldly Force giving the form solidity. " Unfortunately great warrior, agents of the great Nothing are moving, they bring with them nothing but death unending. So we must cleanse them pull them root from stem grant them the Oblivion they so desperately seek." In your four hands crimson whirls sharp flaying shredding winds hungry and roaring. " They Scurry here to conjure some foul Magic by which to attack the lands under the sun, we must prevent them from doing so."

So we got multiple limbs for by rage recast so I thought I'd work with it. The generation of multiple limbs the floating off the ground the corona of pulsating searching eyes gives the distinct impression that yes while this place might be dangerous there is very few and very little that can escape our sight our grasp and those enter it will they find murderous meat which is the vortex of shredding wind that destroys spirits which means there's no fleeing back to their masters on their untimely demise only true and perfect death.

I feel like it shows our power to kill things that are down here permanently without needing to overstate it. Also doesn't cost any Essence to do all of this which is a massive Plus at least in my book.

I am having trouble getting into Tiffany's head or coming up with something for her to do or say when revealing herself. @DragonParadox sorry to bother you - what does it cost for Tiffany to assume her apocalyptic form? I can't find it in the character sheet.

Should I just limit this to Molly? Tiffany revealing herself should probably impactful to her, is likely to affect the Nephilim greatly, and would prove that all our circle members are ready to do this (which is the point), but I really can't think of anything for her to say.

I am open to amending and changing my plan at this point. I want to preserve an offer of mercy killing or resurrection, I want this to be about our Circle, and I want Molly to mention she is an exalt. But I am open to changes.

[X] Reveal yourself and Tiffany
-[X] Ignite your anima, activate Ego-Infused Pattern Primacy with Willpower, and activate Source Code Compliance Protocol (pay 1 Essence)
-[X] STUNT: A new, green sun, rises in the bleak darkness of the Underworld, as your soul unfurls, an invincible banner of a one man army against the taint of the maw of oblivion. It dances, shadowless and bright, against the crystalline feathers of an ascending angel, accentuates your words, spoken in the language ancient before death was invented: "Exalted pays respect to the guardian of Creation, and is grateful for the concern. Know beyond the shadow of doubt - this Circle will not be shattered here. Know also, that it is not blind wrath that drives us, but a pursuit of evil. Know finally, that should you desire the end of your duty - be it the final rest, or the turning of the Wheel, both are mine to grant"

This covers what I was thinking in a way that I can get behind.

Though @Yog why not use the scene as a target to ask who that is or where we are? Seems more reliable than just NWS.
I just wanted to quote you again to thank you - adding the crown question was absolutely worth it and rather critical to the scene.
It costs her 1 Faith.
And she only has three, right?

Well, Tiffany should identify herself, but probably not with the apocalyptic form. Does anyone have any idea? Perhaps simply introducing herself? We can maybe do introductions of our Circle? A suitably grand one.

We don't know what else is down here, but we do know that Evil Bob sent us here in particular on purpose. It's possible, even likely, that he knows more than us about what happened here too. Maybe it was just an easy way to get rid of us, but I wouldn't want to wake something up be shining a light in its eyes.

Also worth remembering our minions are alone with that freak and any blamps he's working with. I'm concerned about what might happen to them if facing high level supernatural threats without our presence.

This is important, but I think we should be mindful of our resources and time constraints when picking an approach.

Bob sent us here responding to us taunting him and his idea. We engaged him in conversation, and goaded him into doing this with an overwhelming success.

I agree that we should be mindful of resources, but if we get the nephilim on our side, I am fairly sure at least some things should be easier.

Any idea how to introduce TIffany?

I don't know if anyone's curious and to be honest doesn't really matter but the reason the name of the plan that I put forward is symbolism is key is because both liger and the unconquered sun are four armed humanoids. The symbolism being invoked is of possibly the most powerful being that's ever existed and the Heart of the king of the Titans.

We goaded him into talking, that doesn't mean we actually got him to deviate on his primary plan. Presumably he wasn't sitting around here for kicks.

Getting a Nephilim on side would be great, but that could take considerable resources and for all we know being too loud down here might wake something up.

This is all secondary to Evil Bob being free to prod our people with whatever resources he brought. They're tough, but have no experience with necromancy and the there are a lot of awful things that could happen to them in this situation.

[X] Plan Let There be Light
-[X] Reveal yourself and Tiffany
--[X] Ignite your anima, and activate Source Code Compliance Protocol (pay 1 Essence)
--[X} Tiffany uses Lore of Light 1 to illuminate the area around you, moonlight to the Green Sun of your anima
-[X] STUNT: A new, green sun, full of innumerable eyes, rises in the bleak darkness of the Underworld, as your soul unfurls, a banner of an army against the taint of the maw of oblivion. It dances, shadowless and bright, intermingling with sacred moonlight of an angel given flesh, someone new and ready to rise. Respect and determination highlighted by the fires of your soul, you speak, in words that were ancient when Death and Time were but a dream: "This Circle pays respect to your sacrifice, oh martyr, and thanks you for your warning. Let the light of our souls dispel the shadows of your doubt - know that it is bright enough to find the foes of creation even in this darkness. I am Exalted, and my companions hold no duller swords. Know, that it is not blind wrath that drives us, but a pursuit of evil, and in that we must not be swayed. Know finally, that should you desire the end of your duty - be it the final rest, or the turning of the Wheel, both are mine to grant"

Ok, did some changes. Removed Apocalyptic Form Tiffany and gave her something meaningful to do - Lore of Light to supplement our own lightshow. Keeping the offer of release for now.

@Yog @DragonParadox
Technically you only have to roll Permanent Faith with DC6 to go into Apocalyptic Form.
You can spend a point of Faith for an autosuccess though.
Lore of Light should be sufficient as a reveal, I think? Tiffany rolls 9 dice (speaking of, Science 4 - maybe we should hire her / pay her to work with our guys to shake up the markets?) to do Lore of Light 1 manipulation, and, as angelic lore, it demonstrates who she is quite nicely.

Besides faith expenditure, I still can't find anything for apocalyptic form Tiffany to dramatically do / declare besides standing there.

Ok, let me try to make an argument before going to sleep.

First, I'll be presuming that Nephilim's motivation is based on a concern that we aren't strong enough in some sense - be it in direct strength of arms, ability to withstand spiritual corruption, or something else. It doesn't need to be out of concern for us in the sense that he cares for us, but it is a concern nevertheless.

There are four roads: reveal Molly only, reveal TIffany only, reveal both, reveal none. I'll dismiss the last one out of hand - I can't think of how to make it work at all. Lydia tried, and he seems well disposed towards her, but he isn't trusting her strength of arms. And leaning into Kemmler's legacy to demonstrate it is... risky, based on how Lydia might be connected to this place. So, path by path, pros and cons:
1) Tiffany only. She's something new, but in the frame of reference the Nephilim is likely to work with, she is likely something akin to himself. His senses might or might not be good enough to see her as an artificial construct. Depending on the manner of his fall, his disposition to Denarians, Lasciel, and Tiffany might run the whole gamut from disgust to pity, to undying loyalty and love. We can't exactly bank on that. What we can be near-certain of, is that he won't trust Tiffany's strength to carry our warparty through this. Because he himself, likely a more powerful and experienced nephilim, died.

2) Molly only. Depending on his senses, and what we tell him, he might understand that Molly is a Celestial Exalt, or a baby primordial. The anima display and the feel of her essence should be an argument for her strength. However, it isn't an argument for her character at all. Remember, Molly is an Infernal. Demon Empress to Come. Heir of Malfeas who was Theion. Quite likely one of the worst potential threats to Creation. Unless the Nephilim has super-deep lore (possible, but I am not banking on it), he might well assume she is from another faction of Outsiders (because, and I remind people, Molly's worldsoul is outside Creation, like Malfeas and Autochtonia weren't parts of Creation. Molly might be slumming inside Creation, but she's an enclave of Outside). We cannot assume he'll even be neutral, much less friendly to her.

3) Tiffany and Molly together + Lydia having already shown herself. Here, my hope, is that the trifecta of characters present will convince him. Tiffany for familiarity and possibly character reference - even if he hates her faction of the Fallen, he likely will trust her to be competent due to her nature, if not strong enough. And he might well be friendly to her seeing her quite possibly as a niece / younger sister of sorts. Molly for strength - the feel of our anima should be unmistakable. Finally, Lydia for character and guidance - she's very much at home here, and this should be noticeable.

So, Tiffany + Molly works best.

If I may offer my own Analysis he can't actually stop anyone from going in there. He has a hole in his leg where his knee once was where the black court has essentially carved an entrance in.

We here for Bob and we can make this offer later without spending any Essence and he can't stop us because if he could stop us Bob wouldn't have just walked past him. So there's no need to prove anything to this literal corpse. Molly is a devout believer so she wants to Grant some comfort and some words but there's no reason to spend Essence on this and to be frank having a conversation with him is a waste of time.

We can offer the resurrect him later we can come back for him later we're here for Bob. So let's not spend any of our limited resources on convincing it if something it doesn't need to be convinced of spare them a few words about why we're here and then get moving.

I get it offering Resurrection may seem like it's the most important thing to do right now but they've been sitting here since the Heyday of Egypt I think they can wait an extra hour all of which is predicated on needing to use primordial tongue to convey any of this which is strange to me.

While I want to offer resurrection or final death, that's not the most important thing right now. Getting access to his intelligence, and possibly getting him to tell where to go exactly is more important.

Okay why do you need to use Essence to do this? What is exactly being added by using Source Code Compliance. At the moment it just looks like an extra Essence expenditure. That could be used on a question on his hollowed out kneecap that's a doorway to get the exact layout of the building behind it.

The use of SCCP does several things at once:
1) It demonstrates our Essence use. Essence is not mana, it is not chi, rage or gnosis. It is the most pure and potent power there is, requiring enlightenment to wield.
2) It demonstrates our access to high tier mysteries - the Primordial language itself. That's a thing that, if taught to a person, can make them explode from enlightenment. It's the language that predates Creation. We are speaking it like a native.
3) It demonstrates our access to perfect effects - SCCP compels others to reply to us in Primordial language. By RaW and arguably by RaI, SCCP is a mass scale perfect attack with an activation condition. "any who respond to the infernal suffer one level of bashing damage". It's a charm that would be affecting the Nephilim himself.
4) When I have Molly say "I am Exalted" I don't want it to mean "I was empowered by someone". I want it to mean "I am Exalted, the greatest of weapons created by the King of all Craftsmen". And when I offer end or resurrection, I want him to understand what I mean.

We could skip essence use, maybe. SCCP without essence still fulfills points 2 to 4. @DragonParadox two questions:
1) Can the SCCP bashing damage be soaked? The rule says: "This enforced comprehension ravages the mind and body, and who hear the Infernal and respond to her suffer one level of bashing damage in the form of bleeding eyes and terrible headaches." so I am guessing not, but I want to check
2) If someone speaks enochian natively, or at least understands it, like Tiffany and the Nephilim likely do, do they still suffer damage?
