[X] [Defiant] [Romantic] Extend your hand to Alicent. "Will the lady grant me the honour to join me on a ride?"

Manderly can't actually knight us. Even if he tried, only Viserys has the authority to make it stick.

[X] [Defiant] [To Become A Knight] Face Lord Manderly and reveal yourself to the crowd as Rhaenyra Targaryen.
We're here to become a knight, that was the point of this.

While I like the idea of going on a ride with our girlfriend, becoming a Knight is one of our ambitions. Plus the look on Unwin Peake face when he finds out how beat is too hilarious not to do so.

This reminds me, we agreed I could gloat if we won and you could complain if we lost.

Well.

WE'RE THE BEST, NEVER DOUBTED RHAENYRA FOR A SECOND, SHE COULD SLAY ARTHUR DAYNE WITH ONE HAND WHILE WRITING POEMS TO ALICENT WITH THE OTHER.

WHOOOOO!!!!

I thought about it, and for once I can be patient. It'll be more narratively satisfying.

This really doesn't feel like a choice. Like, is there any reason to turn down knighthood? We have plenty of private time and plenty of public opportunities for subtle and not-so-subtle affection with Allicent, and we have nothing to prove because she already accepts and reciprocates our feelings. There's basically zero incentive to do anything except the thing we literally joined this tournament to do in the first place!

I expect to be in the minority, but please spare a thought for Alicent and the stress.

This Is a Big step for Rhaenyra journey. One the road and back home there will ample time to share acta of love with her Fair Maiden

I mean, "beginning a knightly romance" is literally an achievement for us, so even purely mechanically I don't think it is absent reason. This is peak knightly romance.

Yes!

I deeply want Romantic! Though the narrative of Ser Rhaenyra is too great a combo. In Every Kingdom Rhaenyra did worthy martial achievement She defeated Harwin Strong in the Harrenhal. Found righteous by the Seven in Eyrie. Now she won the honor of the only Seven worshiper in the North.

I thought the idea was to accomplish such knightly feats that he would have to allow it?
Second in the Melee, first in the Joust of a tourney so big it's being called the Great Northern Tourney, if we keep dueling skilled warriors like we did Harwin Strong, then that will also gain us extra renown if we feel insecure about our chances of Viserys knighting us.

But also, think about the fame and respect we'll gain from revealing ourselves, we just put a bloody and battered Unwin Peake into the dirt so Lord Manderly will be happy, the Lords of the North respect strength, and also it will get people to start taking us even more serously.

Also, bit of a troll reason but imagine the faces of Cole and Peake when we unmask ourselves, plus it's just the kind of bold we want from Rhaenyra.

I will note that since we crowned Alicent as our Queen of Love and Beauty wouldn't picking the Knight option more or less out to the entire realm that we are involved with Alicent?
