I like the idea that if we (Lady Leizi) had chosen the Darker Path and Black Swan had Rebelled. She (Black Swan) would have called her group NuGen.

Ok, so don't bring up Dandeer. Jesus, how do you make a quest writing decision as atrocious as that? Got it.

And voting's over. To the surprise of nobody, CAT won.

Lady Leizi not using her powers makes some sense from the pov of the rest of her team were frankly powerhouses who were on the whole far more durable than her, especially with her running the whole spy network.

But it does lead to some very funny growth moments, especially when looking from the outside in.
The main problem wasn't that Lady Leizi didn't used her powers. The problem was that she had fought a grand total of 3 electricity users in her whole career —including the most recent fight with Joules— and only now noticed the pattern.

She screams and pulls out a belt-knife and stabs both arms until they let her go. But then she doesn't see the dagger arm come low—

And stab her in the eye.

Triss lets out a yelp of agony that freezes your blood. She never wants you to know when she's in pain. Never. She knocks the arm away, and Doctor Silver rushes and places a red glow on her. You can hear him cursing how "he's out".

Triss looks back at you, and you see the damage. The knife couldn't cut through her domino mask, but the blade was long enough to gouge out her eye. There's nothing left in the socket; it's a ruined mess of blood and gore. You can just hear her whisper something to you.

Will we be able to fix Belle Sabreuse missing eye?

Radiant Silvergirl drops next to her. Your heart seizes in your chest.

"Back already?" Socialite Butterfly coos, "I suppose those others didn't put up much of a fight, did they?"

Don't think about what that means. She could be lying. Stay calm.

What "others" is SB talking about?

Oh wait, I think I know.

You are Châtelet.

Sunlight Knight was in your arms, bleeding to death, as you hid from the copy of your cousin's lover. You had just gotten the tourniquet on when three ultimatums were drilled into your skull.

Now, you're dying. No, not dying, dying would be heaven compared to this. You're thrashing around in your own mind, dying but not being allowed to die.

You have to do that yourself.

SB sent Radiant Silvergirl and Heavenly Astrologian after Châtelet.and Sunlight Knight which seems like overkill.

Does Shohei Ohtani exist in this timeline? I've met so many Dodger's fans that Ohtani's jersey is seared into my memory, and I'm giggling visualizing Scarlet Maturity wearing it. ala dragonball's baseball episode.
He does. But he joined the Mets and help create a dynasty.
Also just realized after this we'll never escape the "Project Prometheus is about strengthening powers" allegations. Lady Leizi just showed a move that caused a literal thunderclap that parted Uiara's attack and revealed she could kill otherwise invulnerable enemies by giving them heart attacks? They will feel like we aren't even bothering to hide it anymore.
Tbf, that last bit is only because she knew of a ver specific quirk of Uiara's powers.
Which incident was this, again? Have we seen it in text? I have a few vague guesses, but trying to figure out the timeline.
It's the one from Eidolon pt. 1, where Uiara calls her our for assassinating her dad.

Sure, but they don't know that!
YEs, but she also didnt notice that using her powers energizes her
What I understood was that she got energized by absorbing outside electricity. That is why she only noticed now.
From what I can tell, it's a bit of both? Using her own power does seem to energize her, but it seems like outside sources are way more effective at doing so? Presumably the stamina costs/drain of using her powers and fighting cancels out most of the energizing effect.

The exact a quirk of how these powers will gel via Dynamite gives the possibility for something fun. However, it requires you committing to something now.

There been a lot of talk of making Yara a psychic, or eventually giving her psychic abilities. Will you commit to doing that in the future now? You would still vote on her powers as normal whenever you empower her, but she must have [True Telepathy] at a minimum. Any builds that don't have that—or something equivalent—will be vetoed.

In exchange for losing this flexibility, we'll roll a d6. I'll put six unknown synergies in a table (all of which would be relevant for a psychic) and I'll reveal one to you at random.

Or, you can refuse, which is totally fine too!

I am curious why this matters, Yara is not Ellie after all, but… I suspect I have an idea.

Still, no reason to not admit we were going this way anyway.

…though I admit it's very interesting there are apparently 6 possible psychic related synergies between these powers.

As far as I'm concerned, this is not even a realistic downside. Its just giving her Seraph or some equivalent which was already on the table and semi planned, in exchange for free synergy info.
