[X] Plan: LowTierTelepath
-[X] Seraph
-[X] Mr. Whaaa?
-[X] Miss Conception
This plan accomplishes several things narratively and practically.
Narratively, it would be satisfying to see Socialite Butterfly be defeated by her latest victim who she considered little more than a power-up for her collection. Seraph died fearful, and if the glimpses of her history were anything to go by, she has a record of being coerced into using her power for goals she doesn't believe in or want. Thus, it would be very poetic to give her the chance to attain justice for the crimes done against her with her own two hands. Similarly, placing two people who don't have much narrative weight helps further focus the spotlight on Seraph.
The story has humanized Crusade a lot lately, and the narrative is clearly pushign us towards dealing with Elysium and the Ladder as major pieces of the puzzle. Having Seraph is key to further help us move in said direction by influencing Ellie of the lived experiences of someone who was born there. Not only that, but Ellie was pretty mad when she last met Seraph during the interview thanks to how she manipulated Black Swan, and I think her growing to know more about Seraph can help her become more and perhaps, help her undo the misstep with Silvio earlier on since it's been outright stated and demonstrated that Exceed-Beyond has always been meant for two people.
Practically, this set of powers is perfect for dealing with Socialite Butterfly's clones by subverting her ability to command them, while also hiding details of Project Prometheus from the many hostile observers present around us right now.
Serpah is a true telepath in every sense of the word, able to influence the minds of others and communicate with them. We know Socialite Butterfly even used her clone of Seraph to transmit her commands wordlessly to the rest of her admirers. Combine this with Mr. Whaaa?'s perception filter, Miss Conception's ability to fool the senses, and the clones being incredibly dumb, and we have the perfect recipe to turn Socialite Butterfly's strengths against her.
Not only can we fool cloned Justiciar to turn off her Edicts and use them against her allies instead by imitating Socialite Butterfly in voice and visuals, we can potentially make Socialite Butterfly do it for us by making her think she's saying one thing when she actually said another. This completely reverses the situation on its head as Socialite Butterfly will now operate on incomplete and false information, while also hiding what exactly we did to all observers. The latter is important strategically, as keeping Project Prometheus hidden is a major reason for why the smear campaign against us has not been effective, and it's also how we'll be able to keep catching our opponents off-guard every time they pull out their own BS against us.
Our espionage game has been top tier so far, and I want to force the Mysteries to tear their hair out of frustration from the fact that even when we dropped this bombshell literally right in front of them, they still couldn't glean anything of value from it. The fact that we've been able to keep this hidden for so long is one of the best parts of playing as Lady Leizi, and I want to make sure we keep it going for as long as possible.
