Ok, sure, damn, missed that. Corrected.@Yog Olivia is not with us right now. You voted to leave her at the Hidden Halls.
You need to edit your plan.
From the combat perspective I consider one less mote to be far better than tanking agg and better than having to activate anti-shaping defense. These plans are mostly the same since one was ripped from another. The difference is the approach on the bomb. I don't like the occult excellency being used since we don't yet know what the missing 6 warlocks are doing and I'd rather have 5 essence left than 4 along with the extra will point to deal with it.
A demon lord was summoned earlier by some warlocks and the Hollowman is still a threat so it's hard to say what else maybe down the pipeline that we need to combat. Shintai and our other charms will obviously be expiring soon. Probably right after we leave the Labyrinth.
The two Crown questions are mandatory really since we need to know of Merlin's status and what the 6 warlocks are doing right now. With the way essence and will has been spent, Namshiel especially, Molly is likely going to start taking wound penalties if we have a bunch of combat down the line. The amount of obstacles the enemy has been able to bring to bear on short notice, Blampires, demon lord, life tether, Labyrinth, is enough that I'd rather have the extra two motes than not. Otherwise I'd vote for plan "altogether now".
[X] Plan Hell Seer
Edit: Though we have Tiffany to help counter wound penalties so hopefully we can get back into contact with her sooner rather than later.
The difference between the two plans is two motes not one. Neither plan calls for tanking anything unless either one fails. If your plan fails Molly won't be the only one tanking damage from what I understand. It's a bomb meant to break the veil, I'm not sure why an anti shaping defence would be needed if it does go off. We have soak and Tiffany besides, though she isn't nearby right now. From the combat perspective I consider one less mote to be far better than tanking agg and better than having to activate anti-shaping defense.
Cause the mechanism of the "explosion" is potentially a shaping effect. It's not like the thing is a forces effect or that magic all fails the same way when disrupted. The difference between the two plans is two motes not one. Hmm.. maybe though as you said not everything fails the same way when disrupted. The text just says risk of considerable "damage". Though now that your saying it this makes me want Molly to deal with it even moreso than the others incase it does go off.Cause the mechanism of the "explosion" is potentially a shaping effect. Something trying to pull your body apart across dimensions or drop you into hell against your will is probably a shaping effect.
Personally I think that we should rely on the specialists available when we have them. Supposing the Merlin is clean then we have some of the best wizards on the planet here, if not this then what are they supposed to be good for?Hmm.. maybe though as you said not everything fails the same way when disrupted. Well, Hell Seer doesn't have Molly drain her essence/will pool, Altogether Now does have her do so but it also has Molly not handle it alone which is something else you want.Personally I think that we should rely on the specialists available when we have them. Draining our essence pool on stuff we don't necessarily have to do ourselves harms our ability to deal with things we may actually be the only practical solution to.
I think its reasonable to argue that for disabling hostile magic devices, Molly IS the specialist.Personally I think that we should rely on the specialists available when we have them. I wonder what he's doing in this whole disaster. I'm betting on the obvious, he was attacked by the Outsiders. The vote is a tie so... An interlude from the Gatekeeper's PoV might be interesting.
Sucker bet.I wonder what he's doing in this whole disaster. I'm betting on the obvious, he was attacked by the Outsiders.
It also happened during Las Vegas. It was the explanation for no Knights of the Cross being in sight that whole Arc.
And in this quest during Vegas. Yes, I bet on it because I'm too lazy to think about other possibilitiesSucker bet.
Most times that Outsiders have made major moves in the Dresden Files, its coincided with an upsurge of activity at the Outer Gates to force people to split their attention. It happened in Cold Days, it happened in Battle Ground.

Either way I think both Crown questions are mandatory so I'm voting for one or the other.
Though I suppose we could also wait for the scene to finish before asking about the missing Warlock's whereabouts and activities as that may trigger the Urge and the scene will be ending soon.

(Outsider)Teamwork is a superpower. And in this quest during Vegas. Yes, I bet on it because I'm too lazy to think about other possibilities

Even more Denarians. Looks like everyone got fucked over by the Outsiders. That's hilarious. Also reminds me of why the Red Court is so stupid.
So were the Denarians working with the Outsiders or did they just get played by them?
The issue is that this was our initiative. This wasn't planned Outsider move. This was them responding to us finding their operation in less than two hours.Sucker bet.

That... might actually be good, if we start to exhaust the number of prepared disasters. But still demonstrates that the forces of evil were really overcommitted to ensuring victory - if not for us, they could have crushed WC.They have instant communication and they had triggers to pull.
