On one hand, fair point, it's probably the healthier stance to take.

On the other, I'd rather be able to see the Warp Tremor Gauge going "💅 ✨GUUUUUURL✨💅" and noticing a giant Slaneeshi murderball going in our direction so that the crash built Titan Legion can face it instead.

Yeah, a 4 unit Battle Titan Maniple is probably the single highest concentration of force outside of the Slaaneshi murdertrain in the Sector right now, and it means we don't just auto-lose against their own Titan.

I don't think they have a full scale God Machine though, because if they did, we'd probably be fucked without taking this One Specific Option.

I don't want to worry you. I really don't. But I need to remind you that we kind of already had a brush with having to take a One Specific Option to not die:
[] [Psykana] CLOSE IT CLOSE IT CLOSE IT NOW! (0/3)
CLOSE THE FUCKING RIFT RIGHT THIS FUCKING SECOND! THERE IS A FUCKING CHAOS ARMADA ABOUT TO ENTER QUINTURAS THROUGH IT, AND THEY BRING WITH THEM SIX AND SEVEN DAEMON BATTLESHIPS AS THEIR VANGUARD!!!

(Gain: CLOSED THE FUCKING RIFT!)
13 battleships. As vanguard. Imagine what this economy can do in terms of, say, producing various classes of Titans. Would not be surprised to hear words like "66 Titans" and "Star Child preserve us".

I mean, they surely are busy with other things and besides are quite far away. Even Chaos has to worry about travel expenses, if only to write off more slaves for sacrifices. Also, who knows what is between us and them. Maybe a few "DO NOT GO THERE. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING THERE." systems to make their trek as frustrating as the grumpy necron's one.

I think that's kind of the intended feature here- the doomstacks are very, very slowly approaching, like a train driving towards you but it's starting in Portugal and is going to head east before (somehow) ending up in New York where you are tied to the train tracks and besides the train workers are currently on strike.
Just means we need get all our actions in order before that time (like researching all necron tech we want before it gets taken away).

Also, I see our post All-X and Shipyard merger selves being capable of crash-building 8 fleets per Action, resulting in potentially 40 new next-generation fleets in a OH GOD OH FUCK turn, but at this point it's clear this is very-end-game content right there, and if we have a fear about Chaos being able to field something, that fear may be quite well founded.

I really hope that Armada actually got Lost in the Warp thanks to us closing their exit point and isn't just raptured out for free, but Chaos cheats vigorously as a matter of course.

Honestly, I'm almost certain that the reason why the Warp is so turbulent is that the Slaanesh and Nurgle cults are fishing those daemon battleships out of the Warp. They've certainly expanded enough to have the sacrifices needed to pull something like that off since Chaos cheats like bastards.

[X][Name] (Charger Bold, Wolf of the Woods, Brachyura Rex, Defiant Phoenix)
[X][Color Scheme] (Olive Drab primary, dark green secondary, highlights indicate veterancy level, Totemic heraldry for individual unit on flag, Legio unit mark on chest.)

Just for the meme, and having an alternative.

The fact that Herocooky gave this a laughing reaction makes me... worried.

Maybe the Warp Observatory would be good, actually. But dammit, it seems like we're stuck in stasis waiting for the warp to chill. We need that before getting all-X, and we need all-X before unifying with the shipwrights.

We put two actions in, actually. Heartbeat of Industry song last turn.
Oh well we can do the smallest titans for... the second one. Not good to hear overall. Considering how many we can make.

A bit late but I would also advocate for our actually big titans to deviate meaningfully from the imperium and other factions, whose titans are essentially man but bigger. I think 2 legs makes sense for these small titans, but I would like imagine our huge titans as 4 or 6 legged with a BIG gun mounted on the 'back' of it. Maybe with missiles as secondary, and smaller 'turrets' on the legs, rotating around them so it can fire anywhere under or over itself.
Oh definitely, I will say that our scout walkers can be two legged as normal but as we get bigger we should go about with 4 or 6 legged titans to take advantage of the greater load bearing and more even distribution of the load on them.

Fluff Incoming Tomorrow. You now have 4 Titans of the Immensa Immensus Size only one Action away. They are fully capable of demolishing half of one of your Grand Sector Armies if they are operating as a quintet.
Yayyyy Fluff. Lets see how it all goes soon enough.... wait what? let me check- wait what? So the Immensa Immensus is somewhere between the Reaver and Warbringer sizes... I'm confused, weren't we told we could only make Grandis Titan Cohort? So only enough to make the Grandis Size and not bigger?

Either way four Titans of this size can demolish half a Grand Army.... I do NOT like what this implies the Warbringer Titan the Cult to the Northwest has. Still I'm assuming it can wipe out a full Grand Sector armies and we might need another larger group of the Immensa Immensus. We might need a Magnificus or just some Grandis to fill in the role of the titans for screening the larger ones.

Wow

Okay, yeah, that's worth it.

"These are four units, if you deploy them in one place, they can kill roughly half of a sub-sector Army Group"

Force Concentration Matters!
Force Concentration Does Matter, which is why we are going to need more of the same size or more, meaning more actions then 2 invested into Titan Design/Production and grabbing either same size titans or up another level.

Fun Fact: A Deus Machina would kill two Grand Sector Armies if equipped with ammunition-independent weaponry! :]
Holy shit that is insane! though not sure if we really need it.... feels more a vanity project to make one and just keep it in storage unless we use it when meeting new factions to use in meetings or talks to 'convince them' to join peacefully. I guess making one and keeping it as an ace up our sleeve would pay off. My question is how many of these can we afford to build and maintain.

270.M43 - The World Of Qulach's Forge
The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp, a melody and song of divine protection and divine invection spearing into its heart like a thousand-petal'd sound from a great bell rung five times five-fold. From within, it glows like embers in the dusk, like ash not yet wholly cooled, like a fire that threatens to spring forth once again, sacred in its might and holy in its mission.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp, works of great skill and greater significance thrumming deep within manufacturies and workshops arranged in patterns and shapes that seem paradoxical, illogical even, at first glance, but all flow together into a harmonious whole, united and untied by horrors grasping and clawing at the Veil to be let in, let in, let inside those most holy of machines now being assembled.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp as labors are bent to the creation of four beings whose complexity overshadows all that the Star-Mechanicum has ever created bar the Planet-Maw that even now digests the moons required to lend the materials for these works, metals flowing from furnaces and smelters like rivers in the bowels of Mars and Terra, within the crust of planets, or everywhere the might of industry shapes the universe to the will of sapients.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp as Magi by the thousands wield gravity like the gods of old wielded lightning and thunder, materials stretched and compressed according to schemata and metrics as esoteric as they are little understood. By the tens of thousands do Acolytes pray and sing praises, incense burning so thick through the assembly halls where the skeletons of four God-Engines are born that one cannot breathe freely without a rebreather or bionic lungs filtering out the blessed smoke wafting from thousands of thuribles held aloft by mechanical, biological, or merged hands and arms.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp, mighty weapons and mightier armaments crafted by those who have dedicated their lives and existences to the preservation and advancement of technology and the Quest for Knowledge, every speck, every drop, every single ounce of mastery dredged from whatever forgotten and damned vaults it lay within unsealed and bent toward the purposes of arming new-born vessels for the Machine God.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp, processions of billions of pilgrims marching through its streets and highways, through its tunnels and over its bridges, billions of souls crying into the eternal Void prayers of defiance, prayers of might, prayers of protection, and more. In their billions, they came, arriving aboard mighty vessels filled to the brim with their pious souls, and in their billions, they march in pre-ordained rivers of metal and meat, skin and scale, fiber and oil, parading with banners and blessed sigils grasped and held aloft or attached with wax or stitched into bodies with ink, holy books and sermons within their hands and in their minds, upon lines and curves spanning an entire planetary network of grand spiritual force.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp. Arch-Magi cantillate the hymns and manuals, millions working under careful application and well-guarded rhythms on their machines, their stations called in sequence to work on machines as parts to create things far more significant than themselves that none of them could comprehend within their lifetimes.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp. Skeletons become naked bodies lacking skin and hands and claws and eyes, guts openly displayed and muscles twitching in the open air as days turn to months turn to years.

The world of Qulach's Forge reverberates within the Warp. The last four seals are placed in unison.

And the world of Qulach's Forge falls silent.

Forgemaster Rho-Zeta-96 stands before the four God-Engines, six arms clasped in prayer, four arms holding blessed thurible, Omnisian Axe, and sacred texts, and two stretched into the skies to beseech the might of the vessels now before them. They pray, offering a question to the Noosphere like a sacrifice to the minds of the machines that have yet to awaken.

+++What Is Thy Duty?+++
+++What Is Thy Honor?+++
+++What Is Thy Charge?+++
+++What Is Thy Purpose?+++

On and on they ask and pray, four questions, 16 words, repeated endlessly, for hours, etching them into the cogitators and minds of the Valiant-Pattern Immensus Immensa Titans that can record but not yet know, not yet see, not yet be.

But ask and pray they do...until...

+++What Is Thy Duty?+++
+++What Is Thy Honor?+++
+++What Is Thy Charge?+++
+++What Is Thy Purpose?+++

A flicker.

A stir.

The God Machine alights upon this sanctified world of its servants.

Spirits wake.

And speak.

(Gain: Long-Range Atevrian Sightlense - 5 DP Weapon. Requires a Choir to operate.)
-[] Silent Shimmershroud (0/2)
The Shimmershroud is a massive dispersion engine capable of twisting the position of the vessel it is installed upon within the Materium, reducing the damage the same takes by virtue of simply not existing where hostile munitions pass through, while also masking its emissions to make it even harder to hit.
(Gain: Silent Shimmershroud - 11 DP Equipment. Requires a Choir to operate.)
-[] Ears of Hare Bnuy (1/2)
The Ears of Bnuy are an homage to the First Hymnal, an extension to a ship mounted atop its bridge section, channeling emissions into its targeting systems to increase the hit rate against elusive targets. -[] Newly Improved Psyker Staves (2/5)
The ability to create psychic focii is no longer a mere beginner's art within the Glimmering Federation, and with knowledge and familiarity comes the ability to strive further than yesterday. With The Sun Melody having become a measuring stick upon which one can see progress, it is estimated that further refinement will be capable of reducing the damages incurred into "mere" full-body third-degree burns.
(Gain: Improves Choir efficiency and might when using Songs and Melodies.)
-[] Newly Improved Psychic Hoods (0/5)
Thanks to the work done in figuring out how to psychically tune and shape cloth and metals to weave together into one whole, a "Psychic Hood" for the layperson, the Celestial Choir is eager to not only begin large-scale dissemination of knowledge and practice but also delve deeper into their understanding of how they function and can be improved.
(Gain: Improved Psychic Hoods are equipment that shields your Psykers from backlash to varying degrees.)

[] [Military] Design New Voidship Classes - [Available: Destroyer (1 DP), Frigate (2 DP), Light Cruiser/Freighter (4 DP), Heavy Cruiser/Freighter (8 DP), Grand Cruiser (16 DP), Temple Ship (25 DP)] - [25 DP]
From what we can tell, thanks to our history, what information we, the Kil'drabi, Yeeni, and the archives of our planets tell us, the difference between a prosperous interstellar polity and one naught but ash is the strength of their navy. At the moment, we have the beginning of a proud Void Fleet, yet purely defending against our enemies is a great way to get ground down into dust over time; we need to be able to bring the fight to them.
(Information: Ship Classes requiring more DP than you possess take more than one Action to design.
Gain: Newly designed and built Ship Class/es.)

(Gain: One plundered Ancient Site.)

[] [Psykana] Conduct Six Melodies (0.0/1 - Auto Complete) - [Choose Melody]
The Celestial Choir has been given the means; with time, they shall conduct their songs. They will listen to the Warp and filter out the false whispers from the slumbering guidance of the Star Child. In halting prayer and stumbling humming, the truth will be stripped until nothing but it remains in the hands of those who shall make it anew into power to be wielded by the Choirs to come. As there are 10 Celestial Choirs free to pursue research, the High Council can ask them to pursue a target instead of what comes close. This will, naturally, be lost once they dip below 10 Choirs.
(Total: 18
Uncovered: Revenant and Prophecy II.
Secret: Slumber.
Star Child: Compassion II, Mercy III, Health II, Innovation II, Justice II, Wisdom II, Death II, Ruthlessness III, Brutality II, and Love.
Kil'drabi: Paths II, Community II, and Family II.
Irrita: Growth II, Plants, Harmony, and Hunger.
Gain: Six Melodies newly Conducted.)

[] [Psykana] Sing two Songs (Choose at least Three below.) - (0.9/1 - Auto Complete) - [N/A]
Mere Melodies are not the end of the journey, nor should they be the start. They are the middle, from which all things shall grow and wither.
(Uncovered: Technology III and Prophecy I.
Secret: Perception III, Silence III, and Grounding III.
Star Child: Protection III, Fire III, The Sun V, Humanity III, Creativity III, Song III, The Home III, Logic III, Unity III, Progress III, Compassion I, Hope III, Health I, Death I, Justice I, Wisdom I, Innovation I, Machinery III, Ruthlessness II, Brutality I, Mercy II, and The Star.
Kil'drabi: Void III, Struggle III, Paths I, Community I, and Family I.
Irrita: Growth I.
Gain: Two Songs.)

[] [Psykana] Sing a Symphony (Choose Five Songs)
Words beyond meaning, songs beyond uttering, a hum of power that is the Warp reveling in its own power unleashed. A Symphony crafted from labor centuries long, and one that shall burn itself into history eternal, both mortal and Immaterial.
(Gain: A Symphony)

[] [Psykana] Warp Observatory (0/3)
Though our Symphonies are powerful, they extract a cost by turning the Warp tumultuous. Enough so that the enigmatic Eldar threatened war if we did not cease casting our Cry For The Future into the same for the benefit of our people. With skill and patience, the Celestial Choir has figured out how to observe the tremors in the Warp that result from singing a Symphony, hoping to find a way to indicate when it would be safe again to let our Cry loose. Yet, with the recent, and worryingly increasing, tremors reverberating through the Warp, more than casual observation is required. A station shall be built in Holy Irridanus where thirty Choirs shall work around the clock to observe and study the ripples in the Warp, both to better sing Symphonies and to divine any problems that Chaos may throw at us.
(Cost: 30 Choirs.
Gain: Warp Tremor Indicator Gauge.)

[] [Faith] An Unborn Guide Sought Out (Write-In)
...
(Gain: Guidance on how to deal with or gain something.)

[] [Knightly Orders] New Knight Training! (2/?)
More training! Yay!
(Gain: Knight Orders train even more!)

[] [Chapter] A Barge For Battle (2/4)
It must battle and barge.
(Gain: The Lamenters gain a Battle Barge (Space Marine Battleship Equivalent).)

[] [Other] Take Care Of [Future Or Current Problems]
(Write-In the problem being addressed.)
