We literally fought one of the Jades in a hotel Lobby fought another one in the not crowded but not uninhabited undercity we definitely weren't hidden away from anyone when we were doing that and we were using steel skin and Veridian Legend exoskeleton to do it we fought the fake God in front of the entire summer Court it doesn't matter how many lips it has to pass through pretty much everyone heard it simply because fairies are not reluctant to tell people things they just require a price for it. There were literally dozens of white vampires at that Gathering where we fought the Walker they are also not reluctant to tell people things even if it is just there Offspring and descendants and servants Word of Mouth that just gets around.
You know you have to know that is not what I mean by thinking ahead or having foresight when it comes to Alchemy. We can assign SGI AP to making potions I was one of the people who asked you to make those two at least. It literally is a lack of foresight. No one is expecting potions to manifest out of fucking nowhere or us to spend time cramped in a lab but these things have a shelf life measured in days to weeks and every turn is a month long. There's this shyness about using what we have it does not at its core matter that some potions may go bad before we use them it is better to have them and not need them then to not have them at all. We are a resource 4 person who can make multiple thousand dollar gems with an afternoon of work we're not hurting for fucking money.
No amount of charms can help you if you refuse to use the shit you already have.
In order:
We fought a servitor of Emma-O in a hotel lobby with no recording cameras and the only witnesses were our allies or Kakuri servitors. We fought the Will of Kakuri in Undertown. The only surviving witnesses are Einherjar, Jade Dogs and servitors of Emma-O. NONE of them talk to the Red Court.
We killed the Skavis at the Raith party.
That party was specifically called to purge Red Court sympathizers who were planning a coup.
Nobody who walked out of there talks to the Red Court.
We killed Iku Turso in Avalon.
Nobody in the Summer Queen's Court reports to the Red Court, and provides them with detailed AARs of what happened and what was used.
Information is not freely transmitted, and whats common knowledge in one faction is not necessarily shared.
And not in detail.
To use an example from this quest, the nazi sorcerer Gorsuch heard about Dresden calling up a T-rex and riding it through Chicago. Enough people saw it that its a story. But he didnt know how it was done. And nobody who saw it did so in enough detail to explain it to him, so he was badgering Matthews about it, who hadnt seen it at all.

Man that is not true.
We are literally at Charisma 4/Manipulation 4/Appearance 3 right now because Molly has been drinking magical steroids she made with Alchemy in the plan we voted for. My plan didnt win, but it was using them as well.
Alchemical elixirs however, do not survive indefinitely, and dont just keep on the shelf. They also take time to make.
Nobody has the time or attention to track arbitrary inventory's worth of "I make this" consumable over months of playtime, so you make it when you want to use it.
And there are opportunity costs to spending AP for shit you arent using.

I genuinely dont get this argument.
We spent a charm slot on a demon sword instead of buying or making a magic weapon. We did the same with VLE instead of armor. This is because we know that when shit hits the fan, we do not always get the luxury of preptime, and going back to dig shit out of our closet. I dont see how you are having trouble grokking that its an issue now.
Nevermind the fact that that all poisons are not equal, and a Path 4 pan-specific alchemical elixir that improves resistance to mundane poison will be of reduced efficacy towards say Red Court venom or hydra's blood which is magic, and will do fuckall against something produced by the Secret Martial Art The Charcoal March.
Or by a god.

PS
Resources 4 really aint very much.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars every month is a lot for personal flossing, but not so much when you have organizational requirements to pay for on the scale of a medium-size corporation.
Consider how much it costs to sustain the Jade Dogs every month; as of Christmas there were 110 people in Last Station, and that might have grown in size since. Not counting Nelson from Vegas.
Or Sanctuary's agents in the real world.
