Mendicant will sell you their healing symbiotes, which they usually won't do under any circumstances.

New Dawn will give you new missions, a boost to taking control of any of their territory, and will send their metahumans to help you on their quest lines.

Wolong's power will help you find Ambrosia synergies, and Arc I'll keep secret for now.
huh well actually bring wulong in on Prometheus? interesting if so.

My hunch is that it will surely doom New Dawn as an org. The members may live if Wonderland is dealt with promptly, and ironically that might be in line with a selfish strategy where we let the org collapse and save the members to get at their base. I'm guessing it hinges on the success of the Seid ihr das Essen? Nein, wir sind der Jäger mission, as it only has a chance of unlocking what are probably the Wonderland questline missions compared to the guaranteed unlocks from The Dragon of the New Dawn.

@EternalObserver May want to revise your plan to select Ibis or Chaucer for the Water-Cooler action.
True that said Hit req is probably taking down the villains while Espionage is for opening up questlines. Considering we have a massive espionage score and Swan as a heavy hitter I'm going confident in succeeding on that mission. Granted dice is gonna dice.

Assuming you do, of course. Gonna have to do that if you want his help with Ambrosia.
Hmm Leizi and JU have enough espionage to make sure Wulong doesnt leak the secret I suppose and his help would be worth the risk.

That said I still stand by Plan Heroism the Uni suffering under Villains is the biggest problem when it comes to New Dawn for me. We can deal with not having Wulongs help for synergies I even think its part of the fun trying to figure out what synergies we can get by ourselves.

[X] Plan: Heroism
-[X] [MISSION 1] Olympus has Fallen (AP 2, ESPIONAGE 4, REPUTATION 6, OPERATIONS 4)
-[X] [MISSION 2] Who's Left Behind AP 2, HIT 6, ESPIONAGE 5, REPUTATION 4
-[X] [MISSION 3] Seid ihr das Essen? Nein, wir sind der Jäger (AP 1, HIT 5, ESPIONAGE 4)
-[X] Total AP & Hero: 5 AP, 11 Hit, Espionage 13, Reputation 10, Operations 8
-[X] Personal Actions:
-[X] Lady Leizi: A Face that Toils So Close to Stones is Already Stone Itself (REPUTATION)
-[X] Black Swan You're Not My Real Dad!
-[X] Menagerie Witch: Madeline-Bowl LVIII
-[X] Handyman: Who Doesn't Love a Power Testing Scene?
-[X] A Spoonful of Sugar (John Henry)

Thinking on it now, the Unnamed Base in Jacob's Ladder would be the one availing us our +1 AP and +1 Global AP in our mission options. With that in mind, all the plans rn will give us at least +1 AP anyways, which is nice for next turn.

[X] Plan: Scarlet Fraud
-[X] Mission 1: Drove Through Ghosts to Get Here
-[X] Mission 2: Who's Left Behind
-[X] Mission 3: Olympus Has Fallen
-[X] Lady Leizi: A Face that Toils So Close to Stones is Already Stone Itself (REPUTATION)
-[X] Black Swan: Water-Cooler Talk (Chaucer)
-[X] Menagerie Witch: Madeline-Bowl LVIII
-[X] Handyman: Who Doesn't Love a Power Testing Scene?
-[X] Global: A Spoonful of Sugar (John Henry Rhodes)
-[X] Total AP: 5
-[X] Total HERO: HIT 15, ESP 16, REP 15, OP 15

[X] Plan: Heroism

I'm still voting for Scarlet Fraud as should it go through (as unlikely as it currently is), it will give us +2 AP and +1 Global for next turn to prepare. I will also go with Heroism as it serves to mitigate the negative repercussions that will come from the loss of New Dawn. Apiary must come next turn in that case.

EDIT:
[X] Plan: Heart & Numbers

So this is still included among the benefits of grabbing the Apiary base, yes? Just making extra sure.
Yep!
Random impression that Making The Rounds/Pest Control give me: Are they repeatable and generic?
Also yep!
Wolong isn't an Algernon, I know that, but is it like, Algernon-adjacent in terms of cost?
Nothing that severe. He get debilitating migraines, which still suck tbh.

I won't repeat myself after this because I think I've been more than clear, but there is no mitigating what will happen. The world-state is going change after any of these missions expires. I already have plans for all three. Please don't think doing a mission now or in the future means ducking or reducing the consequences.

hmm so taking down Uni villains early wont change the effect of new dawn being becoming defunct?

Apologies, what I meant to say it is that it plays more as catch up to prepare us for the aftermath of New Dawn's fall. We may not be able to prevent the death of Wolong and all the other ND members should Plan Grand Alliance lose, as well leaving University District to its fate, but it will at least put Justice Unlimited at a position to respond to whatever organized assault that may come after this turn. Of course, I have no clue on how far the negative consequence will go. There's a chance that these three:
Unlocks mission Long Shadows of Night, Unlocks mission The Air in the Valley, Unlocks mission Grand Theft Person
might disappear from the reward of Seid ihr das Essen? Nein, wir sind der Jäger or get severely altered as soon as the chance disappears, and after New Dawn gets obliterated. Also a chance the crippling of University District may extend to us due to reasons we don't know yet.

Voted for Plan: Heroism because honestly New Dawn seems like it wasn't about to disappear to Powers or break way after US packed up. Are they dead if we don't help them?

I'm pretty freaking sure they are if we leave them alone. An organized assault is hammering them throughout all over their territory after all. Lady Leizi even mentioned they're in even bigger dire straits than initially thought due to how short manpower they have.

Plus... the Seasons are a trap. We know it's a trap. Going to them is falling into the trap.
I mean, sometimes it's worth walking into a trap willingly in order to stop whatever plot that might be hatching in that corner. Also this being a trap wouldn't make this:
(Chance of recruiting Hiver, Intel about Powers, Chance of intel about Scarlet Maturity's true power, Chance of new metahuman DNA, Chance of Income, Chance of +1 to control of OID)
disappear. Sometime knowing that it's a trap can make all the difference.

It does mean we can kill the people they send for us. Dont Forget the powers of our new Heroes too. At the top of my head having Rhys, Disguise himself as Leizi to fool the ambushers and draw them out while counter ambushing them could let us break the trap and save hiver.

Not to mention saving Hiver means not abandanoning someone a Member of ours actually cares about. Chaucer is a vital member afterall and not saving could cause problems in the future.

Like here's the thing, the most this being a trap does is sours us even more on our opinion on Gwen (and probably Jean-Luc). Knowing full well that it's a trap helps us prepare for it and maybe even turn the trap against them should certain rolls succeed or if our plans are good enough. Plus like what @Wing101r said, it helps with Chaucer who is the one handling our Operations, even if he understands afterwards. Heck, I know all Black Swan actions from all plans are about having her approach Chaucer (including Plan Hearts and Numbers) in the hopes of mitigating whatever grief he's going through.

We've all been partying on Dr. Ibis' yacht recently while Chaucer's over there in his rowboat.
