Guys. Guys. Please. The sneaky option does not represent a greater risk of using Yin arts. We're going to be using BKSD to launch our ambush, and PLR, which is the source of Ling Qi's Dream walking, is also a yang art.
Also, Ling Qi is not running off on her own in the second option. She's hiding near her allies, to pursue a particular teamwork strategem. Adding subtetly to the mix of their unity.
Make whatever choice you want, but some of the premises being repeated -relied on- here are just inaccurate.
[X] Suyin has grown capable, all on her own. Between her and Piper they can hold this place. The liminal lies open. If you were to conceal yourself there, you might strike the creatures true vulnerabilities when a moment presents itself.
I want to see if we can grab that little speedy thing which was the core of the big fishman's possession. We know to look for it this time, so I think our chances of grabbing it are pretty good.
It also looks like it would play into the BKSD narrative/story about the River King. Iirc, in the story that's been hinted at so far, the River King was manipulated by the Spider God somehow? The little speedy critter would be a good standing for the spider.
Also, if possible, I want to capture one and give it to Suyin for research material. We have a tradition to uphold!
At minimum, ganking the thing before it(and/or others) can retreat again will make our final push to the breach easier. Cutting the head of the serpent is always preferable when achievable, and I think it is here.
