Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

[X] Try to find and bargain with a spirit-kin dog with Mouse's help, though scions will have their own purposes
-[X] Investigate, by Crown and Lydia's background, the whereabouts of Cŵn Annwn or their descendants

[X] A larger dog, the kind which might also help protect Lydia, a complement to her wooden soldiers
-[X] Recommend another "dogosaur", something like an English Mastiff.

I'll vote a little later when I'm not in a vegetable state. But I must admit I'm very interested in meeting the Alphas. It could be fun.

"Dog shopping sounds strange," Lydia offers gently. "It is not as though money is an object. I'm looking for companions to invest with something of myself, ones who are willing and able to help me in my apportioned task. Alas not all of us can duplicate ourselves." She gives you a sly look under her lashes.

Speaking of Lash... she probably heard that one, the sound of a plate shattering echoes from the kitchen.
Damn, I was hoping to do the reveal by messing with both of them. Though given this reaction maybe that wouldn't have been a great idea.

I'm curious about what lore this dredged up for her though. A lot of higher level information didn't make it into her memories, but she clearly knows something about what a soul hierarchy implies.

I hope we got the same reaction out of Uriel too; the baby primordial he's watching is growing up so fast. :V

He should basically know the score at this point, but even our hell is technically less explicitly connected to what she's becoming than third circles.

A reminder - Lydia need not to contend herself with one dog. She can have up to 8 bonded animals. One is her raven. She'll probably want a pale horse, and a rat (for inflitration - ninja rat!) too. But this still leaves her with up to 5 dogs or other creatures.

-[X] Investigate, by Crown and other means the whereabouts of any Cu-Sith who would be interested in working with Lydia

I can see it now, a pack of small dogs riding into battle on the back of a much larger dog, kinda like how Harry rode Sue the Dinosaur through Chicago.

That sounds like an insult to her ancestors.

If she gets a non-magical dog, I'd suggest an Irish Wolfhound.
How about an XL American Bully? They're big boys, and startlingly dangerous baseline.

We can give it a prodigy collar projecting an SEP field to let it go out in public.

Frankly I wouldn't suggest having one of these if she didn't have magical dog powers, but she does so it's not that insane.

Get a chihuahua. Give it a harness with a pin and spoon. The pin and spoon don't actually DO anything, but there is something inherently satisfying about the "ting" it makes before you huck the little bastard like a grenade at your enemies.

She might be reminded of her own creation by Lasciel.
