Intended meaning: Colorful/Prismatic Clouds
This is both a literal description(in that we're generating mist everywhere and causing rainbow effects wherever the light hits it), and also an auspicious omen, in that prismatic clouds are one of the general signs of blessings and good fortune, as well as Immortals presence

Unintended meanings: Relatively few here,most requiring a deliberate stretch.
-Yun(Cloud) can also be Luck(neither good nor bad, just random) on a different tone, Transport, or Dizzy on yet another.
-Cai(Color) can also be Wealth, Talent, Lumber on a different tone
-Which means it could be
--Treasures/Talents of the Clouds(Cloud + Wealth/Talent)
--Auspicious Colors(Luck + Color, the purely random element having been mitigated due to the colors invoking particular kinds of luck)
--Lucky Talents(Talent mitigating the random element).
--It could also be Delivering Wood(Transport + Lumber)
--Dizzy + X implies being drunk on any of the Cai meanings, or more literally Dizzy/Confused Cai, which I don't think anyone has the balls to imply in setting, considering it takes actual effort to twist it.

This one does seem to have the most punning potential. If the "dizzy" interpretation can be interpreted as a descriptor for the Cai family, could you also interpret it using the "luck" meaning to come out as "lucky Cai" or "Cai's luck?" If so, that plus "Auspicious Colors", "Talents of the Clouds", and "Delivering Wood" all seem like applicable meanings. So not just a double- but a quintuple-entendre.

It's a town built right under a waterfall, but it's also
Connecting two places, connecting peoples, connecting the ducal clan to the fresh barons and the land itself
Not sure if "cascade" here has the same kind of usage like "cascading effects" in English, but it puts the town as the beginning of something much bigger and more powerful.

A less punny idea: Winter's Landing. It's the town we're establishing to interact with the polar nations, so the place where we meet the nations of winter. It's on the lake, so it's a landing. We like to fly and cultivate the cold, and it's the place where we will be landing to rest. It fits in a lot of ways.

I think Xin'an would be the town for meeting with the Polar Nation. Snowblossom is the Cai/Ling/Gan fief and future Ling clan headquarters.

Lu4 also means roads or journeys, so rather than an endpoint like 'edge' or 'rim' type names it's something where you can journey past or through. Between 露 and 蓼 there are connotations of hardship or ephemerality, which can be paired with a word like yu4 逾 for overcome, or 余 for a surplus, so it becomes either overcoming hardship or surplus dew, or, well, surplus hardship. So maybe not yu4. Instead sheng4 is an option, which doesn't have such options available to my knowledge. There's 胜 for victory, surpassing, a beautiful view, 圣 for holy or sacred, 盛 for flourishing or magnificent or famous (and is adjacent to flowers with 盛开, for 'in full bloom'), 晟 for brightness or splendour...

So Shenglu, for overcoming hardship or surpassing ephemerality, beautiful or sacred dew, a scenic journey, and other things. An aspirational name, for Gan Guangli, and a name that references snow or blossoms, for Xia Lin. As an english name, to match style, something like Sacred Dew, Saintly Dew, Dewtown, Verdant Dew (the green was relevant after all!)... is probably best.

We know that the aspects of the 4th grade material should match one of Ling Qi's (ice/cold, moon, music, darkness, etc.) but we aren't certain on the Thunderhoof's aspects yet.

Given the description there's a chance ice might be in there. However, I think it's also worth considering which aspect we want to become central to Ling Qi's cultivation in Cyan and beyond. Perhaps we want to emphasize aspects of the Moon, or refocus on Music moving forward, in which case pursuing a Cyan beast of those aspects may be preferred.

Though I like it rendered as Yuncai more. The color element brings in mists, moon, sun, and light. GG is Sun, CRX is Light, and LQ is Moon. And it is cold out there.
