my new costumes, or my new haircut, or my mask. And I still didn't know why. Though I had some suspicions.
What are you alluding to?
Did anyone bet that Elisburg would play a role during this arc? Hopefully, I managed to surprise you. This one has been in the planning phase for a good while.
You did! Was expecting a classic SH9 attack when the static started to be honest.

...eh why not:
[X] all of the above.

[X] send non-biological partners into Elisburg to search and destroy Nilbog.

Keeping something in reserve seems like a good idea, spread out too much and we'll have problems. We don't know what upset Nilbolg, might still be around.

We should focus down on one task. We have the guys and themes to do so.

On the subject of available destinations, when the time comes there will be a vote of course. But the options proposed will be limited by a list of my choice. I will only give the option to go into settings that I'm familiar with and that I'm comfortable writing in.
Will the Dungeon core dimension be on the list, or is it too much of an original setting for you to be comfortable with it? Because my vote for the first of the dimensions we visit would go to trying to conquer some ten or twenty floor dungeons to level our dungeon master class to at least 11 to dramatically improve Nimue's ability to boost other people.

Yes, a litrpg/dungeon core world is on the list. That's generic enough that I'll have no trouble writing something, and I've read plenty anyway. And it's indeed a perfectly viable strategy to level up our class. Good idea.

Clearly our best move here is to send in our only heartless and have it comsume the hearts of the monster, creating more heartless until the heartless eat the entire army.

Nothing could absoutely go wrong with this, its flawless.

[X] remain on healing duty.

I see no reason why Compendium cannot accomplish both these tasks easily. However, I do not want to commit to everything while their are still so many unknowns.

I would not relax if I were you. After all, something triggered Nilbog's frenzy and if Jack Slash got it into his mind to team up with the would-be king? From what I understand Jack's power would allow him to talk his way into Nilbog's graces and Bonesaw's aid could explain why the monsters are stronger than anticipated.

Or it could be something completely different.

@zagan It's been a bit, please remind me, we can't use Miniaturization to make something qualify for Swarm, right? And we can only use one Modifier? But I actually looked back at things, and now I have an idea I haven't seen anyone bring it up... If we use Fusion Summoning to combine Defensive Microbots and something else, does each of our other 39 summons comes along with a copy of whatever we fused it with?

So, like: 3x Summoning, Boost Synergy, Size Augmentation, Musical Instrument Theme, Half Dragon, Grant Trait (AT Field), Fused Protective Microbots/Koraidon. Since we can't use Miniaturization to get Swarm on something actually strong and we can only choose one Modifier instead of stacking Clockwork, Half Dragon, and Champion. But this gives three highly boosted Koraidons to each of our summons. Does it work?

In order:
-Yes, Miniaturization cannot be used to qualify a creature for Swarm.
-We can't use more than one (or two in some cases) Modifiers from the same Category. But we can have multiple Modifiers from different Categories.
-Fusion can be use we Defensive Microbot but only the original would be fused. The copy would be normal microbots.

So, like: 3x Summoning, Boost Synergy, Size Augmentation, Musical Instrument Theme, Half Dragon, Grant Trait (AT Field), Fused Protective Microbots/Koraidon. No, it doesn't work. See above. But with a few tweaks, we could have a trio of boosted Legendaries, so that's nothing to scoff at.

[X] 100 Taurg + 100 Uproot + Micro Bonus*2
[X] Reject everything and keep points.

I can go either way with this the Taurg is obviously the best pick between those 3 on the Mass Effect part, and of the 3 Mario ones the Uproot seems neat. Though I wouldn't mind rejecting here to save points.

[X] 50 Spitbug + 50 Twister + Micro Bonus*2

These two actually seem quite decent given their point-cost. A bug with a projectile attack able to eat through metal and a small sphere able to toss others into the air. Coupled with the Micro Bonuses, Alex ought to have plenty new material for Grant Summoning.
EDIT:
[X] 100 Taurg + 100 Twirlip + Micro Bonus*2
