The transition into the phone call seems to have vanished during the copy-pasting.
@DragonParadox, it feels like a line or line break is missing in the transition between "talking to cop" and "calling ninth grader".So saying she leaves the car, strolls down the street hand in her pocket. In the glare of the headlights she looks almost stereotypical like the kind of person who should not be on the street alone at night, a short slight woman warming her hands in the pockets of her jacket. You almost pity any who might try.
"Do you want to come to the vampire thing? No pressure just..."

We can't and we shouldn't.If we can do both, and we can, we should. Again, I am talking about using the resources we are going to have anyway - I don't think anyone is arguing for technologically and magically underdeveloped kingdom. Making use of those resources to both strengthen the world's defenses and profit (in order to, if nothing else, strengthen the world more) is logical.
Also, Order-Conferring Bitcoin Trade Pattern. And other similar technosorcery. The insistence on keeping the world separate so the status quo can actually be preserved is... irking to me.
I'm voting more to study her than anything else, as I'm afraid no one will choose the options to research the loot we gained from Kakuri. Just as it seems our network of cyberdevil spies is being pushed aside as something that might wait another turn. But I will vote in approval because your vote is good. Why are y'all voting to take the sword with us? I'm not even sure why it's a default option. It makes no sense, and will look stupid in the party setting. We want to make an impression, but not this kind of impression.
Not to mention the nature of the sword itself.
The point being that its a trophy. Why are y'all voting to take the sword with us? I'm not even sure why it's a default option. It makes no sense, and will look stupid in the party setting. We want to make an impression, but not this kind of impression.

Typo, I think? Not sure why we'd go to Harry to see about the White Court.[] Talk to Harry about what happened, see if the WhiteCourtCouncil is willing to do something about a plot aimed ultimately at them
This is super fucking funny"Oh we are both Gilgamesh," she flips her hair, waits a moment for you to gather your thoughts then adds: "Neither of us are hairy enough for Enkidu."
Heartwarming.People have been following their friends to war for as long as there have been people

Please shut up about Bitcoin. Really not the thread for it.Bitcoin, and cryptocurrency in general is an abomination that actively made the world climate crisis worse by burning more energy than entire nation states for the sake of grifters gamblers and money launderers. Thats just a hard no from me.
I agree, up to a certain point, but most of the impact is lost if no one present actually understands that the sword is all that remains of a powerful enemy. After all, who among Laura's guests will be able to recognize the sword as having belonged to a Greater Akuma?Showing up with the remains of a powerful enemy at your belt is a statement, a rather intimidating one.
Leadership 3, and is a key ability with applicable excellency. If I was proposing "develop technology in a cave with a box of scraps and no assistants" you would be right. I am not. I am proposing "take the technologies of the more advanced society, which fully backs you and where you can work in the open, and order millions of people to devote their time to the tasks you set, and disseminate them into the less advanced society". That's an entirely different task.Finance 0.

Megacorp industrialist is, by necessity, a part of being Demon Empress. We are already committing ourselves OOC to being the Demon Empress of several hundred million people in our Hell/Horizon Realm.
And thats on top of our other shit.
The idea that we can willy nilly tack on megacorp industrialist on that is just hubris.
What one weird trick? This is not Creation, the Solar Deliberative is not a thing, and it is unreasonable to assume you can One Weird Trick reality's defences in a way that noone here has thought of before.
That's my fault, I apologize. The idea was that one of the uses of exalted wondercrafting 5 dot charm could be to make a cryptocurrency of a sort (or, more generally, some sort of widely used program / algorithm, such as a data archiver, or an encryption protocol), that would also generate a mystic effect when used (in the example provided, strengthen reality). One of the canon examples is "a database that records sins of everyone who connects to it" or something similar, so software wonders are possible.

Molly already has a rep for wielding a powerful sword to deadly effect. Anyone who knows that much about her but who hasn't seen her true sword in person would be much more likely to assume she's simply carrying her own sword.
It's like having to explain the punchline of a joke to someone who doesn't get it. Having to tell people why they should be scared of the ominous looking sword is just sad.
And then you could start selling a service to erase someone's sin record, because everyone has some shit they don't want other people to see, even if it doesn't involve murder or similarly heinous stuff. One of the canon examples is "a database that records sins of everyone who connects to it" or something similar, so software wonders are possible.
