Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
I really want to capture it! It's been a while since we've gone full bamboozling mist on someone in particular.
Plus, I really want to see what cool stuff Gan Guangli has up his sleeves. He's clearly gotten way more impressive this past year, with more available than just what we saw in the tournament.
Plusplus, I want to know more about these astral thingums. They're tied up in Hidden Moon lore, White Sky Lore, and Shenhua lore, and plusplusplus, it sounds like an even more face-meltingly rad battle to read!

[X] Take point yourself soaring up to meet in in the sky. Trapping its attentions in your mist and illusions, give Gan Guangli the time to set up his technique. (50% success. Beast captured or slain depending on degree of success. Higher risk of damage. More intelligence on similar creatures)

At the risk of being a jerk to beavers here, this is relatively low-stakes, and getting more intelligence on these creatures is going to increase our odds in circumstances that matter more. The worst case here isn't even the seal breaking, whatever it's sealing, because then we say, "hey, Duchess and/or Empress, we've got a seriously nasty high-level spirit on the loose here, mind helping?" That's why we pay taxes.

(And as our cultivation advances and Murphy's Law slowly disassembles societal order and our fief grows, 1) it's more likely we'll be expected to deal with it, and 2) the more people will be around to be affected. It breaking out later is considerably worse for us.)

Support gonna support. Cmon Gan, show us your efforts!

[X] Allow Gan Guangli to play the bait, while you play the deadly wraith, trapping and killing it once it engages him. (70% success. Beast slain, low risks of collateral damage. Less intelligence on similar creatures.)

Lets be good guests and not wreck our hosts' stuff.

At first I wanted the intel but keeping these neighbors is the longer term more valuable option. Plus do you guys realize this is the first site where both Zhengui, Hanyi and Ling Qi can cultivate all together??

No tiny official hats, but i will take tool harnesses in their stead.
And clay tablets got a mention.

Interesting that the spirits still hold to stories about horned men and speak of burning north.
We make friends here and there could be lot of interesting knowledge to be learned.

Because ultimately I don't like what losing here would mean, and this is an enemy with somewhat out of context powers.

Grinning baybee! Also capture sounds more intriguing than just killing.

Other peoples' homes and lives aren't the time to take unnecessary and easily avoidable risks for the sake of personal gain.
