I was just wondering as all Slugs are apparently connected to the Lightwell and go there for a recharge should they fall sick.
So, I read this and then forgot about it. However, I have to ask: Are there any giant underground ecosystems in this version of Earth Bet? The premise of Slugterra has everything set in a form of Hollow Earth, and we have creatures that live exclusively underground.
and much stronger creature when moving faster than 160km per hour.

Despite the fact that I could now perfectly understand the mechanics behind such power it still left me scratching my head. What evolutionary factors could lead to such an adaptation?
:thonk: Ah, you know the slugs of slugterra are related/descendants of Turbo Snails. These creatures regularly go at extreme speed. Unfortunately, a quirk of evolution means the slugs can't reach the kinetic energy or speeds required for their transformation.
Welcome Shadow, it's good to have you with us. This was mostly a test to see how the summoning ritual felt.
Could you imagine the poor PRT officer that was watching this through the cams? Or worse Piggot walks in while we're in the middle of summoning?

During lunch, a new weight settled in my soul. While eating I idly "looked" at my new partner. A female Sneasel, a pokemon like Buoy. But with a very different typing, Dark and Ice. And a much more aggressive fighting style.
When gaining Sneasel did you have to roll to see which variant you'd get or did you just decide that you wanted Johtonian Sneasel instead of Hisuian Sneasel?

I took the Mystic Water pendant in my pocket and held it toward my water pokemon. He eagerly took it and put it around his neck, emitting a thrill of pleasure at the same time. It quickly disappeared in his frill.
You should add on Buoy's section of the "Character Sheet" that he now has a Held Item. You can also do the same thing with Sombra's section if you decide to give her a Razor Claw to hold in order to increase her crit ratio.

No, no if you check the vote for chapter 106 I proposed both options. And "normal" Sneasel won. But I did choose for Sneasel to be Female, ability, and gave her an egg move. (I also tweaked its moveset to take in consideration Legend Arceus)

Good point I will do that.

Ok I must have missed that but honestly that's a good idea. Do you plan to do the same thing if you roll another Pokémon in the future that has multiple forms or variants?

Evidently and I may (at my own discretion) include fake regional variants from fangame, if they possess a good enough wiki page and I played those games.

Sure 500 I'll go creature maybe we'll get lucky and land on a 800+ creature to use Debt on, and if not still alot of points to play with worst thing that can happen is we land on a board we just want to Reject and keep those points for later.

"Technically it already belongs to you, well it comes from you anyway, it's a little confusing. Here you go."

Zap has to apologize and get a gift? After establishing an inferiority complex?
Followed by having him play the roll of target?
Zap isn't happy. Hope he doesn't carry a grudge.
The most complicated part was drawing the ritual circle. Olky found chalk for me easily enough but it took me a while to draw the circle to my satisfaction. Still, after a few false starts, it was done.

I felt silly as I began to recite the chant that the Menagerie taught me for the summoning ritual. But it was apparently a requirement so I did it.

Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.
Let the pattern engraved in my soul be your guide.
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate.

I shall declare here.
You shall be my shadow.
My steps shall be your path.

Submit to the beckoning of the Keeper.
If you will submit to this will and this reason…… then answer!

An oath shall be sworn here!
I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven.
I shall have custody over all beasts and spirits!

Let it be filled.
Again.
Again.
Again.
Again.
Let it be filled fivefold for every turn, simply breaking asunder with every filling.

From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint, Stallion of the Balance!

The instant I finished the chant there was a flash of, well, darkness, and when I regained my sight a magnificent and sinister horse stood in the center of the circle. He bowed to me and I bowed back.

"Welcome Shadow, it's good to have you with us. This was mostly a test to see how the summoning ritual felt. But feel free to test your power, and of course, you'll accompany me during my evening patrol. I should be able to maintain the summoning long enough."
*Meanwhile at a nearby PRT Security Booth*
Security Guard #1: "We have a Code M! I repeat, a Code M! Code M! We have a Code M for Myrridian!"
Security Guard #2: "Damned LARPers!"

Those that know the Fate universe well, may notice that I personalized the summoning chant. I hope you like the result.
I do!
And I am curious how Taylor and QA will take to this one. Especially the fo after transformation!

Am I the only one that hears Ride of The Valkyries and sees Taylor driving Slug carrying wasps overhead only to drop them from high up enough to morph on people's heads?

We can make a wicked spike collar to improve his electrical attacks. We got some electronics from Horizon Dawn, the Serenity Crystal which works with energy, and pseudo-thinker Craftsmanship. What does get me is Clank's constant working and all Alex has to say is
. A lot of orders, and not a lot of: Good Job, Clank. Keep it up.

Can they go fast enough to trigger the transformation? Look it would be a fun image, but I'm not sure Wasps have incredible diving speeds.

Creature Roll: (510 points)
Category Roll D50=22 Fell Seal, Entry Roll D50=50
300 Warden, 300 Venomous, 400 Beastmaster
Category Roll D50=2 Ark/Primeval/The Future is Wild, Entry Roll D268=185
100 Velonasaur, 300 Voidwyrm, 50 Vulture
Still, nothing to use with Debt sadly. But some very interesting options from Fell Seal (two variants or a class for our hero) and the Ark options are not to be underestimated.

-Beastmaster: You gain all the abilities of a max-level Beastmaster, weapon and armor proficiencies, movement improvement, and power. You can use all the pet versions of the creatures of this category that you possess if they have any.
Note: For now we only have a Pektite that grants us a Pet. Pets are not really alive they could be considered projections using Worm terminology.

[] 300 Warden
[] 300 Venomous

[X] 400 Beastmaster

[X] 300 Warden

Ok these 2 sounds interesting Warden is a very Support heavy Variant with alot of Healing abilities and some Magic support. Beastmaster empowers the MC and has a chance to get more powerful the more Fell Seal creatures we get.

[X] 400 Beastmaster

Both seems very useful but I pick Warden because it has a resu skill.

Edit: Beastmaster also has a resu skill
