[X] Plan Back to Rothana
If nothing else, we need someone who will have new ideas for research. I'd hate to just... not have any projects available in that category. What you are telling me is that we need to start hunting down another specialist, one with a background a little more appropriate. There is no shortage of races where something we consider superhuman, even with the clones' vastly improved baseline, is bog standard and Desnos is simply insufficiently versed. We need to find people for whom this is their bread and butter.
*mad rambling about creating the master race*
*mutter mutter mutter*
Honestly given the multiple times Dooku sent the CIS Forces at Kamino, having a local Dreadnought might not actually be that bad an idea.
In quest or IRL?

Yeah, and our clones are already super soldiers as it is.We are probably pushing the limit of Star Wars science at this point.
I floated the idea of genetically enhanced animal auxiliaries before. I recall Oshha saying that they would consider it if we blew through our research options and limited it to one species.
We absolutely are pushing the limits of mainstream Star Wars science, as it is commonly understood in the Core or the somewhat more advanced Arkanians, at least in the field of genetic science, is comfortable with. But that is not a hard limit, not even the furthest other powers have reached, and is simply the end of the low hanging fruit. And now we must learn to climb. We are probably pushing the limit of Star Wars science at this point.
I rather think the Basilisk War Droid, updated with modern bleeding edge, would fill that niche rather well. They are an old Mandalorian standard that lost favor but remained effective until their dying breath. Biotechnology makes sense with soldiers because you are going to be using them in every single circumstance but its a huge research soak with beasts unless you have millennia of biological templates like with the Vong.I floated the idea of genetically enhanced animal auxiliaries before. Right now we have pushed the baseline up to the point that we are setting the new biological standard for the rest of galactic history but there are still biological elements we can weave in. Then there are refinements and optimizations, some of which we'll need to see combat or exposure to exotic conditions before we even see the need for. We haven't even developed the methodology for making the most of our augmentations as that would require full scale war games under varied conditions.
Well, there is this army of Mandalorian super-soldier whose secret mind-control chips have all been disabled and happened to be more loyal to Jango than either of the active Sith Lords.Well, looks like we're getting close to the end. I hope we have a way to prevent Sidious from sweeping up the loose end that is Jango.
Does not mean Sidious wont manage to kill Jango, just means that Sidious will not enjoy the result of such an actionWell, there is this army of Mandalorian super-soldier whose secret mind-control chips have all been disabled and happened to be more loyal to Jango than either of the active Sith Lords.

If I biologically engineered anything besides our baseline clone it would be Bacta. That microorganism is a paramount strategic resource for any army made mostly of meat but its facing a severe bottleneck. Ideally we would have a symbiotic variant.
