No, you lack the expertise and facilities to pull that off.@Oshha would it be possible modify these prototypes as they are developed if they aren't reaching their hype/expectations?
Can we at least give feedback?
Yes.
The Y-Wing is built by Keonsayr, who is one of the biggest producers of starship parts in the galaxy. Something like 1/3 of all ships have at least one Keonsayr component in them. Might be worth looking out to them. There's another company that makes a good general-purpose starfighter frame, I'll include the link once I finally remember the name of the blasted thing.
Shipyards actually feel like something we should build, they don't even take up facilities slots, being in orbit and all.
People. We can go "Fuck Big Gun Capital Ships" and invest into INCOM, get the X-wing, completely kark every naval doctrine expert in the Galaxy, kark the CIS and kark Palpatine in the case he somehow manages a Sith Victory because now every Anti-Imperialist rebel cell will have a cheap way to get their grubby hands on kriffin X-wings 20 years ahead schedule.
Also, seeing Anakin Skywalker in his prime fly in an X-wing is worth all the credits in the Galaxy.
I don't see us getting the X-Wing. The design for it started after the Republic turned into the Empire. And if we use legends lore then the prototypes together with the design team were extracted by the Rebels during the battle of Fresia in 1 BBY. And in both legends and canon the X-Wing was designed after the lessons learned from the Z-95 Headhunter and ARC-170. And the ARC-170 was created for the Galactic Republic and first used during the Clone Wars. And I think it was only fielded from the second year of the war but I could be wrong. We might get the ARC-170 but the X-Wing isn't even a glimmer in its designers eye.We really need to hire some decent figther producers
The X wing aint gonna build itself alone
These are merely concepts, so they are more roles...Minor nitpick
The Assault Frigate Mark I shouldn't exist yet, it was developed during the Rise of the Empire Era.
It also isn't a KDY Product.
These are merely concepts, so they are more roles...
I mean, is there a ship called multirole frigate in the market?
Edit: Or I think that is the case
I mean arguably the Multirole Frigate that KDY Produced was the Nebulon B Escort Frigate
They don't currently have an Assault Frigate Design per canon. Not unless you want to stretch the definition of Frigate to include some of the heavier armed Corvettes. . .
WOG is these are concepts, so there is a possibility that what we are looking at is what could eventually become that...You get to pick your first warships. As none of Kuat's canon Clone Wars warships except for the massive ones exist at this point in canon with many being designed specifically for the Grand Army of the Republic, I have decided to give concept warships instead of finished designs.
