I don't think she would be involved in any politicking yet. There are precisely three figures from LQ's peers she met, and two of them are far above her in station that it would be considered extremely presumptive of her to engage with them uninvited, especially since LQ is the head of the clan.

But it would be interesting and extremely satisfying if we get to see her POV of actually seeing her "little god" daughter actually going on the offensive and "hunting" her target during a tournament match.

This isn't a tournament we're participating in, though. This is just the Outer Sect's year-end tournament.

Though it would be extremely funny to point at various people doing well in the tournament and casually namedrop them: "There's Han Jian, a count-clan young master, we used to be friends but then I decided only ducal scions were worthy of my time," "There's Bai Xiaofen, she came over one time, I spent the first part of this year as her tutor and trolling her by addressing her mistress by her given name in front of her," "Oh! That's Lu Feng, he's another count scion who I publicly dunked on repeatedly last year, let's wave at him!"

Plus our co-worker and bodyguards! GG is a given but seeing the Ma sisters reach Inner would be great.

Just the Outer Sect Tournament? Just? Surely you jest!

The Outer Sect Tournament is not a side note, a passing interest! It is the highlight that hundreds of cultivators strive towards all year long. Their sweat, tears, and blood form the bedrock of this illustrious competition, the cornerstone of a stage upon which many fight for glory, for dreams, for advancement!

This tournament is a stage upon which the victors can grasp the burning stars of glory in their fists while those who failed can only clutch at rags of shame. A stage where alliances between the mighty coalesce but the dreams of the powerful are dashed. This is no mere tournament, no mere spar! This is an extravagant event, an illustrious competition, and there are none quite like it for leagues around the Argent Sect.

Also, now that we aren't actually participating in it with all the stress that comes from that, we can actually just sit back and enjoy the spectacle! You know, outside of the constant pressure of metrics that GG has to reach and surpass.

I think LQ's personal interpretation of freedom back in the Yellow breakthrough is fine, and while we had a great scene for Wind Thief LQ never really explored how her SCS insight based on motion effects her exactly.
