I don't like surprises so this vote wins it for me. I do hope Ling Qi does tell Xuan about the atmosphere of the place.
Other than that, I am very happy that Su Ling and Xuan are getting along. It's good to know that Su Ling hasn't been playing hermit.

I'm voting for this one because:
1) I want to hear Xuan Shi talk about the thing he likes because that sounds adorable and also I'd like to know more about the books and him specifically, and
2) I really think we ought to tell him what kind of place this is up front, I'd really rather he not find out that such a place of stagnation and despair is related to his favorite author on the spot.

Because it is almost certainly best to talk about it, and get the nature of the site out of the way, or if Xuan Shi talks over Ling Qi at least get to know Xuan Shi more as a person.

Su Ling was there with them, Suyin came out to receive us and guide us towards where the 3 of them are working. Meaning Li Suyin, Su Ling and Xuan Shi are in Suyin's workshop
I saw one post mentioning the possibly malicious dream spirit now with Xuan Shi. Do we have any idea if we are going to be able to address that during this little excursion?
For the vote, I'm rather ambivalent, the conversation doesn't bother me too much. Would learning about him potentially include learning about him and thus Xuan Wu in general? With all the hints about Zhengui being special (shrines, new aspects, 'feeling' the prayers) I want to learn more about Xuan Wu in general and see if this is something new or inherent to the species.
