The big thing that White Sky does, for all of Rexiang, GG, Meizhen and LQ, is give a truly outsider perspective.
a fish defined by the contents of its fishbowl will have a hard time growing beyond it
being able to see themselves as they are, through the eyes of an outsider, should be quite helpful.
There is literally no other (known) opportunity to step away from intraimperial perspective and really understand the global metaphysics, as well as the Empire's role within them.
Given that someone's Way has to be formed at this age, and that insights are farmed in unique and life-altering experiences, this is an excellent place to gain insights which are horizon-broadening and true-to-the-world.
I think this would be a good place for growth for any of our fellow green talents. A school can form the most excellent of foundations, but coming into your own insights and own Way is more difficult. Argent Sect has more (relatively safe) opportunities for the foundations of Ways of any type than any other place we know of. It's a gem.
But interacting with a friendly culture group not of the Empire, in which their temporal rulers are all Greens, past the borders of "civilized" lands?
That's an insight mine if I've ever seen one, and is unfortunately-for-the-Sect a place the Ducal Heir and her crew may drag other talents off to.

[X] Take a central role in diplomacy with the White Sky
in all honesty though this is uh. This is a big step though. The Empire is about to have some interesting times and frankly I'd prefer to have better intraimperial contacts and reputations than a black mark for preferring peaceful profiteering with barbarians rather than the prestige of championing Argent Sect (who was, at the time, at war with barbarians)
And yet, the greedy choice is to say "we'll just earn that reputation back by being awesome lmao" so we on that ice lady diplo yeeeehaw
