Curiosity is always good to nurture. LQ really should be allowed to lean into that side of her.

That seems... to take the vote completely out of context. This is the sentence right before the vote.

And then the vote goes "Well it can't hurt to try, it could be useful," or "No need to touch the thing, her linage would be defined by her teachers."

Touching the tapestry is the option of indulging in the thrill of curosity.

Because ooc it seems the more fun option, and there is a direct call back to something Xin said earlier in the update itself specifically.

This is a callback to the following from Xin.
"Even if you do not fit us very well just yet, it is never wrong to cultivate curiosity," Xin said gently. "And, the seeds are there, did your pulse not quicken, at least a little, when you reached the bottom of the tomb?"

Ling Qi nodded slightly, thinking back to that day. She had never really been able to afford curiosity before, in Tonghou, she couldn't afford much of anything beyond immediate gain.

I honestly can't think of any reason to not poke the thing. Even if its just childishness. Its just fun to pretend to be a lost Weilu princess even for a moment.

The character for Ling may, indeed, be zero. But that stands for our Loneliness, and being greedy. Not for the pride of starting at zero. We're still at zero and only with our family, spirits, allies and friends are we more.

The fading ghosts of a clan dead for millennia are not worth a characterization I do not like.

If this was only for curiosity, then I would be all for it. The way it is phrased though makes me seriously doubt Ling Qi will just be able to brush off whatever information gets revealed.
