The Smallest of Dragons, The Loudest of Roars (An ASOIAF Valyrian Adventure Quest)

. Am I wrong in assuming we won't be soft locked from combat @Magoose? Or will our duties impede us in engaging in it
No. You will however have a lot less actions due to needing to complete senate missions to both bolster the economies coffers and keep the trust of other Senators and officials.

you will also not be the only Censor... there are three.
On that my friend I am sure there is no disagreement. Dragons are great.
Dragons are also very expensive. Thankfully you are very fucking rich.
I definitely want Valyrian Julias Caesar as the player character's father, but I also want to take part in the Ghiscari war for fame, glory, soldier freinds etc and also for our dragon to have combat experience pretty sure dragons grow bigger from killing people.
Well the thing with being having Caesar as a father, we might need to become Octavian to stay alive.
Wait, if our dragon is Azula, then are we Zuko?
The traits do fit...
I'm not going to deny that.

because-it sounds funny.

Plan bonded dragon picture has that majestic look about it. I like it. Although playing in hard mode with next plan would be interesting, I'm not a fan of the picture.

You are ignoring content by this member.
Yeah, I like plan daddy issues but the dragon looks lame af, the dragon awesome plan dragon looks glorious.

But hey, any plan you have will likely involve lots of repressed emotions, trauma, cuddles from the dragon, and all sorts of bullshit.

Cause that mania will be very very strange.

Changed the image for something I think is better! Now with blue flames to reflect ours will be a bonded dragon. Hope y'all enjoy it. (I can change it again if needed)

I weep that this is not our dragon. Though perhaps it is... if we have imbibed enough illicit substances.

Though, honestly, I adore the idea of a sinuous dragon designed to fit into spaces seemingly too small for it. You keep finding the dragon in your room without any obvious holes in the walls and you don't know how.

Run run, ditto moon...

This is great haha, it looks so derpy. What would be the size of small dragon btw @Magoose? The size of a small pony?

The size of a large truck.

considering monsters are the size of fricking c-5's we'll be good.

this is the height of the freehold, not the dying days of dragons in Westeros.

A perfectly decent size as long as you aren't personally tackling other dragons or harpies. And it can probably follow you most places, which is an advantage considering how crappy a job the Spruce Goose would do as a bodyguard.

Good thing most government buildings in the freehold are designed with dragons in mind.

The deathtoll must be goddamn amazing. Valyrians are murder prone, dragons are murder prone, and if you combine the two any violence at all causes a cascade of collateral damage that drags everyone else's dragons into it. A rider can't calm a dragon once the rider is dead and they are the squishiest things present. You shouldn't have to use the promise of Mutually Assured Destruction in order to file paperwork at the county treasurer's office.

If somebody goes off, a rider dies, you could end up with a dozen dragons rampaging for two days straight. Just... gyargh! Its a good thing we only use wood for ships and lighting.

No, I meant that The Buildings are Dragon proof, which is quite useful for keeping the government running when there are idiots fighting with their dragons in the Arena every couple of months because they have a blood feud.

That only happes once every two decades.

Harpies… mad creatures that looked human enough from a distance, but up close, their entire ferocity matched even the greatest and most powerful of Dragons…

Wait, the Ghiscari have literal harpies? I was under the impression that they were all symbolic. Though a closer google reveals that it is in fact ambiguous, and quite possibly intentionally so.

Huh. Well regardless, I will be watching this with great interest. Pray to RNJesus that the dice are merciful.

I decided that: If you're going to go all out on a whole wars to decide the world, you might as well go all out.

This is magoose quest. So it is a matter of time before everything spirals into insanity!
The only question is, well, lets pray that the RNG decides we don't get screwed over by the train jumping the track.
Should I create a Tag that is called Magoose Dice?

Yeah, I think I will.

[X] Plan: Bonded Dragon is Awesome, but let's not get ahead of ourselves
-[X] Vhaeron

-[X]Bonded (Available because you have Dragon Hearted): Your egg was placed next to your crib when you were a babe, as is tradition when a new child is born, and there are eggs waiting to be handed out. Unlike the vast majority of Dragons… yours hatched almost immediately, and you have been bonded for life ever since. And in that bond you share… you feel something else… something you have spent a lifetime trying to figure out. (Can only Take the Small Size for your Dragon)
-[X]Small: Your Dragon is young, fast and swift, rideable by even a novice rider, but lacking the true power of the Dragon Lord needs to really make an impact… For now at least.
-[X]The Outlaw's Justice: Your Father was a man who had a lust for power, influence, and above all else… history. He wanted to be remembered as the man who brought the Freehold to Greatness! Unfortunately, his idea to bring the Freehold to Greatness was through Tyranny. He refused to step down when the Crisis was over, and the Freehold was safe… And well, like every dictator that tried to seize power from the Senate… they failed. He was eaten by the dragons, torn to pieces. But that was not far enough to sate the Senate's Wrath. Everyone died… from the noblest and honorable men of your family who had given everything for the Freehold, to the women whose only crime was standing by the men they loved… to the Children who knew nothing… and the babes who did not get a chance to live. The Dragons they once rode were captured… the eggs left to you to rebuild the families dragon riders, once you had heirs of your own. The only reason you lived… was to Watch… and to not create a power vacuum for a hundred or more great houses to try and rise to take your place in the Senate, and of the Fortey Families themselves.
-[X]None: You were far too young to hold any Senatorial Position by the Valyrian constitution. A Regent will be taking your place until you are 21, of age to enter Valyrian politics.

Reasoning
1. After the Explanation @Magoose gave, I hope nobody will disagree with the Dragon-Type and Size. I am completely open to change his Picture and Name though, if anyone has better Suggestions.
2. While Outlaw's Justice is cool, I think it's a bit too much on top of our already existing Issues. The Murder not only provides hidden Enemies and Mystery, but probably also potential Allies.
3. As @Magoose said, holding any Office at our Age is illegal and could come back to bite us HARD. Let's instead work our way up once it's time. The War will open plenty of Opportunities.
