Especially heavily domesticated types like Zeqing who've had centuries to adapt and acclimate to Imperial culture and get bound by her agreements to the Sect
Assuming you have a read on her to think that asking for help we dont need without strings attached is awful because you genuinely have no idea what you're doing

I don't understand this arc (from thread's perspective) at all. We went from people fearmongering the hell out of the Assault vs Perimeter vote, to "hey we're going to win basically guaranteed and the Peak Green will be at our mercy haha"

I'm pretty sure she's not really much like Zeqing at all, because fundamentally she's a human while Zeqing was a spirit. I don't think she's going to eat us, that's a silly example and fails to make your point. I also don't think she has much reason to lock us into a fae-like bargain. A shitty bargain maybe but I frankly don't mind that much if that happens.
This entire fight has been kind of shit from start to finish in terms of the Argent Sect fucking up their Strategic Goals, so I'm more interested in at least mitigating the harm it does to itself.

dude this sounds supper arrogant , the hell.... how are you gonna ask an enemy combatant in the middle of a warzone for HELP of any kind " if shes so interested in you" why should she risk helping us when clearly even if the sky faction is not part of the alliance they are still helping the other barbs in this fight. her husband healed some of the other barbs already and is currently fighting .
i dont think she has bad designs for us or anything ...a current hypothesis of mine is shes more interested in hanyi than us for several reasons. But even so, it comes off as super rude and naive to think curiosity means alliance/ deserved help.

She'll hit the Shishigui faction which are already on their last legs between Renxiang and Ling Qi as things stand. Once Ruan Shen arrives he has pretty good odds of wiping them out entirely on his own while backing up Renxiang besides
Let alone the other 25 third realms accompanying him
We straight up dont need her.
Even if you're right about this not having potential to backfire, it's still a waste of time because on the tactical level we've already sent the hostile Cloud Tribe factions into a Death spiral.
