Maybe we can get it to help our Dance too? This seems like the kind of accessory that'd help with Dance.

Also it gives us the poofy immortal ribbon so this is the objectively correct choice.

Nope, we have slippers. There's a difference.
No, we have boots. Our dress came with them.

We also have a pair of crappy stealth slippers though, which is probably what you're thinking of.

Mmm, while the poofy immortal ribbons are cool, I'm a bit worried that it would clash with our cloak? Might be a bit overdone there?

Depends on what it does, it's being made by the same artisan who made our combat outfit, so if we make it an accessory to the outfit, it'll likely synergize.

A ribbon thingie that can extend and support our Dance abilities while also serving to make Ling Qi a bit harder to hit with magic spells could be valuable.

I'm sure Lin Hai could make it work, what with him being a great designer/ craftsman and all.

See the long ribbon/sash thing? That's a Pibo

Apparently there were different styles on how to wear it depending on time period

Well that looks a lot like a shawl. I guess its supposed to be narrower than a shawl and more...ribbon-like? W/e, we can replace our current shawl.

I'm against ruining our nice big billowy sleeves.
Hey, our sleeves aren't going to be ruined. They can still be big and poofy. We're going for an image change here, maybe what we need is to go a little wild and flash some wrist bones. Nudge the line of indiscretion a little letting others see the outline of those forearms as we cross our arms instead of tucking our hands into our sleeves. We're moving away from the Bai Meizhen school of social aren't we? Let's pick things up a notch.

Guys, why S.Defense? We should naturally rake that sort of thing in with our arts.

The argument for Resist is very good (we layer effects, thus Dispel is our ruin), and it's generally useful on top of that, and hard to raise.

Simple, neat, thematic. Maybe they can jingle if we dance.

I just urge folks to go for Resist, or just something that will always be useful, and is hard to raise otherwise.

Even without considering that we'll improve our S. Defense through ENM, LFWT, and SNR, Resist is a lot more important to us than S. Defense. Our S. Defense will only matter if we're facing someone who uses spiritual attacks. Resist matters in literally every fight for us, as enemies can invalidate our primary combat strategies if they dispel our field effects.

I care not for mechanics, only a e s t h e t i c c , so allow me to present a different option:

Hand/arm jewellery!

Looks cool, doesn't get in the way of fluting and really plays up on the whole villainess aesthetic we have going. What self-respecting villainess doesn't have a substantial collection of jewellery and shiny things?

Also if we go for a resist talisman, we could literally just wave our hand if someone tries to dispel our shit and be like 'no u'.

@Mother Nyx pls do a halp to get Ling Qi some proper villainess jewellery. I defer to your expertise in this :V

Also CRX and Meizhen really need to bulli Ling Qi into wearing something less frumpy.
