Now we just need to get our punching and swording up to the point where we can reliably inflict genjutsu with the feeling of being punched or cut being the probe for the genjutsu. And wouldn't that be horrifying for our enemies?

Eh, Naruto saw nothing wrong with teaching his technique to a friend of his although that could just be a trait he got from his dad.

Yea Naruto was vomiting his stuff till poor Kid became another Naruto. Was it too much to ask for the kid to pick up a bit of 3rd's legacy like monkeys contract or staff? Fucking Boruto doing shit like making Anko fat.

I'm reading through the pages after the update, and it's like 20 pages of pure salt. w e w.

It's honestly a bit of a pity that it won't last past the first major team conflict. Once we've gone through the obligatory "survived a life/death situation together" chat will do what it always does and start waifuing.

Man, I hope Kurenai can help us do the visual-key genjutsu with the hoodie I was thinking of. From what I remember of her in canon, her think was Genjutsu that was applied flawlessly and was hard to get out of. I'm think we aim more for 'Genjutsu that are unconventionally applied'.

Yea so, this was probably a deliberate Hokage choice (or just ves messing with us) to try and break up that hatred block as much as possible. Can't be raising ninja that actually hate each other or they may be inclined to give it the reigns at bad times for the village.
Putting them together will force them to confront this and strike some kind of balance, or prove themselves too immature and put back into the academy stream for another go round.

In any case, lets nip this in the bud. Whatever our opinions of each other we're a team now and we'll have to trust our lives to these people as we go forward. Ino can wait. I'm actually kinda surprised she kept that impression so long since the Ino Shika Cho thing has been core for a long time.

That's what I am thinking too. The leaf is about everyone having each others back. If there is internal conflict, that has to be snipped off at the bud. So you put the ninja who hate each other together, either they get to know each other trough adversity, learn to trust. Or they fail and well, they don't get far.

But the point stands with the parallels with the living furniture which tried to kill us.

Mind control isn't scary. Nor is mind control designed to be a weapon to distract and disturb the mind during combat. Jk. It's horrifying. I mean Obito illusioned the land of mists into self destruction, yeah. But ey, power is useful in all forms.
