Sure did it on his own. As for the repair option... okay it's feasible because Kode deemed it within DDog's capabilities, however, right now we have much bigger fish to fry and just because we can repair it now doesn't mean we can do that in VC-land. Just keep that in mind.

That raises another point, sticking a child into this fucking walking WMD. We've established a narrative of being a hero so far, employing child soldiers is not an option under that narrative. Hell, HAVING a walking WMD is very questionable considering our current course of action.

Also if we aren't using the nuclear option i'm not sure If I would class Sahelanthropus as a WMD.

I'm not talking about talking about that, After you destroy it the big fight at the end of chapter one, Huey secretly repairs it while on mother base.
He atleast managed to make it battle ready again working on his own and in secret.
It then gets jacked by Eli and psycho mantis when they break away from Diamond Dog's and make their little "Kingdom of the flies."
Edit: Looking at the wiki apparently Huey was Help by Eli and his child soldiers... but its not like a bunch of child soldiers we're gonna Robotics genius or have access to cutting edge technology.
So yeah, it can be repaired by one robotics engineer and a bunch of child soldier's.... its absurdly easy.

There was a paragraph early on that had an abundant comma problem tho.
Huey has problems, but he nets you a CP. Felt like some words were missing here and there, but overall good effort.
Also a bit of redundancy regarding some of Huey's phrases.

Early on there's a missed apostrophe, and you didn't put a space between one of the words.
Then it got cutesy and the only thing I really noticed that annoyed me were the overly large paragraphs that can be broken down a bit more.

I'm just imagining Sahelanthropus wading into enemy battle line and carefully flipping over every tank, one by one, until they are all threads up, like demented turtles after demented turtle-flipper passed.
Version B is partial reprise of "Where Bees Sleep" - fog/dust storm, visibility zero, tank column slows down, terrifying screams and sounds not quite unlike fog horn. Then fog/dust storm passes and all tanks in the column are flipped, and no one knows how, why or what. Just some remember giant leg or giant arm suddenly passing by.
And I am sad now that we aren't supporting kurds more.

Mother base is a stationary base built on an oil rig. It is pretty much a sitting duck if anybody gets to it. A naval engagement with a srsface naval task group is going to end up with us in the water in very short order, regardless of how powerful Sahelanthropus' railgun is. This is the era of people firing shells from beyond the visual horizon. We've got one Sahelanthropus - that's not enough to fight off a fleet by itself.
The way to not get hit by a srsface navy is to make sure we don't blatantly* become a nuisance enough for the Federation and the Empire to send srsface navies at us instead of at each other. Not by having Sahelanthropus.
*This means we need to S-rank stealth every mission, or if we end up going loud, then we kill everyone and sanitise the battlefield.
Nobody can report Diamond Dogs curbstomped them if there's nobody around to report.
