Do you think somebody would just do that? Post character dialogue on the internet and have those characters lie?

Dude, he's talking to someone who comes from a clan of psychiatrists. Lying to two Kunoichi is idiotic, and Tokei doesn't seem like a great liar to me, especially with the way he is openly disliking us. I assume he paused because he had to force the words out.
Your guardian makes small talk with the two matriarchs for a few moments before walking back over to where Umo is watching the scene with keen eyes. You're left to your own devices with the two women and babies- and you're quickly put back into service helping them when baby Ino launches a small fuzzy toy directly at your face. You pick it up and give it back, drawing another coo from the mothers and a little gaa from the newborn.
As she launches it again, smiling at the new game, you keep an ear on the mother's conversation. "So that's…?" Mrs. Yamanaka asks.
"Yes, the Iron Damiyo's… nephew. He caused quite a stir when he was born from what I hear. You can see a little bit of the man in his chin and eyes, but he looks more like his mother from what I can tell."
I'm assuming our mother is the daimyo's bastard sister which is why nobody recognizes her and is why she's hiding out in a ninja village.
I mean I suppose we can be the Iron Daimyo's bastard, but then who is the person that was with our mom? He's pretty much confirmed to be our dad, and I think the Iron Daimyo visiting would cause more of a stir.
We're clearly his bastard. The clan mums even compare us to him in looks and claim our birth was a scandal.
Konoha is also in recovery mode, and we go straight from our house to the park. We see nothing else of Konoha, so we don't know that his visit didn't cause a stir.
We're definitely the bastard child of the Iron Daimyo and one of his concubines. Like, that's not really questionable, it's all but spelled out in the text.
You are definitely wrong. Legitimate children can only born between a husband and wife. Children born of concubines are illegitimate bastards. How can we be a bastard if we were born to a concubine? Pretty sure children born to a concubine aren't considered bastards, but I may be wrong.
Look, you shouldn't let yourself be blinded by your preconceptions and just adamantly stick to a single view. It's not healthy, especially when evidence has been provided. We're definitely the bastard child of the Iron Daimyo and one of his concubines. In this moment, ANV, I hold you in the highest level of contempt. You know why.Look, you shouldn't let yourself be blinded by your preconceptions and just adamantly stick to a single view. It's not healthy, especially when evidence has been provided.

Look, I...don't know why you'd think that of me.In this moment, ANV, I hold you in the highest level of contempt. You know why.
