Game of the Year: A Naruto Quest

[X] Socialization (Mother and Tokei). You love your mother, and you're curious about Tokei. You're going to be living with them for a while; better to be close with them.

[X] Questing (Skills). Your skills are all terrible. The faster you improve them, the better.

Hopefully this doubles as rep gain with Ino-Shik-Cho.

Hmm, not sure what to take right now. I only know that I don't want to take this

[] Socialization (Unknown). Konoha is a large village with thousands of people in it! Surely you can make a new friend!

Because as we add more people that means less focus on other stuff. Ino, Shika, and Cho, along with our mother and Tokei are enough for us to interact with right now. Best to have a few really good friends than have a whole bunch of people that we are only acquaintances with. So for that reason we probably shouldn't seek out new friends at this time. Right now I'm sort of split our working on our skills and socializing with the Ino-Shika-Cho. Will have to see if any good arguments come up.

For me it is between these two options:

[] Socialization (Ino-Shika-Cho). You're known to two of the three families that make up that make up the noble trio, and the third is sure to come soon. You could do far worse than make friends with them.

This gives us friends that we can count on, or the beginnings of friendship. It would be pretty bad to play most of the quest as a loner. Getting some friends would be good for us. Especially well connected friends.

[] Questing (Skills). Your skills are all terrible. The faster you improve them, the better.

On the other hand, getting more skilled.

I'll go with this for now.

[X] Socialization (Ino-Shika-Cho). You're known to two of the three families that make up that make up the noble trio, and the third is sure to come soon. You could do far worse than make friends with them.

Unless a better argument comes up for something else.

Yes, because there wasn't a very conspicuous pause right before Tokei said nephew.

Dude, he's talking to someone who comes from a clan of psychiatrists. Lying to two Kunoichi is idiotic, and Tokei doesn't seem like a great liar to me, especially with the way he is openly disliking us. I assume he paused because he had to force the words out.

That's a very good point. I'm assuming our mother is the daimyo's bastard sister which is why nobody recognizes her and is why she's hiding out in a ninja village.

Shut up MC! I like Orochimaru

CALLED IT, OUR MOM IS A PRINCESS!

In this context nephew could be euphemism for bastard.
