The more you can get on a regular day, the higher the threshold for a special day.

The issue is compounded by Sidhe not being from a hypercapitalist culture, and therefore potentially might not consider "buying a thing" to be the standard birthday thing.

See, there are two schools of thought to how you RP a character's social activity.

One is to basically say "[k] Get Bob a nice present, maybe an X, a Y, or a Z." Where the intent is clear: get something nice. Not something lame or stupid or an unpleasant experience that will subvert the intent of the vote.

The other is to have everyone dance around in circles and argue and bicker about what is 'optimal' gift and how to obtain it. Since such an argument cannot really be resolved, it's a huge waste of time.

Thinking further about it, I find myself agreeing with @Vebyast at least somewhat, but for a different reason. Artificial vessels have perfect, super-perfect memory. A picture would have far less sentimental weight for someone who perfectly recalls the moment it was taken whenever they wish.

[X] Quickly check with Mom to make sure you've cleared out all instances of the shadowblood ecosystem.
-[x] People with similar symptoms or records of same, microorganisms or spores from the diseases, research notes, maybe she could quickly question a doctor?

-[X] Look for a birthday gift for Sidhe. Something of sentimental value. You have an idea of having a group picture / photo and making that into a gift. So, maybe look for ornamental or enchanted picture frames?
-[X] Look for something for Nanoha. Shop for souvenirs for her family and friends together? Her parents have a bakery, so maybe some exotic spices or cooking implements / cookbooks? Or ornamental swords? She would know best.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, mate. Assuming the worst of someone like that is rather rude, IMO, and I haven't notice SH being particularly prone to petty sniping, or even extensive use of the emoticon, so I don't think it's warranted. When the situation looks identical in either scenario, it's generally polite, especially in a cooperative game where it is preferable to get along, to not assume the malicious one.

Edit: Apologies for bringing it back up, but this bugs me. I understand it to some extent on debate boards and comment sections, but this is a social activity, and thus a different setting entirely.

Something we should keep in mind is that "Mother's Day" lies on different calendar days, depending on the celebraters' culture.

For Sidhe's birthday, maybe we should make it Sidhe day? Ask her how she would like to spend her day, and make it our highest priority to make it happen.

No more settings. At the very least not until we fully explore our existing settings.

Don't forget to vote for any other options you want to see in the next update; you don't have to vote for merely one. I believe an omission is counted as a vote against. (*cough*Demigod Nanoha needs more votes*cough*)

Unless you're actually against all the other options, which would be cool too, I guess.

OK.... since I finally have a enough free time to actually start re-reading the story from the start. I figured that be the best place to post random commentary as I trek through it all.

Random question but does anybody think that Fairy Tail god can use Jade's ethernano organ to influence her? Since from the earring we know that inter-planar effects are possible.

The earring was, so far as we know, mana-based. Plus, our Ethernano organ isn't innately aligned with any deity (I think), nor do we have any reason to think it's become so aligned. Pretty sure that, unless you're a Take Over: God Soul inheritor or something, that's not an innate thing.

Um, that you can vote for multiple options, if you want? Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but you're new and only voted for a single option that hadn't received any votes so far, so I thought it'd be best to check. Not voting for an option is generally counted as a vote against, so your vote was basically an anti-vote against all the other options. Which is fine, so long as that was the intent.
