In other news I have just realised that there are only nine more episodes left until the end of year one. Nine until the Nabu encounter starts.

And I've got ideas for about three of them.
Open invitation to make episode suggestions? Open invitation to make episode suggestions.

Kilowog takes a field trip with a fresh batch of Greenies to Earth so that they can see how a non-Green Lantern fights. Ends up in a metaphorical dick measuring contest between how Kilowog and OL fight.

See how the rest of the Team react to using an orange ring, just for more test data and for them to see how OL feels while using it.

More just a portion of an episode- OL works out and makes the stuff he will leave for the Team and League when he leaves Earth. Stuff like an alien armory, a more robust interplanatary sensor network, a faster ship for getting places, upgrading the Watchtower, etc.

Testing Avarice magic, and working out how it operates.

Race war on Mars between the colors of Martians.

Seeing whatever Truggs is up to.

Klarion shows up again.

Grayven's first mission for the Light.

Exploring the Holden of Avarice.

Grayven meets Sinestro 16.

OL spends some time helping the local Greenies with their jobs. Or just a mission with the League instead of the Team.

Kid Flash's adventures in alchemy.
Fool's Canon part 2 where the thread gets involved! ( :p )
Small blood covered girl: "It's teammate, one word. And look up how to use toward/towards. Make my job so much easier."

Larger woman, also covered in blood: "And stop it with this 'kill them with kindness' you have going on with some people. You have a power ring, you don't need the 'with kindness' part.

Also I hear there's a very nice prison therapist who is very lonely right now down in Louisiana. Hint hint nudge nudge."

Paul meets Orange Lantern Paula in her universe. Along with her team...

Supergirl, Aqualass, Ms. Flash, Kid Martian, Robin, and Apollo... and so on.

Paul arrives as the Orange Iron Lantern in the Amalgam universe. (What would an Amalgam (DC+Marvel) version of Earth 16 be like)?

Paul and friends arrive on his world... still as their superhero selves. Or not, if you want to make it difficult.

I find it slightly odd that Azula didn't correct Paul by pointing out that Ozai crowned himself Phoenix King.

The Leprechauns have come up a time or two, he'd probably be a bit weirded out if he discovered them scanning for more Maltusian traces.
That reminds me, there were a whole lot of Guardian containment vessels laying around...
"Ring. Detect Guardian made containment vessels on Earth."

"Seventy-five found."

What?

"Ring, detect guardian containment vessels containing energy."

"Twelve found."
Maybe Paul can hunt down and check out what they are. maybe prevent a Sealed Evil in a Can from escaping, and maybe give those empty containers to a Greenie to return to Oa ("Learn to pick up after yourselves! Damn midget litterbugs...")

I think that was covered by Paul mentioning that Ozai 'crowned himself King of the World'

Hahaha! Oh, well before that! The first White Dwarf I bought was 178, back in 1994. The Hot Pot was back in issue 150.
Ah, I suspected as much, afraid I hadn't even heard of warhammer at that point. Though I do vaguely remember reading about the hot pot in a white dwarf, so it's possible they reprinted it at some point... Not sure it's worth working through all of my issues for but if I happen upon it I'll be sure to post it.

Since one of them turned out to contain a live Burning Martian that would be a good idea.

Already planned for Year 2.
Klarion shows up again.
Definitely already planned.
Grayven's first mission for the Light.
Already planned.
Grayven meets Sinestro 16.
Not for a year or so.

Not a bad idea.

HAHAHAH!

Whoops.

She probably didn't hear the capitals. It did work as a job description as well.

Already happened. There were a lot of empty batteries on that ship. I think the SI mentioned it during the episode.

Several potential ideas pasted together into a very rough structure.

After the close call with Billy, Paul decides the Watchtower and mountain need better medical facilities. And several different ways of healing people in case one or more of the ways proves ineffective.

So he checks up with Wallace, asks how things are going, and requests he make the best healing potions he can that have a good shelf life.

He goes to Themyscira to study and copy Baroness von Gunther's healing device, and while he's there teaches Sadeh or one of the Amazon healers how to operate it.

And maybe also copies some medical tech from the Stewart ring if there's something good there.

Paul talked about upgrading the Watchtower's security with—among other things—Martian telepathic recognition devices. So maybe Paul makes a formal petition at some point to Batman and the League about some of these upgrades after he's made considerations and done research.

This would be a great opportunity to visit Mars and learn about their telepathic technology, perhaps their magic on a later visit, and experience how a community of individual telepaths interact. If Paul can convince M'gann and Connor to come along, there could other interesting stuff discussed about Martian culture, and maybe they both get to meet M'gann's family, which could be fun.

Could be worth pointing out that there is nothing wrong with having small time skips, maybe nothing special happens for 2weeks and time is spent on the variety of side projects. Progressing faster is better than lower quality episodes.

But something Paul might wish to deal with:
The upset on Mars due to the recently spread information about the guardians actions. Also set their society on the path of less racism

Getting a FTL capable power armor in order not to die should the ring croak in space

Getting avarice enhancing tattoos

Doctor destiny

Fate is working to stop an ancient evil. Paul opposes him

Paul gets to resolve "this little piggy" from jla

Experimenting with amazo (possibly done by t o morrow)

Continuing the investigation into Dianas birth.

Getting Roquette hired by Ted cord

Can the ridiculously fast growing plants from the injustice league solve world hunger after they have been rendered non poisonous

Where does Zatannas powers come from since she doesn't seem to use her soul like the Atlanteans

Convincing superman to be allowed to dig through his records in an attempt to cure match. Due to Paul's faltering belief in the league's competence

Part of the starro is regenerating

Setting up sensors to cover the system due to being surprised by ambush bug

Static Shock's big bang hasn't happened yet, right? If that's going to happen in this timeline at all and isn't already planned for something specific, that would probably make a few episodes.

One where OL is trying to find out what happened, both in the general 'why did this event happen' and more specifics like 'why was this company storing power gas in these easily destroyed containers where any gang could just go fight'. Might want to make sure there won't be any terrible side effects to the gas, probably also trying to figure out how it makes powers because augmentation is kind of a thing for him. He'll probably be stonewalled by that company that made the gas, but that's several updates worth of trying anyway so it'll certainly fill up an episode (and we'll see Grayven just refuse to take no for an answer probably). Maybe have the gas too unstable to really control, or show a few dead/horribly deformed gang members to prove that it needs a lot of refinement before it's safe to use.

Another episode, probably right after the last, trying to work with Static and any other heros in the area to form some kind of Teen Titans style team; with as many powered baddies as there are in Dakota this team would probably be more local than the YJ team. This would probably include convincing a couple out-of-towners to join up too, ones who aren't yet fully trusted to know about the YJ team's existance, or ready to join them for whatever reason. It'd probably also involve convincing the ones less interested in heroic stuff to try it for at least out of combat stuff, and maybe converting a few villains/soon to be villains to the team with money and a promise of helping to cure them of the physical deformities their powers caused (like that harpy-ish girl, or the one who's made of water or something).

One a while later where we see some consequences of the big bang outside of Dakota, because no way are two gangs full of kids and basically everyone they run into in the near future who gets a big enough whiff of power gas all going to stay in that one place. Let's see a couple other gangs suddenly get more dangerous after they get a few people in from Dakota, or maybe someone with power that's weak alone is picked up by some super-villain it synergizes really well with, making them suddenly way more threatening.

Then one more episode, the super villains in Dakota decide to team up to take down Static's team, and maybe even call in or hire some extra help from farther away. Possibly through the Light? Fortunately the team is smart enough to call in OL for backup before things get too bad.

It's also possible to have an episode like the final one(?) in the show where the company that made the bang baby power gas makes one to remove the powers, and OL has to help protect them team, undo the power sapping gas safely, and try to figure out how to stop it from affecting them in the future. Maybe magic would help. But while I don't know Static timelines, this would probably happen well after Nabu anyway, so it won't help now.

So yeah, don't know if there are any plans for Static, but if not and you're open to using it there's plenty of possibilities there.

Paul having to explain Blackest Night, before it happens to minimize it. Which brings up the other lantern corps... and Earth's Darkest secrets.

Then having to come up with a way to explain how he knows, if he hasn't explained his origins.

He has been checking up on William Hand, but as far as he can tell the man hasn't committed any crimes yet.
We already know OL can forge power rings. Would it be possible for him to convert one of those guardian storage units into a violet CPB with the star sapphire?
It's possible, but he doesn't have the knowledge required.

Paul travels to Earth 16's British counterpart, where it's the Justice League of The United Kingdom... or Maybe the Justice League of the Commonwealth?

Basically, everything is U.K. related....

Paul dragging the technological world by the balls and working into making magic mainstream is always fun to watch.

Paul tries to learn some magic or/and studies the mechanics behind magic, I love me some worls building.

Amazonian and/or their gods visit/interactions, him visiting his dryad and having a taste of the Green could be interesting, mind bending effects and their consequences is entertaining.

There's a bunch of stuff I'd mention, but it would already have a date like him obtaining a different ring and it causing issues.

Hmm, I would have thought his previous work repairing his own lantern after scanning Guy's would have provided the ring enough information. I suppose he'd need best snek or the controllers to help him do it then.

Maybe something happens that leads Superman to finally offering OL access to the Kryptonian medical knowledge he has, allowing Paul to help Match and bring him more into the story? Or OL just becomes impatient with the progress Cadmus has been able to make with Match and negotiates for the information. Resolving some of Match's issues, integrating him, and the lead up to that could be the main focus for a good episode.

Amazonian and/or their gods visit/interactions,
Meeting Helios or Prometheus would be interesting. I've enjoyed all the meetings with gods that have happened so far, and those two would be cool to see as well.

He saw what a functional personal battery looks like. Central power batteries are presumably more complicated, and he doesn't really have the knowledge required to convert things into their non-orange equivalents.
